Dexter's POV;

The Blood Clone was left behind so that no one will notice my absence and I noticed the reformation of the link between me and Kura-chan. She mostly cut the link whenever I was near Lee or Guy. But was always active the moment I was alone with TenTen.

°Finally, it got boring. The story starts now and we can also start with our plans°, came from the woman that was inside me for the last dozen years or so. And my girlfriend for the last couple of years now.

°I know and am sorry Kura-chan, but it was necessary. You know as well as I do that a Blood Clone isn't for extended use. I still fear what might happen if the Naruto clone decides to release himself°.

I really do, the few times I saw him made it quite obvious that his life isn't very different from a hell hole.

°Don't remind me, I know that he is not you, but it still somewhat pains me to see him like that. And it too frightens me that you will change when he releases himself. You will not be the same, maybe even turn away from your friends...from me°.

°Heh, that is unlikely. As far as I can see I would be more paranoid, and possibly more brutal. It matters not in your case, I did like you before I created him and it's not like my personality gets overwritten by him. We will fuse our minds, not switching out one with the other. The most likely thing I think would be is that I will eradicate Konoha in a bloody attack. Which isn't so far off from the things the Uzumaki's are planning. It's good that we convinced them to not kill every last citizen°.

°I'm still worried°, was her answer. She had every right to be, still, we aren't able to do anything as of now. The clone is necessary and replacing him with a new one would be too obvious.

°We're near, they are just short of the first ambush°, came from Kura-chan. I already knew this, I felt all eight of them. Yes eight, seems like Haku is watching them.

And I knew it, Haku is a girl. No male has a womb with Chakra paths.

She also smells like a woman.

I stopped near the puddle and sat down to watch as well. The party of five came into view shortly after. Sakura next to the bridge builder, Sasuke slightly behind them with my clone next to him. Kakashi was reading his porn and glanced briefly at the puddle.

They passed the puddle and the two Ninja jumped out, their chains wrapped around Kakashi and he was ripped apart. Well, a log was ripped apart. The Genjutsu on it was by far not good enough to fool my released eyes.

They rushed at Sasuke who quickly got rid of their chain, but his fight wasn't what drew my attention. It was the fight of my clone. Naruto didn't freeze like he did in the anime. He grinned and grabbed the arm of the second Ninja, before breaking his elbow with a strike of his knee. The Ninja tried to use his other hand to force Naruto to release him, but Naruto jumped and evaded his arm, while simultaneously pulling the Ninja with him. The second brother was thrown off balance and landed under Naruto, who instantly stomped onto the other elbow and then cut the tendons in the ankles of his downed enemy.

°He isn't acting like he is supposed to. More brutal and efficient. Probably a perk of your personality°, commented Kura-chan.

°I know, it's possible that he already killed a few of his attackers in Konoha, I never was one for forgiveness°, I replied and watched him giving the Ninja, who is no longer capable of fighting, a kick into the ribs. I glanced over to Sasuke and saw that he got saved by Kakashi.

“Well well, my cute little Genin managed to fight two Ninja, who weren't supposed to be here in the first place. Tazuna, you don't happen to know something about this?”, said Kakashi before starring the bridge builder down with his single visible eye.

“N..no, I don't know why they attacked you”, answered the nervous man. It was obvious that he knew more.

“It's good that we still have a captive then. I'll ask him a few questions”, replied Kakashi, he then picked the victim of Naruto up and vanished into the woods. I only looked long enough to watch how he put him under a Genjutsu.

“SASUKE! That was so cool!”, screeched Sakura suddenly. Sasuke looked annoyed at her but it still seemed like it was the obvious thing to do. He then glanced at Naruto with disdain and sneered before turning away from both of them.

“Yeah Sasuke, that was so cool. Way cooler than Sakura, who froze. Damn are you useless”, commented Naruto in a cold tone.

“As if you are any better, I bet the Ninja that attacked you was a failure like you are”, shouted Sakura. She then tried to hit Naruto but only hit air since he evaded her slow and sloppy punch.

She was attempting another strike, but her arms were grabbed by Kakashi who came back.

“Na na, my cute little Genin shouldn't fight among each other”.

