《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 3: Finally Some Training

It was morning and the sun slowly rose. It was summer right now on earth. And one could already at early hours hear the birds chirping and singing their songs of beautiful bliss.
But from time to time one could hear the sounds of Dinosaurs roaring. It was really weird at the start to get used to the environmental differences of this new earth.
Nonetheless, Darc was lying in his bed, sleeping soundly without a care in the world and even snoring a little bit. Bad habits die hard and they were strong in his old life.
He slept really comfortably until something happened that is. The mad sun woke him up again with it shining on his face through the damn window.
Worse, there were no curtains here. Only a potted flower on the windowsill.
It became official. Just like an old nemesis, it was always hunting him. Could Roshi not just destroy the damn sun instead of the moon later on?
He instantly breathed calmer after feeling the sunshine on his face and stopped snoring.
He opened his drowsy eyes and turned his face away into the direction of his clock. The thing about his nemesis at least had one good point.
He would always be awake pretty early as soon it became somewhat bright.
It was time to wake up anyways. Today was exactly the same day at which he transferred to this world - June 13th.
It also now meant something else. Today was his birthday and his mother wants to celebrate it.
Internally he was already a middle-aged man that slowly arrived at his 40´s
and wasn't so thrilled about celebrating a day like any other but in the end, he had no real choice whatsoever.
He was now 4 years of age in this world. A milestone after going through so much mental humiliation in his toddler stage.
After reaching about 2.5 years he finally got ahold of a little bit of dignity and control of his doings.
And truth be told. His mother wasn't pleased after she noticed him trying to grasp more freedom and becoming more and more independent.
She pampered him a lot since Darc was still an only child.
It would have been different if he had siblings and sometimes he would secretly wish his parents would make out again so that his mother's attention falls to that said new sibling.

He still blushes at the thought of the things that happened to him. Burned deep in his brain as if branded with a hot iron.
---
After mustering his strength to waking up and doing all morning necessities he went downstairs to the kitchen.
The house was round like most of the buildings in this world.
At first, Darc thought there was very much wasted space because of the shape, but that proved to be wrong
They are surprisingly pretty comfy and have a good amount of space. It's like those economical small sleeping places.
Well, small is a relative word since these building can be pretty big as well.
Just an architectural difference.
Enough of that. His goal right now was the fridge and after arriving there his mother actually was already awake and noticed him taking some things.
"Dear, don't go just eating out of the fridge.", she said in a belittling tone behind me. She came closer to me and hugged me. All the while giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"Happy Birthday my little boy. Did you sleep well?"
Darc looked at her and grinned. He always kept an innocent face most of the time and acted childish to not alert his parents too much.
"Yup, but the sun woke me up" Darc answered sheepishly, blaming the sun for waking him up.
"Sleepyhead, this time the sun did something good to you, you know? Today is your special day after all" she laughed a little while saying that.
She knew very well that her son was sleeping a lot. Sometimes a little bit too much.
"Where is dad?" Darc asked her with upheld brows as if in wonder.
"He already went to work, dear. But don't worry. Today he will be back home earlier." she answered with a smile.
Darc looked at the ground for a little and then looked back up to her
"Hmm, okay!"
His response made the impression as if he was a little bit sad that his father was not at home already.
But then again it was pretty normal for his father to be gone at early hours since he is a major of a city.
Not one of the capitals major ones like west city but still a better one than most villages.

It was actually weird how this earth has so many diverse technological differences between each part of the world.
There are villages that seem so poor that they never saw civilization.
Or even some that still live in the feudal times.
No wonder beings like oolong can frighten a whole town to submission.
"Then I will go outside and play a little.", said Darc while rushing for the door to go outside
"Alright, but be careful and do not leave too far from the house, do you hear!? Be hear before noon for your celebration!!", reminded his mother and at the same time warned him not to be late.
"Yes, Mom!"
He wouldn't dare to go too far into the forest anyways since he would end up dead if he did. No matter how peaceful this earth was depicted in the Manga and Anime.
In reality, it was a far cry from being safe.
------
After going outside he went to a secluded clearing near the village that he found out about where there were one big tree and various stones in different sizes lying around.
It was finally time to do some workout. He delayed it so many times it was really nagging at his mind.
Well, he couldn't do anything about his body since it was still way too young and just would have shut down. But now that he was 4, he could start some light exercises.
What he did notice was also interesting. A human being in this world seems to be much more hardy than the ones from his previous life. Besides, pan also started training pretty early. True she may have 1/4 Sayan blood but that alone shouldn't really give her that much of an edge.
He stood in front of a stone and started to lift some weights with it.
When he was tired he would rest for about 5 minutes and start again.
He always tried to correct himself if he felt something was amiss and not right while doing the lifting. He had experience with that kind o training since he did it in his previous life.
But this time it is to ensure his life. And every effort needs to be made to the utmost perfection. That in mind he thought at first he would need to go through hell but weirdly enough the training seemed to go by pretty easy.
He thought maybe he didn't get enough weight or it was because of his extreme young body being able to take more beating.
But at the same time, he was pretty careful not to overdo it. The thing was that he really didn't feel anything wrong and that just his muscles got tired.
He did as many reps with the lifting as possible varying in weight until he was completely tired and exhausted.
He rested much longer after lying down from that exhaustion and thought that it was enough for the upper body and now the lower body had to be trained.
He chose to go into the horse stance and hold it as long as possible.
When it became wobbly he would start running after he was out of breath and his muscles in his legs started to churn.
"That's....enough.... for now.....huff....huff...."
He was now completely drained and needed to recover a little bit so that he can return back to his home and celebrate his birthday.
As he recalled he asked his father for a gi and membership in a dojo to learn a little bit about martial arts. Even if they are pretty basic ones.
Beggars can't be choosers
He wondered if his father would present this gift for him? After all, he always made remarks about martial arts being cool and that he wanted to become really strong.
Well, if he didn't it doesn't matter. Then he would have to make his own understanding of it.
While lying on the ground and looking to the sky he got into a little bit of a trance. He felt everything around him crystal clear as his exhausted body slowly breathed in and out.
It was a remarkable feeling that one could be addicted to.
