V2 Chapter 8-
Outside of Serpent Falls-
The silhouette of the young human male made itself known to the surroundings, the Dark Emerald Naga that was a bit bigger than a horse beneath him staring coldly at the Ape alliance Familia. Naturally, this was Sol'ixus Hyperius riding on top of "Little Greenie". His emerald eyes remained fixated on the three Ape Gods as he approached the middle of both the Serpent Familia and the Ape Alliance Familia, forming a triangular standoff. The Dark Emerald Naga moved forward slowly between both sides, the Apes unconsciously took a few steps backward.
(How is that a Dark Emerald Naga!!! It's much much too big!!! No wonder! No wonder they weren't scared at all!!!) -Fire Titan Gorilla
The Fire Titan Gorilla King's face changed greatly and sunk into despair as he saw the new arrivals, he knew for sure that things definitely will not go as planned anymore and he would have to risk his life; not just to win but to survive.
As it drew closer, and closer, he became more and more pale and rightfully so. The heavens were fair....sometimes, Dark Emerald Nagas were much too dangerous but the upside was that they remained small and that was very important.
Their bodies which were capable of releasing the poisonous fog could only store the amount of poison proportional to it's size, naturally the bigger a Dark Emerald Naga was; the more poison it could store and the more dangerous it would be.
Luckily they never grew beyond the size of a short-sword, however something this time was terribly wrong. The Dark Emerald Naga before them was the size of an enlarged horse! It was something surely unprecedented because news like this would have made its way around the forest and no beast would have approached Serpent Falls so casually.
Strange enough "Little" Greenie had lost his naivety and his facade arrogance, he had become much more mature and his gaze was cold and solemn as steel. He had become truly arrogant, but this was an arrogance hidden deep within his scales which sprouted from his soul. A sinister light flickered in his cold green eyes as he peered at the crowd of Apes.
[What a disgusting thing!!! No wonder Yulivashjr and Saratava weren't worried!! How can I have missed such a dangerous existence!! The reports were made by the best spies of our tribe, they couldn't be wrong....and that human..how is he riding it?!.. I still cant see his face clearly] -Iron Stone Ape King.
The Iron Stone Ape King had a few drops of cold sweat on his back as he gazed at the arrivals, if they were normal beasts he wouldn't care but he felt a dangerous presence of impending death coming from that emerald fog.
The Storm Wind Ape King wasn't much better off, as he looked at these new arrivals a cold light flickered in his eyes; but the pressure had indeed built up on him and his eyes filled with worry betrayed him. What was certain in the minds of all beasts present, was that a great amount of apes were going to die today if battle ensued and the Dark Emerald Naga decided to come after them.
It didn't matter if they would win in the end because how much of them would actually remain? The Ape soldiers started to worry and morale started dropping rapidly as the S-Ranks among them discussed the fearsome traits of the Dark Emerald Naga making it fall to an even lower extreme.

Suddenly "Little" Greenie drifted forward out of the fog flapping his boneless wings slowly, the wind beneath him keeping him afloat. Suddenly a cold green light flashed within the fog parting it, the face of the young man had finally been revealed to the entire surroundings.
Emerald-golden eyes like that of a bejeweled devil, soul-like golden-emerald hair that fluttered and caressed his broad and muscular back; yet retaining a slender look. Tattoos of green fire orbs, that looked tribal in nature were patterned and scattered across his chest, shoulders and arms.
A huge heavy sword that seemed to be the reaper of souls cloaked in a dim green light, held in one of his hand's giving off a terrifying aura, it softly let out *hissing* noises and the gem on the hilt blinked. On his Back, a Golden bow with an emerald snake engraved around it; likewise giving off a similar aura to the heavy sword.
However, In his left hand was some sort of sharp horn with holes made systematically through it with a serpent engraved on it, though it gave off no aura it still drew caution. If both of the weapons on him were of terrifying quality, how could that weird horn be simple? At least that's what some of the Ape soldiers thought, it even drew minor suspicions from the Ape God Kings.
The appearance of this young man....Handsome? That was a word used for the rich pampered nobles who had normal faces, combed their hair everyday and ate the purest of foods, who slept on silk sheets and dressed lavishly. That was what handsome was, compared to this.