He then turned to Tazuna and his eyes were serious. “Our little guest told us about you. Protecting you from potential bandits is one thing, but an A-Rank Ninja is something entirely different. Would you please explain to me why you did deem it necessary to lie?”.

This was the moment Haku decided to leave.

So she wasn't able to hear what Tazuna had to tell. He sighed heavily before he started with his story, that Gato, the leader of a shipping company, had them in an iron grip and that they don't have the money for strong Ninja and that even this low C-Rank mission is almost more than they could pay. Their last chance was lying to them and hoping for the best.

Kakashi listened silently for the whole time and then looked down and Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. The first looked impassive, the second eager to fight and the third worried.

°You can almost hear his thoughts°, was my comment to all this.

His face was hard to read, with his face mask and such, but I could make out some ticks near his left eye.

°Yeah, he is seriously regretting to have taken them as his Genin. Sasuke won't back down from doing this mission, Sakura will follow like a puppy and your clone isn't giving a fuck°, agreed Kura-chan.

“°Sigh°, okay. I know my team enough that they won't back down from this mission, but I will ask for reinforcements. They may be fast enough to help us”, conceded Kakashi after a long pause and Tazuna looked seriously relieved.

Kakashi then went through a series of hand seals and summoned Packun, his Hunter-Ninja-Dog. A small pug that wears a jacket and a Konoha headband.

“What's up?”, asked the dog with a raised paw.

“I need you to deliver this to the Hokage, as fast as possible”, replied Kakashi and gave the dog a scroll he wrote down while speaking. He fixed the scroll on Packun's back and the dog rushed off.

The group of four started their travel anew, after Pakun's departure and reached the seaside of the country a few days later.

I run over the water before they made it and waited for them to get ambushed by Zabusa and Haku, the later would wait in the trees for support.

Sure enough, they did wait for them.

This time Naruto didn't throw a Kunai at the bunny, he simply stated “Duck or die” and then let himself fall down. Sakura was quick to mock him, but Kakashi listened and pulled Tazuna down while ordering the other two to do the same. Sasuke instantly followed the command, Sakura wasn't as fast and got her hair cut. So her stupid speech in the Forest of Death won't happen now.

The massive cleaver-like sword, that was responsible for her new hair cut, impeded itself into a tree and Zabuza landed on its blade with crossed arms.

Kakashi jumped up and drew a Kunai; “Zabusa, the Demon of the Hidden Mist”.

“My, how honored I am to be known by the legendary Copy Cat Ninja Hatake Kakashi. I'll tell you what, leave and I won't kill you and your little minions. I only want the bridge builder”, was Zabusa's reply.

°He won't listen°, stated Kura-chan. It was obvious but was even clearer the moment Kakashi threw his Kunai at Zabusa.

Zabusa made a quick somersault and ripped his blade out of the tree before landing in front of the group. He raised one of his hand in a sign and created the mist that was so known for the Bloody Mist technique.

“Careful, he might be everywhere”, warned Kakashi. He, Sasuke and Naruto got in a defensive position, while Sakura was left sitting on her ass in a state of panic.

°Let's have a chat with Haku, they'll manage. And even if not, none of them is really needed for our plan. Even Naruto can die now°.

°You think Sakura will die?°, asked Kura-chan.

°No, she is as annoying as a cockroach°. She always survived in the anime, okay most of the time was thanks to Naruto, so maybe she will die now?

Anyway, I left my viewing place and sneaked up on Haku, she was in her Hunter Ninja gear and watched the battle silently. Kakashi was now already trapped and Naruto began his attack, a dozen clones came into existence, with another dozen hidden as weapons. But those were only visible to my eyes.

I was now directly behind Haku and looked down at her. I knew that she would try to run if I attempt any form of conversation. So the only conclusion I had was to use my tails to enclose her. The nine tails quickly wrapped around her and made any form of counter attack or fleeing impossible. They were strong enough to crush trees.

“Hello Haku-chan”, I said in greeting. He face was hidden by her mask, but her eyes showed fear.

°If you continue like this she will pee her pants°, warned Kura-chan. She wasn't against frightening an enemy. On the contrary, she liked it. It was more that she didn't enjoy the smell of pee.

°Fine°, I said to her and then focused back on Haku. She was now slightly quivering. She's still only a child, even if she had to face many brutal things so far.

