Hello again. I am all alone.

Again.

I passed out as soon as we went underwater.

Woke up on a beach. Caught in a tangle of driftwood and seaweed. Most of my bones were broken, I had a three foot long splinter of the tinglewood shell we had been inside punched clean through my chest. My right lung to be specific. A good chunk of my left thigh appeared to have been bitten off at some point. I puked up half the ocean, and had a little cry.

My satchel was still on me. Great thanks for small blessings.

But that was it, besides some ragged clothes.

Ok.

Don't freak out me. You have been in worse spots before. I think. Can't really recall one right now.

Anyway, focus. Priorities.

Food, water, shelter. Get these, then worry about the rest.

I am an asshole.

Didn't even give myself time to have a nice little freak out before putting me to work.

I have food, my satchel was uncompromised, plenty of food in there. There are also lot of birds, fishes, and fruits on the sunny and beautiful mountainous and uninhabited island I have washed up on.

I found three different springs, all becoming beautiful crystal clear streams full of happy tasty fish that lead to a gorgeous waterfall into a secluded lagoon. Plenty of fresh water from them. I also still have a bit of rum.

I found a very nice roomy cave. Soft sandy floor, and there are even alcoves with thick soft moss for a bed. It is near the peak of the entire island, and offers a breathtaking view of the sunset. A lovely shelter after I evicted its former tenants and then invited them to dinner.

I hate it so much.

Everything hear is so happy, so perfect. It feels wrong to be sad and worried amongst all this beauty and wonder.

Stupid island. Making me feel good when I should be in the throes of despair.

The birds and fish and fruit are all rather tasty. Take that happy forest creatures and plants, you are all delicious!

I feel terrible enjoying food when my friends could all be in mortal peril or even dead. NOPE NOPE NOPE!!! Think positive damn me! I am positive they are all fine. I am positive they are all healthy. I am positive I am boned.

How in the world am I supposed to find four people in an entire ocean!? I have literally no idea where to start. The best plan I could come up with was wait until night, then shoot a pillar of fire as high as possible. Hoping they will see it and come find me.

That is a pretty passive plan. And I hate it.

Oh, look at that bird. It has the most brilliant plumage I have ever seen.

*Whew* Ok, got that out of my system.

I need to sleep. I'll do the fire pillar beacon plan, then try to rest.

I am sure everything will seem better in the morning.