This sort of beauty was different; sharp beautiful features contoured his face with a hint of evil intent which strangely melded perfectly together. His eyes were clear, slightly slanted and gave off an alluring nature. His tanned skin had not a single blemish, a perfect nose and slender lips.
His appeal would make anyone want to draw near to him as he gave off a type of devilish charm that seemed to fit the slight mischievousness in his eyes. This appearance and aura drew one in and made one intoxicated, it did everything to appeal to your senses and it was precisely that which gave off an alarming feel, especially to the Storm Wind Ape King.
The Storm Wind Ape King had lived for far too long and he knew this was a lie! Within the wild the most beautiful things had always been the most dangerous. The Rainbow Lotus, which was an elegant plant that seemed to be made out of glass and it reflected off light giving off a wondrous sight to behold. Likewise it made one want to reach out and touch it, but the second anything touched it; it would turn to stone immediately!
Within the ocean had countless examples! All manners of elegant fish, exotic creatures, breathtaking flowers and plants....that were poisonous to the absolute extreme and could eradicate cities!
Danger!
The Storm Wind Ape King immediately became on guard, he judged this new arrival as a threat to gaining his revenge and also quite possibly his life. All this new arrival of reinforcements needed to do was tie up a single God and the battle would be come an unsure result and that was favorable to the Serpent Familia! He couldn't help but fiercely aim his gaze at Sol. He had subconsciously, by instincts, regarded Sol as a capable enemy worth keeping his gaze on.
Still the threat he felt from Sol was manageable and he believed if he had the opportunity to strike then he could certainly kill this human-like thing with a simple flick of his hands. As he thought these things his gaze happened to slightly lower on Sol's neck, there he saw an emerald serpent in an 8 figure biting it's tail. Sol hadn't realized it, but the herbs he usually used to disguise it had long gone and he didn't pay attention to it; or rather..he ignored it because strange enough he felt for some reason that it was shameful to continue hiding it the mark and he did not like hiding it now.

The Storm Wind Ape King's pale green powerful pupils that held storms within them immediately contracted! Fear had built up and his body violently shook as cold sweat poured from his body!
(That can't be...it surely isn't...How did he retain his sanity?..No...Haha!..There's no way one of them could possibly be born yet no one knows about it. I must be mistaken!) -Storm Wind Ape King
Unsure of himself and doubting his sight, he squinted his eyes to make sure but...the heavens were only fair...sometimes. His expression lost all pride and anger and his teeth gnashed together letting out a terrifying sound. His eyes had revealed pure terror of the highest degree!
The Iron Stone Ape King noticed this change and shifted his gaze at the Storm Wind Ape King in confusion and after seeing his expression, he had an uneasy feeling built up in his heart.
The Storm Wind Ape King's next words stupefied him completely-
[Mutant Hybrid!! Flee!!!!!!] -Storm Wind Ape KIng
This terrified voice rung out and swallowed the atmosphere, morale cracked and shattered like glass in the faces of the Ape Alliance Familia. Their King had turned tail and flee! The arrogant King who spoke such arrogant words had none of his former grace and power and turned tail!
*FLASH*
A deep green fireball immediately shot into the sky exploding as if on queue, naturally this came from Sol.
[Do it now!!!] -Sol
Sol's transmitted mana to his throat and his voice thundered out into the distance, a few movements could be seen in the earth around him in response to his order.
Suddenly holes appeared around the ground in the battlefield, strangely enough these holes were only clustered around the apes and not the serpents! If one looked inside these holes they would notice several hundred brown-colored Earth-Affinity Serpents had came crawling out of them and immediately split apart and scampered in different directions fleeing!
*BOOM*
From these holes, a vicious thick green gas shot out from them completely engulfing the frenzied apes! The Serpent Familia wasted absolutely no time and dove into the gas with their antidotes already inside their bodies! Still, diving head first into the poison was proof of how much they trusted Sol and they didn't need to be ordered!
