Hey everyone, for those who have been following the story as it was being written, or those who have discovered it recently, you may be wondering why there hasn't been any new chapters uploaded in quite a while.

The unfortunate truth of it is that I've been in a pretty bad place ever since my work was plagiarized, despite having long since gotten the website taken down. As it stands, it's been far too long for me to continue the work on the original first draft of this story; my frame of mind has shifted quite a bit and I find the story to be lacking in a lot of areas.

The point of this message is two-fold, firstly I would like to inform anyone who has an interest in the world and story of Astrala that I intend to revisit the world, rewriting it in a far more personal tone. Things are going to be slower, a bit more slice of life and feel more like they're focused on a real person rather than on some anime protagonist. There will be some large changes to the story; both how the story plays out and the speed of which it progresses, but know that the world and the overall meta-plot will remain the same.

The second point of this post is to gauge interest in the project itself, the number of people who show they actually /want/ the story of Astrala to continue will heavily influence how much of my personal time I devote to the story. Astrala is a passion project of mine to be sure, but like everyone else I want to feel my work is valued and appreciated. As such, in the coming weeks I will be releasing chapters again and opening up a discord channel for anyone to join as they please, as well as a PayPal for those who wish to support me monetarily.
