Thread Control.
The ability to control and manipulate all kinds of thread from a distance using mana.
Sui licked her lips. Now this… this is something I can work with. Sui’s mind was practically bursting with ideas, before her thought process ground entirely to a halt.
Wait. There are still more. They might be even better. I have to look through them and evaluate which will be better, otherwise I’m burning time not using the best ability… though I find it hard to believe anything could be better than Thread Control
Sui quickly scanned the next line under thread control
Choking Hazard (Thread)
Thread used to bind the target will slowly leach the oxygen from their veins
Useless
Cutting it Close (Thread)
All Thread the user holds gains increased sharpness and durability
Useless
Blood Red Thread
All Thread the user holds gains the ability to prevent clotting and increase blood flow from targets
Sui was now furrowing her brows at the entry, as she scanned the next few entries with similar effects. Bits and pieces of completely useless junk that wasn’t going to be useful to her at all until
Thread Creation
The ability to create low quality thread temporarily
Sui’s eyes widened as her mind once again started to go wild with the possibilities until shuddering to a grinder halt as she read ‘temporarily’. Sui bit her lip. Hmm, that isn’t really useful at all then. Well I guess if I had all the other garbage perhaps always having thread on hand would be nice
But seriously if it’s temporary and low quality to boot, what the heck is even the point?
Sui looked to Ito Like really, who would ever take this?
Ito pointed as many legs as she could, and that number was five, at Sui ‘You’
“Well, ok look I mean… ok maybe” said Sui “But only if that thread control wasn’t around”
Ito crossed her front legs ‘You can probably improve it you know’
Sui tilted her head “What makes you say that”
Ito mimed scrolling up and Sui did so until Ito stopped and she was looking at the locked entry again. Ok… fair point maybe? I mean why wouldn’t I be a skilled tailor though. Collecting tailoring skills is really different from creating thread from nothing.

Ito pointed to one spot then another ‘potato, potaato’
“Ok look fine, whatever, you take it then” said Sui pressing on the ability and then selecting Ito’s name
Thread Creation assigned to Ito
Special interaction with species, Lesser Soulweaver Spider
Thread Creation is now Spider Thread Creation
Spider Thread Creation
May use mana to generate spider silk of any type temporarily with mana or permanently with stamina
Sui glared at her spider companion “Ok just because that worked perfectly doesn’t mean that you were right”
Ito pointed two legs left and one leg right ‘Less complaining more picking abilities’
Sui nodded, my spider that may or may not be able to talk is right. Sui kept scrolling to check for any other related abilities but found nothing of interest, just a bunch of common ranked abilities most of which she was locked out of because her skill level was too high.
Selecting Thread Control she felt a strange wave wash over her, like a bucket of cold ice water only it was more like she was dumped in a bucket of needles, soft needles, but still distinctly needles.
Once the feeling had passed Sui realised, she’d gained a lot more than she’d bargained for with that ability. She could now the fibres that made up her clothing and just vaguely the fishing line on her arm, as if it was in the dark, compared to the ‘bright’ cloth that made up her clothes.
Sui’s grin grew wider, as she started messing with it. Pulling and tugging on each thread that seemed to make up her garment. She could feel them all together and if she really bent her mind to it felt like she could control the whole thing
Sui took a deep breath in and revelled in this new sense. This changes everything. Fuck thread control, the AWARENESS alone is worth whatever dumb point this should have cost me
Sui was starting to practically vibrate on the spot and you could nearly see steam leaking out of her ears as her brain thought at a million miles an hour. This gives me such an instinctual feeling of where my thread is and in what condition
Just this small boon is well worth whatever hell this system might want to put me through. Hell I’d challenge god himself for this ability.

Ito shook her head ‘Don’t bring bad luck down on us’
Sui shrugged. I didn’t say I’d win, just that I’d challenge them. This is such a game changer Ito, watch.
Sui started to concentrate lightly and let the cloth in her outfit move under her touch. She let it unwound itself as she spread her influence throughout her entire outfit. Letting it wind and snake across her hands she started to allow it to float in front of her.
The moment she did though a wave of fatigue crashed into her, causing her to stumble and drop her control. This also meant that her now free flowing outfit was able to freely flow into a bunch of random thread as it fell apart and left her naked.
Sui didn’t even bat an eyelid though as she started to examine what went wrong. What was that… was it the lifting? Sui tried to picture the exact moment her power failed her, and found that it wasn’t quite when she started lifting the thread it was just a moment after.
So is it draining to have my thread flying around? Sui tried to call up the loose thread surrounding her when another wave of fatigue crashed over her forcing her to the ground. This wasn’t enough to deter her however
Sui’s concentration seared her mind as she focused everything on the single piece of thread she tried to lift. The thread managed to keep itself aloft. Sui strained against the wear she felt herself to be inflicting on her mind, raising the thread ever higher, millimetre by millimetre
Until Ito punched her in the face. Sui instantly collapsed, the thread collapsed and Sui now had a new dislike for grass as she felt it rub against her. At least she had the ware withal to not manipulate her underwear. Yup, totally planned and not the result of focusing on the first bunch of thread she could reach.
Ugh Sui tried to refocus herself but found her mind was uncooperative. Her thoughts were trying to get away from her, but as the words ‘thread control’ drifted through her psych, she latched on like a man on the edge of a cliff.
Putting her entire mind to keeping the words in place Sui slowly felt her mind stabilising. She was still tired, and her thoughts were floaty, but she wasn’t about to pass out either. Sui stumbled to her feet and looked at the remains of her clothes.
Hehehe, thread… I wanna… Um, I… hmmm Sui’s mind screamed thread control… but there was something bad about that idea. Hmmm, hmm, no, not… but yes? Yes. Sui was about to reach out with her power again before Ito summoned some thread and used it to slap her face.
Sui’s head shook stunned. Her eyes focused on the spider now on her shoulder holding a bunch of thread in its mandibles that looked like a tiny whip. “How… how um, did ya do that?” mumbled Sui
Ito refused to answer and pointed to the house ‘You need to sleep’
“Na, uh, I need to make something cool with this power” said Sui “So many ideaz”
Ito slapped Sui with the thread again. It didn’t hurt, but to see such beautiful thread attacking her wounder Sui’s heart… or so her weakened mind told her “So rude, how could you misses, your thread like thawt”
Ito tilted her head to the side to raise the ‘whip again’
Sui pouted but relented stumbling back towards the house. Ito was just congratulating herself on a job well done when Sui managed to hit the curb on the back door of the house. Sui didn’t even make an attempt to stop herself.
“Weeeee” said Sui as she hurtled towards the ground. Ito managed to get some thread around the door and into Sui’s skin as she fell pulling the door shut and slamming it into her face, but saving her from smashing directly into the hard floor.
The thread started to slowly pull itself out of her body as she tried to use the last dregs of her thread control to influence it. Ito quickly pulled the thread out allowing Sui to carefully drop down to the ground where she passed in the doorway.
Ito shrugged ‘Guess this count as sleeping inside’ and crawled back under Sui’s skin for her own nap. She’d earned it after all.

I understand fully this story isn't for everyone as after all I am writing is still improving and that the story can get quite disturbing and gory at times. WARNING: despite the slow beginning does become very violent and gory as the story goes on. Images I have originally made are used in the stories, I also have a Wattpad where I upload only the images. Also a friend said it was a good idea to also upload this on Scribble Hub. Also, have exclusive stories I upload only on deviant art. Sometimes. When I remember.
