《Re:Direction The Peak (Cultivation Tale)》CH. 218

He asked her what she meant and she began to explain things to him about this place: "You probably don't know much about this remnant sanctuary and the other rooms, right? Well, here's the thing. You can consider it as multiple spaces existing at the same time in parallel. I know that it is something complex and far beyond your understanding but you have to acknowledge it. You champions are dueling against one another in this same space at the same time and we, remnants, are watching all the fights at the same time"
Jin didn't get how it was possible. But then again, there were many wonders beyond his reach in this world. He learnt that long ago. If she said that all battles happened at the same time and the same space yet not, well, he would believe her. She was the expert.
Since he didn't interrupt or question her, she continued: "As such, I know the other champions. And what they use to fight"
Jin had a sudden idea and wanted to confirm it: "Are you going to tell me who they are as well as their weaknesses?"
She shook her head at his foolishness: "Do you think it would truly help? Any of them might be receiving teachings like you are at the moment for whatever reasons other remnants might have had. Even if they did not, and I admit that you might be able to make use of such information, is it worth wasting our time? We don't have much of it and it is better to aim for you to grow than learn what makes them weak. True power will always triumph, don't you agree?"
He nodded.
She went on: "Anyways, the point is that I know what they use. Their equipments. And there is one in particular that would make jumping into the chaotic space feasible"

He understood what she was trying to say. In order for him to survive, he would need to reach the final, he would have to find one of the champion's items and he would have to jump down while using it.
That was really... How to express it... Tough. That's what Jin felt after understanding what she expected him to do and what he would need to do to survive.
She told him: "The item you have to get is called The Gourd of Evil Sealing. That's what its owner called it here at least. I don't recall such an item myself so it must have been created after me. Anyways, it has a very useful power. In exchange for a small price, it can create a near-perfect seal. It is at the very least powerful enough to resist the chaotic space. As a grade 6 treasure like your spear, it is quite strong. You will have to seal yourself mid-jump so that you enter the chaotic space in a sealed state"
He stopped her: "Wait. What is that price? And how do I even break out of the seal later? And once I'm in the chaotic space, then what?"
She chuckled: "That's a lot of questions but they are important. The price to pay is life. It will be asking you to sacrifice some lifespan. But then again, what's a few years to pay to dodge death? As for the seal, you will only be able to break it after exiting the chaotic space if you don't want to die inside it. As long as you have the gourd, you can always recall the seal. Once inside the seal, you will still be alive and conscious. Only your movement will be restricted to the inside of the seal. It means you will still be able to act so don't worry"

He questioned: "Can it seal itself?"
She nodded. Then, she continued: "It can. The real problem will be to direct yourself while in the chaotic space. To be honest, I don't know what will happen inside and where it will send you. I know that it will push you out and you will exit somewhere. As for where and when, it is up to fate. But I have confidence that as long as you are sealed, there won't be any risks to your life"
He snickered: "Easy to say. You're not the one risking yours. Don't you have a better option for me?"
She spat back: "Well, do you have a better option?"
He shut up. He did not. That was the truth. He sighed and gave up this argument. Instead, he asked: "What if I can't get my hands on that gourd? Or it can't seal itself?"
She answered him seriously: "It can seal itself, trust me on that. As for the scenario in which you don't get your hands on it...You will die"
He sighed. So, this was it. His fate was up to whether he found that gourd in the first place. There were no other options. He asked her: "What does it look like and who has it?"
She told him: "A male cultivator has it. He's easy to recognize due to wearing a long dark robe picturing white ghosts. He's got a good sword too, you should try to get that too while at it. As for the gourd, it has the same appearance as any other gourd. This one is brown with a red string attached at its mid-section. You won't miss it if you encounter it, don't worry"
He nodded.
She decided to tell him about what came after his escape: "Once you have safely exited the chaotic space, you should head over to the Bescal Continent"
He interjected: "Isn't that the worst place to cultivate in this world?"
She nodded and added: "And the safest due to that. If you want to stay low-key while reviving me, this is where you need to go. And you better hide your corruption after exiting this sacred area. Regardless of where you will go, this will make you a pariah"
He looked once more at his right arm and wondered whether it might be better to just amputate if he ever escaped The Peak...

Mana World - Convergence
The story is complete it was a prototype and it is BAD.I do not recommend reading it, I will not edit it in any form, it is still here as a personal remained of how bad I was at the start. Mages are soo cool but without mana you can't become a mage. Well let's see how we can get mana to this world. I'm sure it would be a perfectly safe and excellent idea. First try at writing something like this. Dunno if I will update constantly or not, dunno what will happen with the story and the characters. Recipe: 3 cubic meters of science, 5 shit tons of pseudo science, 2 dantians of mistycism,1/2 cup of stupid references, 1 package of sarcasm, 1/400 tolkien epicness, 1 tea spoon of stupid commentaries, a pinch of craziness and dressed with randomness, uppps, too much randomness. Accepting all kinds of constructive criticism. Well prologue is finished.
