《Kenosis of the Light Bearer》Chapter 27 - Giant Colony Ship

A loud alarm rang as it passed through the entire ISTC.
“Weeeeehhhh”
It was a long and annoying sound that was almost impossible not to hear, it was obviously a warning alarm.
All the hovercrafts that were flying around quickly flew to the ground and landed in the blink of an eye. No one dared to dawdle as it was a very serious matter. If they didn’t land right away they would be risking their lives and this was not just an exaggeration. Not more than 10 minutes later the earth started to shake slightly. The slight shaking grew into tremors which increased as time went by. It felt like a soft earthquake.
Space started to twist and turn inside the force field surrounding the giant hole. The force field increased its amount of power tremendously. The color turned from a mildly translucent white barrier to a dark violet before it lit up in a bright splendor. Various patterns appeared on the force field, they were all 0’s and 1’s. They seemed to be sending information across the barrier but it spread passed the barrier and wrapped the entire station in its code.
The space that was twisting started ripping apart and more and more space was sucked into the nothingness of the twisting space. Even the force field started to tremble as it was forcefully sucked into the twisting space, but even more power was pushed into the barrier and it resisted against the twisting space.
The suction force of the twisting space was so powerful that even light couldn’t escape its grasp. The light slowly got sucked away into the twisting spatial crack creating an unfathomable darkness. It was so dark that the entire giant square looked like a flat piece of paper because no light was being reflected at all.

A small pink dot spurred into being and it grew larger and larger until it was a few hundred meters long. The pink dot seemed to be a tunnel that stretched on for all eternity. Tens and thousands of people started lining up outside the guard rail holding their bags looking excited.
“It’s coming!” They yelled.
“What’s coming?” Lucif felt his heart start speeding up as he looked ahead, “Is.. Is that a bloody wormhole?”
Scientist had often talked about the plausibility of opening wormholes in his own world but it was such a far off dream and wouldn’t ever be realized in his own life time. To live in an age where it was possible to open a wormhole was completely mind boggling to him.
A giant ship started making its way through the swirling pink wormhole as it squeezed through space. Its giant front slowly moved towards the giant hole in the earth. This hole was cut deep into the earth specifically for this purpose. It was a giant docking bay for the giant colony spaceship.
The pink wormhole closed and faded into obscurity, the uncomfortable darkness vanished and the force field surrounding the ship vanished.
“Step away from the guard rails, I repeat step away from the guard rails.”
The excited passengers quickly stepped away from the rails as the ground started to rumble once again. This rumbling originated from the walls inside the giant hole and not the ship itself. Dust and debris spread out as a dust cloud rose from the hole. Huge claws slowly reached out from the walls and locked onto the gigantic space ship, stably holding it in place. There were hundreds of these claws, all gigantic and powerful pieces of machinery.
The three of them gasped, but the other spectators didn’t seem too shocked. This wasn’t a scene that was unfamiliar to them.

The ship was so gigantic that Lucif couldn’t even find the words to describe it. He had never seen anything this large in his life. When he thought about the time he purchased the largest cruise ship in the world, the Queen Mary XII, he felt embarrassed. Because in comparison, this spaceship right in front of him clearly dwarfed his by many times.
It was two kilometers wide, six kilometers high and 20 kilometers long. It filled up the giant hole perfectly. The robot arms in the side of the giant docking bay started cleaning the ship and pulling out old pieces of metal and replacing it with new pieces.
This ship was incredible. 3000 stories high, over 25 million residents and could house upwards of 100 million. It had stadiums, fields, parks, schools, movie theatres and even public transportation through the different levels.
It was simply a city on the move. Some could even consider it a small country. Lucif was feeling impressed by this beautiful piece of engineering and science but then he saw, plastered in gigantic letters on the side of the space ship ‘Aregatta Colony’.
Lucif clenched his fist in anger, ‘Tsk, so it’s them again….The bastards from the United Colonies Association, they are the ones who own this.’
His anger had dissipated a lot since he carried out his slaughter but it hadn’t completely died off. He was a very unforgiving person. The UCA could be considered the most powerful force in the Universe and his biggest enemy. In fact these ships were the reason they were called the UCA. Each ship represented one of their many colonies, in total there were over 2000 of these mega transport ships meaning over 2000 colonies. Some ships had 10 million and others housed 100 million. Just from numbers alone it was easy to see what kind of power they held.
Thousands and thousands of people got off the spaceship, many of them were heading straight towards the ticket office at high speed.
Lucif, Aruna and Ambrosia were oblivious to the crowds of people heading right towards the ticket office because they were too busy marveling at the ship. They turned around after closing their gaping mouths and started to chat.
“We’ve been walking for an hour. Where are we supposed to go?”
“I’m not sure either, let’s ask one of these people running around.”
Lucif saw a girl running towards him so he quickly stopped her before she madly made a dash towards the ticket office, “Yes, what is it?”
“Excuse me, sorry for bothering you but do you know where we purchase our tickets from?”
“Ah, tickets? That’s all you want? Just follow me, hurry.”
