“Lucas! Where do you keep disappearing to!?”

I sighed and diverted the topic.

Eu went silence at first before sighing as well.

“I don’t know...”

“Why not become the Demon Queen then?”

“But...will they even listen to me?”

Well, since she wanted to know, I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t. The only reason why I hesitated earlier was because I feared that it will only bring her painful memories and that it might be better for her not to know.

I sighed and told her what Senea told me.

After finishing, Eu’s legs weakened as she sat on the ground directly.

The people around us gave us curious gazes but didn’t last long as they went with their businesses.

I had temporarily made an illusion spirit formation array on Eu’s head to hide her horns so to the other people’s eyes, she was just a very beautiful human.

Henry kept laughing like some next door uncle as he lead us to a secret room behind the throne.

The room was a simple sized room with various equipments and materials that looked like those you see in museums or movies.

“Eh? Eh? Father, what’s happening? What’s this room? How come I’ve never known about it?”

“Hoho, my dear child, it’s time you know your true origin.”

After making sure that the door is closed, Henry closed his eyes and opened them again.

However, what appeared wasn’t the eyes of a human at all. His eyes were completely shining with golden light. There are no irises or whites at all. Just gold.

He then began to release a divine-like aura around him and his royal clothes fluttered and turned into a white garb that felt divine.

Seeing him like this, a faint suppression can be felt in my heart. As if it’s natural for me to bow to him.

This only lasted for a second until he retracted that aura.

“Hoho, as a god, our auras are naturally dominant to mortals so we would always have them retracted like this in normal times. Otherwise, mortals wouldn’t be able to stand up at all.”

I see...come to think of it, I didn’t feel this way when I met Senea. She must’ve already retracted it before I came. Her eyes were normal at that time too.

As I thought of that, Henry’s eyes also became normal.

Aleris smiled as she nodded.

I turned towards Eu and saw her sad face. She must’ve been jealous of such parental love from Aleris’ god parent.

I patted her back and smiled.

“I’m sure your mother is also proud of you.”

Henry heard us and also sighed in melancholy.

“Your mother...child, Lucas is right. She is definitely proud of the woman you have become.”

Eu’s body shook as she heard that.

I smiled wryly, thinking that Henry’s encouragement would most likely have more weight than mine.

“R-really? I...they used my power...the gift my mother left behind...and murdered thousands of people!”

“That isn’t your fault. Don’t worry. I know your mother, if she were to be here now, she will also say the same words.”

Henry smiled and reached out his hand and touched Eu’s forehead.

“He’s showing her a memory of her mother.”

She was quiet for a while then walked beside Eu and hugged her.

“Even though you’re a demon, you are also like me, a demigod. From now on, we will be sisters!”

“...R-really? Can I be...your sister?”

“Of course!”

Watching the two hug each other, I immediately abandoned my initial plan.

No matter what, I can’t possibly separate this two now, can I?

To begin with, it was wrong for me to involve other people. I’ll solve my own problem...this is how it should be. Regardless of my choice being controlled or not, this is my choice!

I glanced towards Henry as if to silently convey my thoughts.