*BOOOOM*
A loud sound rung out as battle had started! The initial clash 200 Apes had already been slaughtered mercilessly as the surprise attack had completely sent them in disarray! The Serpent Familia had zero casualties thanks to the poison; where ever it passed an ape would fall and the fact that the holes were made directly enclosing them in a circle trapped them all inside it.
Every time the wind-blew in their direction, it would blow the fog towards them, and the strange part was as if the fog had a mind of it's own, it would not move when hit with wind magic and would perfectly retain a circle rather than drift about, sometimes it would even take the initiative to attack them!
If one looked at Sol's eyes then they would make the correlation between the flashes in his eyes, the attacks of the poison fog and the weird hand symbols he created. It was obvious Sol was controlling the poisoned fog!
His hands naturally formed weird symbols which he somehow understood how to use; and his plan was working much more efficiently than predicted. What Sol didn't know was that this was his part of his inheritance from the Emerald Diamond Serpent, whose true name was not known.
He only knew using these hand symbols would help him command poison, especially poison created by him with his own mana signature imprinted within it.
Serpents would dive through the poisoned fog and attack viciously and retreat back into the fog when in danger, they repeated this process as poisonous gas poured incessantly through the holes and firmly kept them with limited movement and overall disability!
This was Sol's plan, he had long told the Earth-Type serpents where to dig and to lay low until he let out a signal. The Earth Type-Serpents followed the pattern Sol described and made something akin to a Bloodmana Wasp hive pattern, but, with exit holes towards the top. He had them make a single hidden entrance point which they used to enter and which became the furnace for the sacks of uniquely made poison to burn and be controlled by Wind pressure.
He told a few Fire-Affinity beasts to lay in wait along with Little Greenie's parents who were Wind-Type beasts and Sol recreated the Bloodmana Wasp Hive incident but this time, there was no explosion. This time the plan was flawlessly executed and perfectly timed. The casualties continued to gradually rise as the fog poured up and became more and more concentrated and only continued to grow in thickness.
The inspiration for this strategy came from watching the Rock Worms as well as the accident in the Bloodmana Wasp hive, it was a terrible but efficient way to spread death and in a sense, it was a bit devious and dreadful. The base poison for this poisoned fog, was the Dark Emerald Naga's poison in a diluted form and it was by no means a pushover.
If that wasn't bad enough for the Ape Alliance Familia, a terrifyingly fast paced melodious sound issued out-
*Whistle**Whistle**Whistle*
Sol begun playing the strange wind-horn in his left hand, a cold light flickered in his emerald gold eyes as he looked at the Ape Familia. The strange thing was, the serpents that heard the sound of this instrument, seemed to be entering a berserk state, their eyes reddened and their viciousness rose to an extreme degree as the rain of blood filled the fields and made them deep red!
The Serpent Familia went mad with bloodlust! Without care for their lives they viciously and savagely attacked using the poison fog as cover!
Serpents had been crushed to dust by Oakberry branches! Apes had been poisoned to death and ripped to shreds by Fangs!
However, the most casualties obviously came from the Apes who felt the initial ruthless ambush and they had begun losing numbers extremely rapidly. With every death of every serpent, Sol became increasingly angrier, these were the parents of the children he took care of. They were now becoming orphans, and that obviously didn't sit well with him.
(I knew it! I knew it! A mutant!) -Storm Wind Ape King
The Storm Wind Ape King seeing this, had gone exceptionally dumb; he immediately flapped his huge white wings and took to the skies. The Storm Wind Ape King was terrified of Mutant Mark holders, he had seen one before centuries ago that destroyed his tribe and killed every living thing within it.
He knew their brutality and overbearing power, he knew they could call forth waves of beasts to slaughter everything in it's surroundings and his panic kept on rising and clouding his mind. The sound of that wind-horn was akin to hearing his own death, the lower the tone, the more terrifying the serpents became and the more savage their attacks were.
Poison had blotted the sky and the screams of apes could be heard as well as battles ringing out and silhouettes flashing withing the fog. As he prepared to escape in all his horror, a voice coldly sounded out from behind him-
[Hahaha!] -Old Black
*Whish*
No one knew when but Old Black had long made her preparations, she had appeared inside the fog and viciously and hastily snapped towards the fleeing King with delight in her eyes, the King upon seeing no where to run had no choice but to fight and swung his weighty Oakberry branch that could pound a mountain into dust towards Old Black!
