Choking on a Nintendo 3DS stylus pen, possibly one of the worst, if not ironic, ways to die for a gamer.
The "Hero" of our story, was met with this cruel fate.
After laying in bed doing nothing, having just completed the latest pokemon game to be released on his portable console, his name unimportant.
He pondered, will it ever change?
Or will it always be the same, reskinned kid-friendly game.
"Barely anybody who truly loves pokemon is anywhere near being a kid now-" He mused to himself as he chewed on the stylus.
When suddenly it fell through his teeth.
With a mixture of existing gravity, horrible timing as he rose in panic and impressive acrobatics by the stylus, It went straight down his air pipe.
Our "Hero" was choking.
Clutching his throat, trying to breathe but only making it worse.
His sister's loud music next door muffling his croaks for aid.
Not even allowed any last words.
Only a horrified expression as he fell off his bed and crawled towards his door.
Dead.
Our "Hero" is already dead.
The best way to begin, our story.
For as he opened his eyes once more, our "Hero" saw not his bedroom floor, nor door.
He found himself standing in a forest of bright green, with tall lush grass and a shadow looming over him...
He looked up, startled not by its sudden appearance but instead by its existence.
A giant fucking Pidgey had begun pecking at his slimy body...
Slimy body...
...
He realized as pieces of his body were ripped off by the ferocious bird, that he had misconceived its size.
The Pidgey, albeit still bloody tearing him to shreds, was normal size.
It was he who had become smaller.
Slimier even.
...
Off in Route 1, a Ditto was having its ass torn to bloody shreds by a very hungry Pidgey and-

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.

The Adventures of an (un-)Ordinary Magician
He was living a normal life, until he was dragged into the world of magic against his own volition. This is the story of a legendary magician, Roma, and how he went from typical high schooler to overpowered sorcerer. From the author: This is my first published work, and frankly this is me playing around with my own fantasies. I'm still terrible at writing, but I hope that this story will bring some enjoyment to you nevertheless. Updates on Wednesdays, 20:30 (GMT+5).
