《Fun and magic》Chapter 14-Bold move?

Jason's face scrunched up immediately, and then...
He broke out into a fit of giggles.
"Bwahahahahah, you're a chuni, hahaha. What a joke! Doors, what doors? Hahaha."
"Human, you dare laugh at the mighty... Uh. Keeper of door!" This was the left head.
"Are you an idiot, that doesn't even make any sense. And it's not even a door, it's a hole in the ground with a piece of wood to cover it."
"It's a door!" ×3
"Hole!"
"Door!" ×3
Harry, Ron and Hermione watched dumbfoundedly as Jason spoke to, a sometimes growling, sometimes barking dog.
Jason had told Harry about his ability, but hearing about it and seeing it in person were two totally different things. Any bystander would surely think that Jason had gone crazy... any bystander like Ron and Hermione.
"He's gone mad!" sounded a terrified Ron.
"It seems so yes." an utterly confused Hermione.
Hearing the bystanders, Harry had no choice but to defend his friend. He also couldn't help but think of what he sounded like when he spoke to snakes.
"Jason told me he can speak to animals."
"That is... weird." Ron said at a loss for words.
"Yes, it is pretty weird." Though she said that, Hermione got even more curious about Jason.
"What's so weird about it, I can understand them too, well only snakes."
But when Harry said that, both Ron and Hermione got a big fright.
"Harry you're a parselmouth!" Ron hissed
"What's with your exaggerated reaction, isn't it the same as Jason."
"It's not the same" Hermione tried to persuade Harry. "Jason can probably speak to all animals right? That's never been heard of but it's still safe, probably."
She took a breather, then looked at Harry seriously.

"But Harry you speak parseltongue, which has been heard of. And only.."
"Only what?" Harry urged her on, with a nervous treble in his voice. You couldn't blame him though, Hermione made it as if he had a rare disease.
"Only the most evil wizards in history could speak parseltongue."
This was Jason, who seemed to be done arguing with fluffy. He walked over to Harry and pat him on the shoulders.
"But don't worry about it Harry, you killed the most evil wizard in history, how could you not be good. Aaand even if you were evil..."
Here Jason's mouth turned up into an evil smirk.
"I'll burn the world down with you, and we'll blow the ashes to the moon."
Ron and Hermione shivered at that declaration, and Harry had tears in his eyes as he looked at Jason.
"Jason! "
"Harry! "
"Jason! "
"Ha--hooold the fuck up! What sort of development is this."
Jason immediately backtracked. When he looked around him and saw the weird stares of Hermione and Ron, he felt like crying. Even Fluffy looked at him weirdly.
Misunderstanding, this is a misunderstanding!
Though saying that out loud would only worsen things.
"Humans! You dare ignore this great doorkeeper before you. You even have the gall to profess your lov-"
"Shut up triathlon head, or you'll only see through two eyes from now on!"
Jason threatened Fluffy, pointing his wand at the middle head menacingly.
"Hahaha little human, do you really think your ma-"
Again his sentence got cut off, but this time he stopped voluntarily. Because looking behind, Fluffy saw a deep gash on the wall, which was ridiculous because the walls were supposed to be magically protected. He was sure that if whatever Jason had cast was directed at his heads, one of them would be permanently asleep right now.

Fluffy immediately sat on his hind like a good dog, and all three heads looked at Jason pitifully. Jason felt kinda bad for scaring Fluffy, after all, he was just doing his job.
"Well don't worry I won't hurt you okay, just guard whatever it is you're guarding, and we'll get out of here."
"Thank you tiny human, this uhm, keeper of holes is in your debt."
"Sure sure. Let's go guys."
Harry, Ron and Hermione after one last glance at Fluffy, hastily ran after Jason.
When they got out of the door Hermione immediately started questioning Jason.
"How can you cast non-verbal spells? Why can you understand animals? And what was that last spell you used?"
"Who knows" Jason answered dismissively.
"You!"
"Me what? Look i don't have to answer any of your questions okay, you're not my friend, neither are you my girlfriend. You're at most an acquaintance."
"But, but.." Hermione softly bit her lip, she knew that her questions were inappropriate, but she was just a little excited so she blurted them out. She had hoped though that he could answer her, especially about the spells. But her hopes were ruthlessly crushed by Jason's dismissive attitude, so she could only lower her head downtrodden.
Looking at Hermione sadly lowering her head like a kitten that got scolded, Jason felt a little bad for her.
"Listen okay, there's an easy way to find out everything..." he told her, which made her raise her head hopefully. She looked at Jason with her big brown eyes.
"Do you want to know how?"
(Do you know da way? )
She nodded. And looked on as what she could only describe as an evil smile appeared across Jason's face. He then lowered his head and softly whispered into her ear.
"Kiss me"
"..."

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
