《Little You》Chapter 10

Charlie finally reached the bottom of the stairs, being led into a large room filled with all sorts of handmade dolls. A chandelier hung from the ceiling, ensuring the room it isn’t completely glazed with darkness. The black cloak hung from a rusted old hat stand, beside a worn-out armchair, surrounded by a coffee table layered with sowing equipment and different types of felt. ‘This is it’ she thought to herself, finally being able to confront the person who was behind all of this. She stepped closer to one of the newer looking shelves with the four brand new dolls on it. She recognized the dolls to be Johnny, Sam, Kyle and Heather.
“After three years of me making people in our year disappear, someone finally noticed” a voice rang from behind Charlie. She clenched her hands into fists, slowly turning around to come face to face with the criminal. Even if the dimly lit room she could make who the woman was right away, Brianna Barry. She looks at the shocked expression on Charlie’s face as she tucks her shoulder length dyed hair behind her ear, her brown eyes scanning Charlie’s green ones.
Charlie looked at her from head to toe, taking in every detail from the roots that have started regrowing on her hair to the tight-fitting maroon top and black plaid skirt. She wore black sheer tights and the same black heels from when she kicked Heather.
“Shocking, isn’t it?” she started, Charlie finally looking back into her eyes. “Your very own classmate having done this under your nose for years and only now does one of you pathetic souls catch on to my act” she laughed, a sinister smile sitting on her face as Charlie clenched her fists harder, this time out of anger. “I bet you have some questions Charlie, curious why I did it to begin with” she could read right through her and Charlie hated it.

“Then why the fuck did you do it?” Charlie almost hissed as she spat out the words. “Now, now, why don’t we calm down little one?” Brianna tapped the couch and beckoned Charlie to sit which she finally did after a moment of consideration. Charlie looked at Brianna with a raised eyebrow, waiting for her to finally start the story.
