Hey all!

So... I'm not dead.

I just wanted to pop my head in and say that more chapters are on the way.

I hate to give excuses but boy do I have a lot of them!

The night after publishing my latest chapter, I got a frantic text from a buddy of mine. The company he works for was seriously shorthanded after a mishap occurred and injuries ensued. He needed me to drop what I was doing and come in the next day.

I could have refused, maybe I should have, but I can't turn down any opportunity to work in these times with COVID royally screwing the economy.

The temp job lasted awhile, and I walked away with a bit more of a figurative blush in the cheeks of my bank account.

Following my short stint as a warehouse worker, I've been sitting around (learning guitar btw!) feeling like a totally crappy person for leaving you guys hanging. I got caught up with personal and family issues too since I last shared words with y'all.

Reasons aside, I'm doing my damndest to find the flow I had going with my story before.

So expect to find a neatly wrapped chapter maybe around Sunday or Monday. Until then, I have to plan a kickass, totally at home, birthday for my girlfriend.
