So, to make a longer version of what I've covered so far... is that I thought I could manage two books at once and I was wrong. I didn't realise just how much I'd planned out for both of them, and when I finally caught up to my planning stages I found it hard to keep going. I didn't realise that the time I was using to write my second book was time I wasn't using to plan my original book because it'd been planned so long and I had previously been writing plenty of extra chapters for it. When I suddenly ran out of planned content for both it was a struggle.

Added onto that, I ended up sick for about a week and a half around this time as well, and I didn't want to admit yet that I'd bitten of more than I could chew so I just put off making this announcement, saying that I'd get back to it once things had settled down. They didn't ever really reach that point though, and so here we are.

Now, before I go too far into other things, I will say, I still like this book, and in the future I plan to come back to it once D.E.M.O.N.S is finished. This will still be my second book though maybe some rewriting will be done to cover the first few chapters I'm not sure right now.

The other, compounding problem with this, is that it just wasn't quite as sucsessful as I'd envisioned. Now, some of this is my fault, in fact, perhaps a lot of it was, but this story wasn't very popular and it never really started to make me any money either (which is fine, but when my other book IS making me money I have to put that one first) so I wasn't as motivated to try and force myself to keep going. That combined with how much longer it took me to write chapters for this book, (probably because I'm just more used to the other world I'd written) and it was hard to put aside the time for Needlework.

Thanks for reading to this point. I've had quite a few nice interactions, and as I said, this story isn't completely dead, I'm still writing, just not this. I have plans for this universe I haven't given up on. I have characters I want to introduce, I have a lot of cool things for it, but they probably won't see the light of day any time soon. A year or more perhaps? Currently I plan to make sure that when I come back to this story I have at least a month's worth of content for everyone so that I won't just come back for a chapter then leave again.
