Consciousness slowly embraced her lifeless body. Her eyes fluttered open to a void darkness. She tried to move her head so as to look around but was unable. Feeling her arms and legs awaken, she tried them too but none would budge. Panic stricken, she started trembling violently but only in her mind. The inability to scream out her agony brought to her a fear she had not experienced before. Her heart pounded and thumped like a war drum.
What is Happening? Where? How? Who? Legs? When? Move!
Thoughts danced like drunken clowns, leaving no room for any sense to manifest. And then she saw it... or thought it, whichever. It was a light. A light so bright it cleared her mind and washed away her fear. With the light came memories long forgotten and a power that slumbered awoke.
They will all pay for this!
