《Fun and magic》Chapter 10-In the train

On a certain train, in a certain compartment. If you were curious enough to peek inside, you would find a messy haired boy, lazing with his back against the window, with an assortment of sweets in front of him. On his nose you would find a clothes pin, which didn't seem to bother the boy that much.
This boy was obviously Jason. When he got to King's cross, his parents were first nervous about the odd platform number. But he obviously knew where it was, well not precisely. It took a lot of hand-hitting-walls action. In the end he found it though, and saying goodbye to his parents, and with them repeatedly warning him not to cause too much trouble, he went straight in and occupied a whole compartment to himself.
How did he do it you ask? Well he had cast a particular nasty spell, everytime someone opened the door, an unbearable stench would hit them, urging them to immediately move on to the next compartment. The spell was particularly easy to cast. All Jason had to do was say the magic words.
"Dirty toilets
And compost hell.
Oh my god!
What's that smell! "
An original of course. He found it particularly easy to make up spells, all he had to do was rhyme some, and voilà!
Only basic spells though, he had wanted to practice more, but he couldn't cast spells at home, so he could only stuff his head full of theoretical knowledge. He had read all his magic books already, well all those that interested him at least. Hogwarts: a History was directly skipped.
So here he was, with a clothes pin to block the smell. He had a bit of trouble though, every time he ate something, he couldn't breathe through his mouth, so he had to take the pin off, but after the second time he got so disgusted that he refused to eat. So now he could only wait...

And his wait was indeed worth it. Jason suddenly saw a person standing in front of his compartment. Black hair covering his forehead, with round rimmed glasses...
It was Harry.
And when Harry saw the lazy looking boy in the compartment, he got so excited that he threw the door open before Jason could warn him.
"Jason! You're he- What's that smell !" Harry reeled backwards as fast as he could, with his hand covering his nose, and a disgusted look on his face.
Jason wanted to laugh, but he didn't want too much of the stuff going into his mouth, so he just smiled, and in front of Harry's eyes he pulled out his wand and said.
"Mayonnaise and mustard.
Go away you bastard!"
A green gas, that only he could see immediately got sucked into his wand, taking the awful smell with it.
Uncovering his nose, and noticing the smell was gone, Harry went into the compartment and exclaimed.
"Jason, isn't that the stick you always carry with you, was it a wand all this time? And what's that spell you casted? And what was that godawful smell...."
He shot off questions like a six shooter, overwhelming the now nose breathing Jason.
"Wait, wait, wait. I'll explain everything now just calm down."
"Oh sorry, I just got excited there." Harry said embarrassedly.
"It's fine, well then, where to start. Ok got it, now you see..."
Jason proceeded to explain everything that happened to him while Harry was gone, the speaking to animals, the scene at Ollivanders and even about the wand. Harry just listened, amazed at Jason's adventures, and also a little regret, that he wasn't there to experience it with him. When Jason got to where he made up his own spell, Harry excitedly asked Jason to teach him, which he gladly agreed to.

When Jason was finished, he asked Harry about what happened to him while he was gone. Harry gladly started explaining. Though in the middle of their talk they got interrupted.
"Excuse me, all the other's are full, can i sit here?"
A red haired boy was standing at their compartment door, looking at them pitifully , but with a bit of hope in his eyes. Jason looked at the boy and immediately knew who it was, Ron Weasley.
Harry also looked at the boy, and when he recognized him, he cheerfully agreed. Jason didn't have a problem either, he knew Ron was Harry's best friend in the movies, so he didn't mind. Jason was a curious person, he liked to wander and explore, so someone who could keep Harry busy while he was gone, or busy was welcome. He didn't want Harry to be lonely after all.
"Sure, there's enough space."
Jason's feet were still up on his side, but Harry sat upright, so there was obviously room for Ron. Seeing they agreed, Ron smiled cheerfully and went and sat next to Harry.
"I'm Ron by the way, Ron Weasley."
"Jason Riley, at your service." Jason replied in mock chivalry, which looked funny with a piece of chocolate stuffed in his mouth.
"I'm Harry, Harry Potter." Harry said.
When Harry said his name, Ron gawked, then wanted to ask something, but Jason quickly interrupted him.
"Yes, Yes, the scars' real. And no he's not taking autographs. " He said lazily
Harry just smiled, and Ron looked at Jason awkwardly. Jason's eyes were on Ron's pocket though, where a rat had stuck it's head out.
"Well Ronny, that's a nice rat you've got there." Jason said intriguingly.
Ron immediately perked up, and said to Jason and Harry.
"This here is scabbers, been in the family for a long time now.... " he was obviously excited about a topic to talk about, and with that start, he also found other topics.
Jason just glanced at Scabbers for a second, then ignored him. He obviously knew who the rat was. But he couldn't do anything now. He hadn't learned enough spells yet, and he didn't want to put Harry and Ron in unnecessary danger.
Though, when I'm strong enough, I'm making ratatouille. He thought maliciously.(There's not even rat in there - AN)
When the three were talking, and the situation was fairly harmonious, what with Jason sharing his snacks, and teaching them a few of his spells, a voice interrupted them once again.
"Has anyone seen a toad, a boy named Nev-"
But when the person speaking saw Jason, she immediately stopped her previous sentence and screamed while pointing a finger at him.
"It's you!"
Dammit, i forgot about this witch, Jason thought bitterly.
It was obviously Hermione.
Here to bust my balls again

Trying for a slower build to power for the MC, so don't expect him to have cheat powers. I delight in helpful crticism so no holding back plz.
8 187The Edgars
A serial killer is wreaking havoc in a small European village, and Charles Edgar believes his estranged brother to be the culprit. But little does he know that a much darker truth lies behind the bloodshed; one that will bring betrayal and destruction to the entire Edgar lineage. (This is a one-act play. A (beat) indicates a pause in the dialogue.) Also, please feel free to rip this story apart in the reviews (if you're so inclined). I really want to improve as a writer, so any criticisms are more than welcomed.

8 155A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