“Haku, I am not part of Konoha. Which means that I am not your enemy, so I will release you in a moment and you will stay where you are. We will then speak with each other and you will not try to flee, are we clear?”. Haku nodded slowly and I set her down on the tree branch.

And sure enough she didn't flee, she conjured an Ice Senbon and waited for any aggressive movements on my side.

“Who are you? What are you?”, she then asked in a wary tone.

“I'm Dexter Uzumaki, I'm here to give you a proposal. Zabusa won't win against the Konoha team, he will be wounded and I will let you save him. You two will then go back to Gato's hideout and it will take Zabusa probably around a week to get up to fighting capacity. I will come to you two and we will then speak about further things.

Did you understand?”.

She threw a glance at Zabusa, who was now in a melee battle back with Kakashi, it really didn't look like he would win, so she quickly gave me a nod and got in position to save her master.

°Do do you plan to get Zabusa to admit his fatherly feelings for her?°, asked Kura-chan suddenly.

°I don't know yet, I can't let the fight happen like it did before. The simple fact that Kakashi asked for reinforcements changed the whole plot. I'll just try to let most things be as they were before and add things here and there. Maybe I'll fight them myself, depends on whom Konoha sends°, was my answer. I then watched how Haku saved Zabusa and how Kakashi fell into blissful unconsciousness.

The remaining Genin carried him to Tazuna's house. Sasuke looked way gloomier than before, Sakura was still crying over her lost hair and Naruto looked slightly winded. His clone is so old that he didn't get most of my physical boosts. He hasn't my demon looking body and also not most of my skills. He does not even have my Rinne-Sharingan or even Rinnegan. The only eyes he has are the Mangekyou-Sharingan and that's it. They aren't the eternal, so he will go blind if he uses them too often. Something that he won't do.

So all in all he is only as strong as a B-Rank Ninja. Still, this was good enough to free Kakashi on his own, which hurt Sasuke's pride.

They reached Tazuna's house and Tsunami welcomed them in a friendly manner. I didn't stay any longer and used the Hiraishin tracker I placed on Haku to meet them.

Haku's POV;

Master Zabusa was in critical condition and only thanks to my Senbon, that send him into a near death state, was I able to save his life. The Senbon decreased his heart beat and slowed the blood flow significantly. But he isn't able to move or fight for at least a few days. A few herbs would increase his healing, but I would need to go out for that to happen. This won't be possible, at least not today or tomorrow. His current state does not allow it for me to leave him any longer than a few minutes.

I put my bloodied and dirty clothes off and stepped into the shower. Today was not a good day. First, the demon brothers loose against some Genin, then Zabusa lost against Hatake Kakashi and there is also this unknown being that captured be briefly during the fight.

He had a human male body, but also nine tails. He wore dark clothes and had a scary mask over his face. But his eyes were what truly frightened me, they were purple with rings and tomoes inside. They increased the shock effect of his mask tenfold. His voice was the only thing that stopped me from screaming. His voice sounded strong, masculine and had a deep rumbling tone. I don't know why, but my heart skipped a beat when I heard him.

I used some soap to get a few dried blood batches off of my hands and sighed deeply under the warm water.

He said he will meet us soon. How might he look under his mask?

Then suddenly a reddish-yellow flash blinded me and the man I only just thought about stood in front of her clothes.

“Oh shit, ähm Haku? I kinda didn't expect you to be naked, so I think I will leave this room and wait for you to get dressed”, he then said and promptly walked out of the room. However, I knew that he didn't close his eyes, yet he never looked directly at me.

I know that I'm still a child, but he should have looked at least a little.

I quickly put my clothes on and followed him, he might want to attack Zabusa.

However, my fears weren't needed, he waited outside. He still had his mask on and his eyes were also in this menacing form, maybe a Dojutsu? But which one?

“Let's meet Zabusa”, he then said and began to walk towards Master Zabusa's room. How does he know where it is?

“He's in no state to speak as of now, you have to wait”, I shouted quickly and placed myself between him and Master Zabusa's room.

“I will heal him, don't worry about that”, he simply said and pushed me aside.

