《A Mediocre Supreme Cultivator》Observer

Dazed, Fang Hu watched as the sect elder pulled out a Japanese style short sword in each hand. What did those weebs call it? Oh yeah, it's called a tantō. He took a stance and generated two arms from each of his shoulder blades. Each of the arms sported an identical tantō in each hand. Idly, Fang Hu wondered what he called that technique, going by pop-culture, it'd be called asura-something. While the elder was shouting about something, Hu secretly thought that the technique, when combined with his black robes and asian weaponry, made him look like an emo weeb. What's an emo weeb again? Ummmmmmm~ Right, a Chūnibyō. Unfortunately, if you look like that in this world, it's more likely that you kill a lot of people, instead of just acting in a way that will extremely embarrass you in the future.
At the thought of murder, Fang Hu's displeasure made his rattled brain stop sending him static, and tuned him into Jiang Shui's rant.
"-you UNCULTURED SWINE, I, Jiang Shui, will turn you into a pincushion. PREPARE TO TASTE MY BLADES, BASTARD!"
After saying his lot, Jiang Shui sped towards Fang Hu, darkness blurring his figure as did so. Even as Fang Hu should be concerned, he couldn't help but grin. This grin made Jiang Shui commit to his attack that much more, which was a good thing. The holder of the intent Fang Hu had sensed on top of the wall wouldn't have been half as successful with his sneak attack without the distraction. As it was, a giant fist made Jiang Shui's head take a 180º turn. That, however, apparently wasn't a death sentence in a fight of this level. Jiang Shui just looked annoyed as a series of sickening pops realigned his spine. Fang Hu's self-satisfied smirk dropped a little as he heard what his savior had to say.
"You should run away, Fang Hu is my target, I won't let anyone kill him before I get my chance to torture him for his secrets."

At the mention of torture, Fang Hu realized that his everything hurt. The scholar stumbled back a few steps into the wall, where he slid down and landed on his ass. After being in shock for a few moments, something deep inside himself to stop being a pussy and pay attention to the life threatening battle going on. Either the new guy wasn't much of a talker, or he had been out much longer than he thought. Though a moment's observation proved theory number one correct. With each swing of a massive fist a shack or two would crumble, in what must have been a matter of moments, the slums had turned into unrecognizable ruins. Dozens of buildings had turned into so much rubble.
While that pissed him off, Fang Hu focused on the battle. The man who was as tall as Fang Hu and three times as bulkier, was obviously cultivating some kind of beast dao, Fang Hu could tell it in his core. Whatever it was allowed him to continue his onslaught relentlessly, ignoring both counterattacks and Jiang Shui's uncanny ability to dodge. Jiang Shui had not been hit once since the surprise attack. He would move in sudden bursts of speed, cover the surroundings in darkness, and turn into a dark mist when it looked like he couldn't avoid the heavy swings. While Jiang Shui wasn't yet injured in this bout, whether it's from the large-scale attacks, healing himself, or constantly dodging, he was clearly running low on qi. While it wasn't visible to the naked eye, the elder's shadowy aura was clearly weakening.
Fang Hu doubted he could slip away unnoticed by the cultivators, so he contented himself to seeing their statuses.

'Haha! So that's why he cared so much that I smacked around his son, he's a tsundere old killer. Haha... Cough Cough... owwww.'
Jiang Shui continued to counter attack the burly man repeatedly sending devastating blows his way. While the man still ignored the cuts covering his body, the casual observer would wince as his entire body became bloody with small cuts. Though, one would have to be pretty insane to causally observe this hurricane of a battle. Well, Fang Hu would be pretty casual right now if not for his many injuries. His injuries, and the fact that every so often fluids will spurt out of the unknown man's injuries, apparently poison rejected by the man's qi. Who was that man to want to kill him anyway?

'WHAT?! That damn auction house better have not sent Xiang after me, or there will be consequences... sigh still though, no powers and at that level of strength at that age? That might be normal in higher areas, but not here. The people with 'High' potential in more influential areas must be real monsters.'
Fang Hu watched as the duo of cultivators fought themselves for a little while. After sitting there for a few minutes, he was concerned that no one else was coming to interrupt the fighting. Fang Hu knew for a fact that there were dozens of Foundation Establishment elders in this city, not to mention the Core Formation elder leading the city, why wasn't anyone coming to stop the destruction of the city? It couldn't be because it was the slums, there were some crime rings with foundation establishment elders based in this part of the city. They might not be strong enough to face these cultivators, but they have enough pull to make the city come out in force.
Maybe it just takes awhile to organize a bunch of cultivators, if so, than that sucks for Fang Hu. His only course of action would have been wait until the forces take care of the warring cultivators and try to survive afterwards. His luck had seemingly run out at the same time as Jiang Shui's patience ran out. He grew tired of facing off against the bull daoist, and disengaged by spreading darkness around the area and quickly bounded into the sky. Xiang didn't have the reflexes to see the projectile thrown by Jiang Shui. He only saw the hand movement, felt a blast against the wall to his right, and saw Jiang Shui fall out the sky clutching a hole in his chest. Wait... that wasn't right, Fang Hu had accepted his fate, what the hell happened!?
"Shot through the heart~ You're to blame~ You giv-... Hey you old bastard, that was supposed to kill you, why was that only a lungshot?"
Fang Hu didn't see the rage of Jiang Shui or the bafflement of Xiang. He didn't notice that the newcomer was wearing the leathers of the nomad tribes, and he barely noticed that he was from another world. No, the only thought that was going through Fang Hu's pain addled mind was:
'Is that a FUCKING GUN!?'
