《Fun and magic》Chapter 1-Chicken wings

Jason Riley was playing with his stick in
the yard.
"Hey Narrator, fix that sus sentence," Jason yelled stupidly into the air. He had always been an odd child .
"Your mother's odd," again, but this time he just looked dumb.
"Your moth-"
"...."
Jason Riley was playing with his stick in the yard, it was no ordinary stick though. It was as white as snow with beautiful branch like engravings carved on it, and about 10 inches long with an odd handle at the end.
He always felt it looked familiar, it had been with him since he was born. If he closed his eyes he could see it, and feel it, deep inside of him. All he had to do was will it, and it would appear.
That was normal to him, weird things. He knew he was different, he could pull and push things without touching them, and when he cried as a baby, furniture would always revolve around the room.
But he never questioned his abilities(neither did his parents, which he did find weird) , he just thought he was psychic.
"Your thoughts are optimistically stupid, you could've been the spawn of satan you know. " (Narrator)
"The thought has crossed my mind, but then i realized. I'm just too handsome to be a demon." (Jason, smiling smugly at himself in the mirror at the age of 2.)
"..." (Narrator)
So all he did as he grew older was learn how to control it.
You see Jason knew he didn't belong here, he had been reincarnated, and with all his previous memories intact. In his previous life, he had died from a freak accident(Falling from a cliff, right into the branches of an old ugly tree). He died on impact.
So imagine how surprised he was when he found himself crying in the arms of a beautiful young woman(he calls her mom now).

When he couldn't move on his own yet(baby limbs are useless-Jason), he always stared at the "stick" in his mind, and when he turned 2, he could summon it into his hand(he played conductor with his teddies).
Then at 6, he finally knew what this "stick" was. When he was climbing the tree in his front yard (he always loved trees), he saw a scrawny, black haired boy sleeping on the neighbors grass. The boy had round rimmed glasses on his face, and clothes that were way too big for him, with an odd shaped scar on his forehead.
It all came to him then, he started trembling in excitement. Jason knew exactly who the boy was, where he was, and what his "stick" was. It wasn't a stick, it was a wand.
And This was the Ha-
"I'm in Harry Potter bitches!" he screamed, standing up on the branch he was sitting on and waking Harry, who looked at him curiously.
In all Jason's excitement, he forgot that he was still in a tree, the branch couldn't take his weight anymore. It broke, Jason flapped his arms wildy as he fell.
"All the flapping in the world wouldn't turn you into a bird. "(Narrator)
When he hit the ground, the last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was Harry, looking over him just as curiously, but also with a hint of worry in his eyes.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
