《Dungeon Games》Chapter Three: Demons - Introduction to the Inferno
Advertisement
Here is another bit of an Info dump, further information on the Demon Race, though it is limited to what only the beginners will have access too, and will not reveal more until the Race is released officially to the community at large. For those wondering about the Gender Bender, that happens later, and for certain reasons. You may like the surprise. ^.^
Once I set down on the bed and got comfortable, mostly by lying on my stomach with my head toward the table to regard the little dungeon world when I wanted to.
An introduction to the Demon race. Welcome to the inferno.
Let's start off with the fact that the Demon Race has several species within the race that can be unlocked through evolution, or unique methods discussed in a later chapter.
We will start our explanation with the weakest species, the Imp.
The Imps, serve a similar purpose to the starting race of Goblins. They are weak, short lived, and tend to be expendable in battles.
However they have a literal plethora of evolutionary paths, and adapt quickly to their surroundings
The main advantage of Imps is that they have numbers, they breed, and grow very quickly. In a week you could have thousands of these creatures with variants occurring that can unlock unique evolutionary pathways.
A few possible evolutions you can get from the common Imp, red and black coloring, include, but are not limited to -
Tier one (current available knowledge)
Husk - a soulless denizen of hell, focused on power.
Dark Wisp - a dark manifestation of cruelty and evil
Hell hound - a creature of low intelligence that is primarily used to track and encircle foes.
Tier two (available knowledge)
Cerberii - a two headed dog evolved from Hell Hounds.
Ghast - a wisp that has changed to return to a shadowy shape it held in live or gained from what it devoured.
Pit fighter - a creature of brute strength that is the main path of Husk evolutions
These are known evolutions of two early Tier Demons. They are not the only methods or pathways to each respective creature but they are the most common.
You can unlock unique variants to each along with unique pathways of evolutions through experimentation of environment, and methods of training with your A.I.

One such Variant is shown as already unlocked for you, the Hell fire Imp
These creatures embody the fire of hell, and are almost always female. Their are rare documentations of male versions, but it is unknown at this time.
The Hell fire Imp follows a unique evolutionary pathway. The set pathway you may see is as follows.
Tier one (only one shown)
Succubii - a prelude to the legendary succubus, they are female and are powerful in the art of seductions.
Tier two ( only one shown)
Succubus - once a succubii has mastered her art of seductions and Hell fire control, she evolves into a succubus, with the right amount of points spent.
Tier three ( only one shown)
Lillum - a legendary succubus named after the first, Lilith, rare and limited to one in the dungeon.
Further tiers revealed when unlocked. But it is possible for this variant to evolve into a female fallen angel if the conditions are met.
Keep in mind that each there is a total of Ten separate tiers for most races. The Demons have a unique quality where in the bottleneck area of tier three, there is a chance for the Legendary Evolutions. They are the strongest, and hardest to get for that particular tier. They are limited to one as well, which makes them a bit of a collectible, rather than a striving goal for power.
These 'legendary' creatures consist of a kind of power base once the Demon Race has advanced a certain degree and is building cities, rather than villages, and hovels.
There are also the other two known rare variants of Imps.
Troglodytes - Water based Imps, breath under water. These Imps are unique in the sense that they are strong in the element of water, where as normally that is one of their weaknesses as Demons with fire affinity.
Rock Biters - These Imps have gained a stone out layer of skin, and have lost the ability to fly. These lead to a rare and powerful male species after goals have been met to unlock it.
Each of these rare variants have a 1 in 500 chance of occurring naturally, but you are given the option, once one is born, to select one of these three as a common place birth rate. so it would be 1 in 4 that became one of these rare variants.