“I can't let you through!!”, I said resolutely and activated my bloodline. But the next thing he did shocked me greatly. He simply grabbed me out of my mirror and all my Chakra was suddenly gone, I only had enough to stay conscious. He simply swung me over his shoulder and continued on his way. Towards my unprotected Master. How could I fail so miserably?

His voice might sound soothing and beautiful, but his actions are not.

Dexter's POV;

°Poor girl never stood a chance°, laughed Kura-chan.

°Yeah, but she tried at least°, was my reply. I opened the door to Zabusa's room, whom I found with my Chakra sensory ability, and spotted the person of interest lying on the only bed in the room.

He was bandaged around his chest and it seems like he also got a cut from Naruto in his face. It barely missed his eyes.

“Please don't hurt Master Zabusa, I'll do anything”, came from my luggage.

°She's going to cry°, warned Kura-chan, she already knows that a crying girl is almost the only thing I can't stand. It's not like I fall into a state where I desperately do anything to stop the crying, it's more that it's annoying as fuck and I more often than once simply left the room of a crying woman. Or simply killed them if they were enemies.

I ignored her and assessed Zabusa's state with a diagnosis Jutsu. Two of his ribs were broken, a deep cut only narrowly missed his heart and lungs and the cut above his eyes will open with a single small punch or even a frown. But he is out of any serious danger and would probably survive on his own. A two weeks at most and he would be up and running.

Thankfully this means that I didn't have to use my Flames of Healing and the medical Jutsu's I learned from Tsunade-baachan will be enough to heal him.

I put the now pleading and sobbing Haku down and began my work, first were his ribs, they might become a problem if they don't heal probably. But it seems like Haku was good at what she did, so it didn't take long to fully heal him. A quick Chakra pushes later and Zabusa woke up.

“What happened? Haku? Are you there?”, he asked. I didn't bother to take off his bandages, which were also over his eyes.

“Master?”, asked the sniffling girl that tried her hardest to stand up.

°You sucked too much Chakra out, she is barely awake°, criticized Kura-chan in a fake mocking tone.

“Yes, what happened?”, asked Zabusa. He touched his previous wound and then began to undo his bandages.

“I'm sorry Master I...”, cried Haku, she managed to stand up but fell down again, this time on Zabusa.

“What is going on Haku?”, asked Zabusa who was now holding her.

“She tried to attack me, I had to disarm her. After that I healed you”, I said and he visibly tensed.

“Who are you?”, he asked in an attempt to intimidate me. He now hurriedly ripped his bandages off and looked directly at me, then to his side where his sword was placed.

“I'm Dexter Uzumaki”, I simply said and he froze at my name.

°Why did he freeze?°, asked Kura-chan.

°Every Uzumaki is a flee on sight in the Bingo Book of Kiri, he was once one of their special swordsmen and must've heard about my clan”, I answered.

“The Uzumaki are dead and don't have a Dojustu like you”, he then said.

“You'll soon learn that not everything is what it seems. But I'm not here to inform you about the return of the Uzumaki. I'm here to tell you a few things. Will you listen?”, I said and he looked down at a still crying Haku. He then pushed her into a position further away from me and stared directly into my eyes.

“Speak”.

°Oh, he already shows signs of protection°, said Kura-chan happily.

“Gato is planning to betray you. This might not be something new to you, but I'm still stating the obvious. I plan to take over his money and company and will then lead this country into a better future.

I know that you're only doing these mercenary missions because you need money for the rebellion in Kiri. What I want to offer is my help in fighting and beating the current Mizukage”.

He thought over my offer and then looked down at Haku, before looking back up at me.

“What can only one man do against a whole country?”.

“You'll see. I didn't say that you will go back without money, I'll give you enough to support the rebellion”.

“Fine, it's not like I can do much now anyway, but what about the Konoha Ninja? They will stay here and won't leave Gato alone as well”, he then said and made a good point.

“You'll fight them anyway. In a week, at the bridge, but I will make sure that none of you will die. In the meantime, we will take over Gato and spy on the enemy. They asked for reinforcements and I want to know who was sent”.

He agreed and I left the room, but not the building. Tomorrow we will start with the whole plan. I think I'll name it 'Small Fatso in dire situation'

°This name sucks°, said Kura-chan drily.
