Chapter 15
The Mass Murder at Dionaea Salon and Spa 10
-:-
The ground shatter as if it was hit by an artillery shell.
This was the result of a heavy downward sword swing Raymond Alfonso Dionaea that Theo cleanly dodged.
Where did Raymond pull that sword from?
Just like everything in the realm of Magic: out their ass.
Theo had a feeling that Raymond was not particularly used to fighting.
That big strike the incubus performed, while powerful, left Raymond open for a counter attack.
Theo could actually blow Raymond’s brain open before he could recover his stance.
Unfortunately, Theo needed to keep him alive.
Theo fired his P-90, hitting Raymond 3 times on the left shoulder and 5 times on the left leg.
Raymond screamed in agony as he began to fall to the ground.
Before Raymond could hit the ground, Theo unleashed one of the aces in his sleaves.
He completely drained one of the three archon batteries to boost the power of his left arm, then sunk a powerful uppercut into Raymond’s gut.
Raymond smashed through the second and third floor before stopping at the fourth floor.
The archon battery fueled punches was powerful, but he could only do 3 of them per battle and the hefty 20 minute recharge time per battery made it unreliable.
Did the punch kill Raymond?
Absolutely not.
It may have hurt him a fair bit, but he’ll be back.
Based on Juno, a lust demon’s (incubus/succubus) strength was directly proportional to the number and quality of their harem.
The more women/men they seduce, the more powerful they become.
Naturally, their harem was both their strength and their weakness.
With no harem, lust demons were equal to your normal everyday human.
How does that work?
Its magic!
Logic and reason doesn’t apply to them.
Theo needed to kill as many of Raymond’s harem before he regenerates.
Theo threw his frag grenade into the second floor as he fired wildly at the ones on the first floor. At the same time, he ran out of the dance hall and dove for cover as the hailstorm of bullets hounded his retreat.

Due to the small area of the second floor balcony, the fragmentation grenade took out 13 and injured 6.
Theo’s frantic retreat greatly reduced his accuracy. He was only able to score 3 kills.
Normally, people would be reluctant to hurt pretty girls. This was one of the greatest arsenal in an Incubi’s war potential.
This was due to the misconception that the girls were doing this against their will.
A lust demon was a highly addictive drug.
A person must willingly inject the drug into their system before the addiction could start.
The effect of having sex with a lust demon was akin to a truth serum.
This made the victim permanently more susceptible to suggestions from the lust demon. This made them extremely loyal to the lust demon and would do just about anything to appease him or her.
Because Theo knew the victims willingly entered a relationship with the lust demon, he felt absolutely no pity for them.
They were enemies.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Theo ran from the dance hall with the remaining 28 women at his heels.
He ran from cover to cover, desperately trying to avoid the downpour of bullets.
While none of their guns could pierce Theo’s Z49 Scout Armor, getting hit still hurt like hell.
Especially the Bren light machine gun. It was sure to crack a couple of bones.
The annoying thing about the harem of a lust demon was that the harem received a small portion of the lust demon’s strength.
The best example of this was the teen age girl that was carrying and firing the Bren light machine gun while running at her top speed.
That thing weighted 11 kilos when fully loaded!
Its recoil was no laughing matter either!
No way a normal teen age girl could fire the Bren while on the move
Fortunately, Raymond’s groupies had very little training in combat shooting. Thanks to this, Theo was able to manage not getting hit despite the maelstrom of bullets.

