《Heaven's Grip : Orcs of Iaoue》Cleansing 11 : Our Patron God

When the 'horde' stabilized from the excitement caused by the race change. We started to realize that our stomachs are grumbling, so we did the drill and look for rootworms. These rootworms grow fast even with our daily consumption they never decrease, Pic also found out that these worms love to eat our excrete, he discovered it when he was pooping late night at a nearby tree. Those worms gathered around Pic's poop and started to drill their heads in it. Pic's new discovery made the Hogs happy since they can now use their waste as bait to increase the efficiency of their hunt. I don't know why but I really don't like that method of hunting for some reasons. What amazes me is that those worms eat their dead brothers, basically, those excretes are mostly worms.
But lately, the worms are no longer fulfilling like before. When I eat 5 worms my hunger will be satiated. I usually eat it with starbbages that I obtained from Pic. As for why Pic has starbagges, it goes back to that stupid stalk of grass. It turns out that the grass was a starbbage sprout that sprouted in Pic's place. He said that it may have been those weird little pebbles that he got inside the starbbages' bulb. Pic said that those starbagges grew fast and they can be eaten after 10 days from sprouting. Pic got new seeds and planted it around his 'haven' and now his place is so lively from all those starbbages surrounding him.
'Good, my accuracy seems to increase as long as I always do it this way' Before I shoot my tail, I made it stop above my head and aim for a nearby tree with its trunk as a target. What I notice during my daily practice is the drop of accuracy when I use my tail without activating my race skill 'Impale'.

I moved deeper into the forest in search for new things to eat and might as well practice when I'm at it to improve my tail's control. Though the Chief did not assign or even mention a task like this, I, being the most suitable Hog for the job did it on my own for two reasons. One being the worms can no longer satisfy my hungry stomach in terms of fulfillment and taste. Two I want to get some fresh air, maybe by randomly walking like this, I can meet another sentient being. Though I said deeper in the forest, it is still within the boundary of our territory. So finding a predator here is based on chance and that chance is quite low. Speaking of predators, that stupid cat did not come back. Though it's cool that he didn't, I really want to give him a taste of my new tail. While thinking about those dangerous thoughts, I unconsciously stepped out of our territory boundary. We made sure to establish our territory when we came here, it's an animal thing so marking your territory is a natural instinct.
'Shoot', I said inwardly. Our territory might be large but it was not endless, when we came here, this forest for some reason unknown is uninhabited. We can occasionally see birds, but those birds do not bother going down and talk to us. While little creatures can be seen too, they really are not a threat so we just let them be. Creature our size, I really want to meet them. Speaking of creatures, I wonder what happened to Moley.
Since the rewards are claimable anytime Fig said that we should think more about it. There are still 3 rewards waiting to be claimed, my only hope is for them to not disappear and give us anything random.

We got 5 choices for this one and I really don't know where to start. Fig already explained all the necessary details before he went to the forest. He said that all the details are beneficiary to us and there are no negative effects in honoring those GODS, well I agree to that. The RIVER GOD and SUN GODDESS are exempted since the only one who will benefit to that is Pic. The real choices are the SUN GOD, GODDESS of the Moon and the FOREST GOD. I really want the FOREST GOD to be our patron though since traveling in the forest without exhausting is rather cool and we are already considered as creatures of the forest since we live on it in the first place. As for those other GODS, the Moon Goddess is only effective during the night but those skills and incentives of hers are really tantalizing while the Sun God's increase in attack and stamina recovery is cool too, but the fire attribute thing is quite useless since we don't even know what a fire is.

To do list for the post apocalypse: 1. Survive the orcs rampaging through your city. 2. Survive the pod trying to steal your mind. 3. Pull off the greatest heist of all time. It still amazed Eric how much the world’s end mirrored the movie his obsessed mother had put into production… set to release just three days after the Apocalypse. But humanity wasn’t completely helpless. You really could level up in this brave new world, and embrace magic, peril, and limitless power! So long as you didn’t mind a 90% mortality rate in alien vegetative pods as happy to turn you into topsoil as give you any shot at mastering a System designed to benefit elite invaders.
