《Dragon, Silver Dragon》Dorvus
Advertisement
Dorvus watched the dragon… Michael… Michael Arienach land. Funny thing, after meeting him and learning how he seemed to care for the people he watched over, Dorvus could see that Michael was not happy or impressed about what awaited him on his landing pad. He held back the grin and chuckle that threatened to bubble over. He looked around at the waiting nobles from the different lands and held back the sense of glee he felt. Michael would not stand still for their politics or their maneuvering. They were all out of their league and had no clue yet. The dread and apathy of this meeting was beginning to fade, being replaced with an almost evil sense of glee. Those feathered peacocks had done much to separate the lands in the name of good. Their good.
He watched the proceedings at the dock and even Haladoria seemed to have no clue what her pet dragon was going to do. It was rather funny watching Haladoria. She had fallen for the big lizard. He could hardly blame her. He was the most honest and straightforward being that Dorvus had ever met. It was kind of funny watching the strong independent elf fall for a dragon. She was a strong and competent leader, he knew from the time they were still enemies. She had held her people together after the attack on her city and lead them. Now she was acting like a little school girl whenever that dragon so much as glanced at her.
The tension built on the walk to the meeting place and through the building. Dorvus could tell he wasn’t angered, but there was a sense of… what? Impatience? The others bowed and postured and Michael watched. He did not approve. As he took his seat, you could almost feel the sense of pressure building.
“The most ancient dragon emperor, Michael.” Haladoria announced.
Then it happened. He stood and spoke. He could feel an ache in his jaws from trying not to laugh.

Mistwalker Xyn and the Cult of Eldritch Evil
[Participant in the 2020 Royal Road Writathon Challenge] Having just graduated to adulthood, Xyn is salty about how his lackluster Awakening has resulted in his current derided status within his clan and tribe, particularly when compared to the successes of his litter-siblings. The revelation of the truth about his heritage sets in motion events leading to him traveling to human lands on a secret mission for his tribe. Cringeworthy moments and awkwardness will ensue as young Xyn (an anthropomorphic tiger-kin), raised in the sheltered life of a martial artist, navigates human society with a trusty sidekick or two picked up along the way and might just save his corner of the world while he's at it. Gore will be minimally present as needed to tell a fantasy martial arts tale. There won't be any sexual content, but mild/vague suggestive themes may occur occasionally due to the nature of Xyn's mission and his insecurities. Story should be teen appropriate.