Theo placed his P-90 over his shoulder and began firing back while he ran like hell.
With the camera on his back, Theo was able to score 9 kills before the magazine ran dry.
It was inaccurate to shoot while running, but the situation practically forced him to do so.
Theo wasn’t running randomly.
He had a particular destination in mind that would give him the greatest advantage possible.
A few seconds of running and he reached an area where the ceiling went all the way to the fifth floor.
He used his grappling gun and went straight to the second floor.
At this point, Theo has successfully occupied the high ground.
There were only 3 means to get to his location: elevators, stairs and escalator
Theo hid behind a wall that led deeper into the building.
To his left were both the stairs and the escalator. Both of which he had a clear shot.
To his undefended right side was the elevator.
It may not look like it, but it was the perfect killing zone.
And like Anikin Skywalker, the mob rushed up the escalator and stairs, effectively rushing to their doom.
Theo kept himself hidden for a couple of seconds.
When he was sure that there were enough people in the decently sized corridor, Theo unleashed a barrage of bullets while remaining on cover.
It was like a fish in a barrel.
There was literally no place to hide in the corridor.
Theo mowed down 7 of them in one go.
The rest tried to run down the stairs, but they were met by a combination of the stun grenade and the mini-incendiary bomb.
8 died either by breaking their neck as they fell down the stairs due to the stun grenade, or from burning to death via the mini-incendiary bomb or a combination of both
6 were injured and 4 combat capable.
The couldn’t help but pat himself in the back. He was making phenomenal progress in such a short time.
And the effect was easy to see.
“YOU BASTAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRD!”
Raymond jumped from the fifth floor to deliver a powerful downward swing.
Unlike his previous attempt, this one was far less awesome to look at.
The ground did shatter, but it was more akin to a number of cracks due to a small earthquake.
It was a very big downgrade from the artillery crater earlier.
“You’re a slow learner” said Theo as he emptied his magazine into Raymond’s legs.
“GGGGGGGAAAAAAAARRRRRHHHHHHHH!”
As Raymond screamed in pain, Theo took out his high frequency blade.
He used up another archon battery charge and cleaved off Raymond’s sword arm in one strike.
Theo quickly followed by a spinning left elbow strike to the back of the head.
The last four of Raymond’s harem ran back up the stairs in order the help their incubus master
Since there was no time to reload the P-90, Theo quickly pulled one his Beretta 92 pistols and shot the 4 to death.
Theo used his last archon battery charge to slice off Raymond’s remaining arm.
The incubus’ screams was out of this world.
Raymond cursed Theo with every insult in the book.
Theo simply chuckled as he cleanly chopped off Raymond’s legs.
“Mission accomplished…. Or so I would like it to be….”
Based on the spy drone’s video feed, Theo has taken way too long to finish his work.
“THIS IS THE VERMILION CITY POLICE! YOU ARE SURROUNDED! SURRENDER AND YOU WILL NOT BE HARMED!”
“Well…. Shit…”

Two brilliant young me, Reinhard von Musel and Yang Wen-li, are forced to flee the countries of their birth and become refugees on opposite sides of a century long galactic war. While they both struggle to adapt to their new lives, their obvious talent propels them to the forefront of the war. Their choices will shape their adoptive homelands forever, and their clash will decide the future of the galaxy. This story is broken up into volumes, each following one half of the conflict. You can read them in chronological order, or you can follow just Yang or Reinhard. See individual descriptions below. Wanting to escape that indentured servitude, Yang flees his homeland and takes up a false identity in the Galactic Empire, a hyper-stratified society where stepping out of line is punishable with imprisonment or death. Yang enrolls in the Imperial Officers’ Academy to study history, but despite his unusual and unmistakeable talent as both a tactician and a scholar, his classmates resent him for being a visible outsider. When tensions at the school boil over and several of Yang’s classmates attempt to murder him, Yang finds an unlikely ally in the top student in the class: the aloof Oskar von Reuenthal. But Reuenthal and Yang both have secrets, secrets which could destroy both their lives and their newfound friendship. Unknown Fate's End
The ancient's believed that a man's fate or destiny is written already, and that only God or maybe the Gods could change it. If they did change it, it was believed it was for a purpose unknown to that man or for maybe for the ammusement of those higher beings. However, whether that is true or not, one thing is for certain. Changing a man's fate will create a ripple of changes. Join our hero, who whether by luck, by some divine intervention, or by his own choice, separated from the fate that he shared with his fellow earthlings. Watch him struggle in his new world. Watch him grow. Watch him learn. Watch him walk a path oustside what destiny has for him. FYI: The magic concept in this story is high fantasy with involvement of polytheistic religions and demons. There will be a mix of GameLit style writing mixed with traditional magic novel style writing. The plot developement will be slow in the first volume, as I will focus on world building and character building. The main character will not be OP immediately and will develop into one in his own way over time. This series is built less like modern Japanese, Korean, and Chinese webnovels and more like the old school fanstasy novels like DND and Forgotten Realms.
