[[On Hope]]
[Sir. The tectonic shifts have stopped. My scans reveal no more lving things within the area of the battlefield. Should I keep firing the MAC?]
Shaking his head violently, knocking the headache off, Palmer half-collapsed, supporting himself against the wall. He knew what he had just done. He knew it was him that ended the fight with the unplanned Antimatter missile. He was being controlled, and yet he couldn’t find anything to prove it. It seemed like he was the only one put under the spell as his officers were cheering at the success of the operation. But was it really a success? He wondered as he decided to make preparations for the landing party. The threat was now over and they could land safely on the planet.
Within a few hours, large bay doors opened on the underside of the belly, as 2 rows of 5 destroyer ships dropped from Hope and quickly entered into orbit next to hope. After quick calculations, the AI on board each destroyer began planning the descent through the atmosphere, carrying almost 2 million lives on board each ship.
[[Northern Isana province]]
The first round of Skill Transfer lasted over 10 days, with every titan passed out without knowing the outcome of the battle. When Isana awoke, she only had time to observe changes in her physical appearance before a second wave of agonising pain hit her. Why had Kiefer not trandported her to the same location as Sher and Feir? Was he trying to protect her, or was he confident in Sher and Feir handling Desir on their own?
Her 4 medium sized Wings were replaced with 2 large sturdy wings with talons on each end. He original coat of pure white scales showed a small hint of grey in them. She estimated her size to be larger than a mountain, probably inheriting the size attribute from Gondor. The most heartbreaking and tear wrenching features that crushed her heart, were the 2 rows of golden runes that ran along the length of her back. With that, she knew that her significant other was no more. She had inherited one of his traits.

As the mountainous Dragoness changed into her human form, tears rolled out the corners of her eyes and froze before they hit the ground. Her emerald eyes depicted such sorrow, pain and helplessness. The most powerful being in the world, and there she was wishing she could trade all her powers just to meet her loved one again.
As the second wave of skill transfer beset her, she hardly winced, enduring the pain while directing her hatred to the skies. She knew who was to blame for the death of her one and only. Those puny non-magic wielding hairless apes in their metallic container high above the world’s sky. Had they not disregarded Kiefer’s plans and fire the antimatter missile without warning, Kiefer might have been able to get away in time. She could have easily sacrificed her clones to temporarily trap Gondor in ice while she escaped with Kii to a safe zone.
“Humans. They are untrustworthy, and selfish. Cunning, crafty and greedy. Once they land on Aioa, I shall obliterate them.” Isana thought as she finally succumbed to the increasing pain that changed her body once more. What she did not know was that the majority of the civilians and crew from hope had already landed on the carcass of Gondor during the time she was passed out.
Another week flew by during their conscious state before Sher awoke, weary from the battle with her brother and aching from the skill transfer. She was now jet black like her brother, with the drastically contrasting white wings. She instantly melded into the shadows of the night, racing through the forest to the north, hoping to find her sister. Feir copied her, also blending into the darkness and following Sher to regroup.
They both knew Kiefer was no more. Their master died, sacrificing himself to protect them. Never before as anyone given up their lives to defend a titan, after all, why would a titan need protection? Nonetheless, it happened and Kiefer is dead. Sher knew it in her heart, for her hexagram skill had transformed. She knew she could summon multiple hexagram runes to form a dome similar to Kiefer’s dome shield. That was the parting gift her master left her.

Isana studied her own skills. She cried, mourning the loss of her partner. Every new skill she inherited reminded her of him and his sacrifice. Her father had sent this man to her, and he delivered on his promise, protecting her to the end, and eliminating Gondor, ultimately seeking revenge for her sister.
The runes on her back glowed as billions of tiny golden threads extended. The colour of his eyes, it was so beautifully sad, yet brilliantly shining under the weak moonlight. Due to her soul link with Kiefer, she inherited all of his skills, finally understanding what he felt when manipulating mana. It was unlike any skill she had, being able move, feel and control every single mana particle that radiated from her body.
The lonesome dragon looked towards the moons and watched them in envy. Even they had a partner while she was left alone once again, to endure the eternity of time alone. She could sense Sher and Feir heading her way, the mana pulse telling her the exact location of every living thing with mana. Letting out a long mournful howl, Isana curled up into a ball, crying and reminiscing about Kiefer. It would never be the same again. The time she spent with him was but a blink compared to her lifespan, but he had changed her life forever with his appearance, and now, his disappearance.
“I love you.”
Those were his last words to her. She kept repeating it in her head, praying, hoping that his voice would stay with her forever.
So my brother whom i just found out reads my fiction come to me and says. "Game of Thrones much?"

Path of Boundless Adventure
When Mana flooded back to Earth after billions of years, most felt lost in the new world. Some managed to adapt. For Michael, he felt like he'd finally found his path. Follow him as he fights monsters, explores new lands and most of all, seeks adventure. This is my first novel, never written anything before, so please be kind and patient with me, I'm doing my best. A more light-hearted post-apocalyptic novel with large amounts of game elements. MC has a unique advantage but is not massively overpowered and there's more of a focus on exploring and discovering new things rather than defeating a series of arch-nemesis' or building an empire.
