《Candor: The Forgotten House》Update/Note

Sorry for not updating very often. I have been busy with real-life obligations and had another seizure. So I’ve been seeing doctors and all the fun that goes with it. But there is another reason for why I have not been posting as much. It has to do with editing and rewriting earlier chapters.
Everything I have posted so far is a first draft. This is my first story of any length and normally I write down what I am thinking before the thought leaves. The intention was always to go back and edit the story at a later date. The reason for this is because I intend on publishing an eBook eventually.
I have taken some of the criticism of the story, which I asked for, and some of it is very good. I’d like to address the POV changes and some of the inconsistencies with that. The main reason for it is I was trying to decide on how I wanted the story to be told, so I experimented with a few styles.
I have finally decided on the style I want and will be going through the rewrite and future chapters in that manner. The story will essentially be told in the first person narrator voice when looking at the world through Jayce’s eyes. At first this style seemed a little awkward to me, but it gives a bit of freedom with some of the things I want to do.
For the other characters within the story, the world will be seen in the third person limited voice. This will make things a little bit less intimate, but it makes it easier and more consistent when dealing with a large cast of characters. It is also great for adding more details into the world, which I am doing in the rewrite.

As for the overall theme of the book. This is meant to be a 3-part saga following Jayce and his struggles during a very hectic time in the world. Right now we are only in the introductory part. Jayce is not on some quest for adventure where he goes diving into dungeons for great wealth, nor is he searching for earth shaking beauties while making every man jealous.
Sometimes the story may seem a little bloated, and that is because it is in some parts. It is a draft. Some things will be edited out and somethings will be added in the rewrite. I would rather have additional material to edit out than not write something because it may not seem very relevant or necessary to the story.
Right now he is trying to survive and decide what he wants to do with his life. I think fantasy stories, especially Japanese and Chinese novels, create these extremely unrealistic teenagers that know everything. Somehow they become experts in all topics while playing video games.
Also, I created a twitter account a little while ago to keep things updated on any stories I write. Not everything I work on is posted to RRL so I may comment on there about it. I actually made my first tweet not long ago. I’m not going to be using that to spew political beliefs or anything like that, it’s just for writing updates and thoughts based around writing.

Destinatus
Volume 1: Follows the story of an amnesiac named Gratus whose narrative reflects the fragmentation in his mind. His journey to restore his memories pits him against monsters and questionable allies that seem to want him dead. Volume 2: Prequel to volume 1 that follows Cogito's narrative, a rising star that is tied to a family legacy he cannot escape. Connects the fragments in volume 1 and expands on the world of Dominia. **Author’s Note: Cover Art and Synopsis is subject to change. I just wanted to post my story here to get feedback and improve it, so it’s okay to be brutally honest! What I am posting is a rough draft so I don't mind rewritting whole chapters and segments of stories as long as it doesn't make the story worse haha. **Author’s Note: LitRPG elements begins in Volume 2, same with potentially traumatising content.