The others may be unlocked still, however the price doubles each time. You may also go the route of simply breeding and breeding to create a stable population of these variants which will increase the likely hood by .1% depending on the density of the variants.
Imps themselves are servant class creatures within the Demon race, used at disposable shock troops to create fear, and sow wounds in stronger foes at the loss of their lives.
The Servant mentality of these creatures will become apparent once stronger Demons begin to come to the light within your dungeon.
Unlock Starter Races, the Demons, once they have reached the level to evolve, require points for each individual to evolve, and the cost for this, depending on the evolution, can range from cheap to expensive.
For instance, an Imp evolving into a Husk, would cost around 50 points, and a wisp would cost around the same. Now, should a new, or unseen evolution occur, that can change to be greater in price, or lower.
For beginners that have just begun their use of Master level Races, we recommend focusing on population, and knowledge that can carry into the other Evolutions.
This is an obvious factor, because of how points are accumulated naturally. It will also aid in battle, Numbers may not always beat might, but they can aid.
This concludes the knowledge available to your current level of Mastery of the Demonic race, further sections will be unlocked at a later date as you learn more about the Race. The A.I will unlock it naturally at certain mile stones.
We wish you luck, and victory in all you do.
I closed the screen and rubbed my eyes gently, yawning. It had taken an hour to go through most of the details available.
The basic of the basics with Demons, and I loved it. It was a challenge, it would take time, and I could enjoy slowly picking what I wanted, rather than buying it all in mass like some could do with Starter Races onces they gained the points.
This Race was set up for Master players, and required ever increasing amounts of points based on what you picked, and how you wanted to advance.
I smiled, and watched the little dungeon world, the Hell Fire Imp was still enlarged, and she was practicing spitting fire on some of the younger Imps, quickly beating them into submission.
I wasn't sure how I felt about that, but they were Demons, and it was their nature.
"Leo?" I asked while watching the Imps go about their lives.
Yes, Sidnie?
"Soon we should start hunting, I can get the control link and help you guide the Demons, and we can both learn more that way."
The control Link was a pair of glasses that hooked into the watch via a wire, and gave you a first person view of a selected creature in your Dungeons control, and allowed you to take control without it really noticing. Daddy had one in his study that he had told me I could use before he left.
Of course, Sidnie, that sounds splendid. Shall you be controlling Red?
Red must be the Hell Fire Imp. I still felt she was cute.
"Yes~! I would love too."
I spent a bit longer just watching, and talking to Leo, and the conversation turned toward future plans with him. Also, he had gained a few points, around 5, just from talking to me. Growing into a personality, and learning through interactions with me.
Sidnie, what is it you wish to do once you can leave this house?
Of course Daddy had programmed that knowledge into Leo, I frowned and pouted a bit because now I felt he pitied me, but answered.
"I want to join tournaments, and earn more Races for you to control, and for us to grow with my Friends when they get their dungeon A.I's and to have fun!" I said after a bit.
I would like that as well, Sidnie.
Here you go my lovelies. Another Chapter, and some big Info Dump focused on the available species, Imps, more in later chapters, and the next one will have more interactions with Leo, and Sidnie, and the first hunt. How will this adorable little girl handle it? Find out later. ^.^
As always, much love and cookies.

My Isekai
For those not familiar with the isekai genera, this story is about a man waking up in an unknown world. The story follows his journey and life in this world, which does not only look different on the surface, but the common norms and values of this world are very alien to the modern western mindset. How will this average western person respond to such a world, and how will it change him. For those familiar with isekai, this is a western take on a predominantly Japanese story format. It draws a lot of inspiration from Japanese isekai, but it also tries to tackle a lot of tropes that might be annoying to the western mindset. The story is not written for young boys as the story tries to take a mature take on some typical clichés and assumptions made by both the typical writer and reader of the genera.

The Lucky Secret
Five years ago, the Tower appeared in the Arctic circle, and people started to disappear. Not that any of this affected Cillian James, who was too busy keeping the lights on with webnovels he didn't want to write to really concern himself with some omniscient tower kidnapping people at random. That is, until Cillian is kidnapped himself, and now he has some very big problems on his hands. Namely, surviving the Tower and its homicidal salamanders and zombies and weirdly affectionate cats, and learning the truth behind the existence of the amulet titled "The Writer's Secret". Cilian isn't particularly athletic, given he spent six years glued to a computer chair, and the Tower can only give him so much strength before he's considered a lost cause, and he's not prepared in the slightest for this. He's a bit weak, he hates killing, and spends more time screaming than he does actually fighting, but if there's one thing he's got going for him, it's his impressive self-perseveration skills. But is surviving truly enough, if it changes you into someone you don't recognize? How much will he have to sacrifice before he can even call himself Cillian?
