Let's say, for the sake of an argument, there was a story about a man who, I suppose, protected something. Hypothetically, this story saw a decent rise in popularity and was doing fairly well for itself.
Now, let's say the story started taking a downturn in views, follows, and general happiness from its reader base. Would you, a hypothetical reader of this story, find more enjoyment in a more thought out rewrite or prefer the author to just keep writing as he or she is?
A reminder that this is a completely hypothetical problem that in no way has any relation to this story at all and will likely not affect this story unless the majority of you say you prefer a rewrite whatsoever.