*Whish* It caught nothing but air! Old Black had already closed in much too quickly and her ambush had succeeded! She used the holes in the floor and directly transported herself through the shadows using her Darkness Affinity and emerged at his blindspot! How could he have possibly predicted that Old Black would use Sol's plan in such a bastard of a manner?
Old Black had minimized part of her body in an instant and dodged the attack seamlessly and fired a deadly counter attack as she bit towards his wing!
*SNAP*
[ARGH!!!!] -Storm Wind Ape King
Old Black had directly bit off one of his wings! The King instantly fell back down from the skies within the poisoned entrapment and crashed heavily into the ground, a dark aura lingering on his half eaten wing.
*BANG*
Not giving him a second to dodge, Old Black instantly increased her size 100 fold using Element Compression and smashed directly into King!
*BANG*
As the dust cleared one could see Old Black's Fangs clashing against the Oakberry branch in the King's arm as he was pressed to the ground! Her smile grew wider, a cold sweat poured on the King's back because he himself was a Mid-Ranked God but as far as he knew, Old Black was also a Mid-Ranked God, but something was strange! He was being pushed around too easily!
(Shit! She really did become a Peak-Ranked God!!) -Storm Wind Ape King
*Crack*
Both the Oakberry branch and his arms let out a ear-piercing noise as they all received cracks and were close to being broken!
*SPLISH*
Suddenly an earthern spike which shimmered like a diamond came shooting from the floor towards Old Black in a split second after the attack not leaving her a second to block! If one looked at the Iron Stone Ape King they would see a cold light flickering in his eyes with one hand pressed onto the floor, it was obvious this attack came from him!
The earthern spike directly pierced Old Black's body and she let out a painful sound as she switched sizes to a much smaller size to reduce the damage, dodge the rest of the spikes and she quickly retreated away.
Old Black coldly stared at the Iron Stone Ape King but the terrifying smile still lingered on her lips, though she didn't get to kill the Storm Wind Ape King; she accomplished her goal of trapping him here. As far as she was concerned, that in and of itself was death.
[Get ahold of yourself!! We will die if we give in!! We can still salvage this!! Look clearly at the human!!] -Iron Stone Ape King
The Iron Stone Ape King urged him as a hint of disdain flashed through his eyes, the Storm Wind Ape King forcefully calmed himself down and retreated to the Iron Stone Ape King's side casting a glance at Sol, gradually he sensed Sol's Dantian was only at the 2nd compression stage. He was now able to see clearly and his fear of the past which had caused him to panic and throw him into a frenzy greatly subsided, but now his gaze held a sliver of a smile.
[....Only 2nd Order Warrior? Hahahahaha it seems I've been played for a fool! How lucky, we managed to encounter a young mutant hybrid, he's only at the 2nd Order Warrior, hahahahaha] -Storm Wind Ape King
It was a pity, this king was such a fool. Sol had tried every manner of methods to be able to advance his Dantian to the second rank but was unable to do so as his body absorbed mana like an endless well.
When the Emerald Diamond Serpent had descended and possessed his body, he had came into contact with a higher grade purity of mana. When his body absorbed a bit of it, only then was he finally able to break through to the 2nd Rank unknowingly.
This Dantian of his was like a separate beast all on it's own and had it's own needs and wants and felt almost alive. Adding to the fact that Sol's body had condensed mana ten times and was finally able to effortlessly carry the Heavy Sword Beast Soul in one hand, this was surely a wolf in sheepskin.
The fact that others would sense he was a 2nd Order warrior, was basically a trap in and of itself. Suddenly, the Storm Wind Ape King began to think about something else as he regained all his confidence.
(2nd Order Warrior?) -Storm Wind Ape King
What was that in the face of a God-Ranked such as himself? A cold light flashed in his eyes, after he settled down he understood the predicament he put himself in. He had lost all his face to every being present when he had lost his mind in turmoil upon seeing a Mutant Mark. Now that he thought about it, he felt ashamed in his heart and cold thoughts surfaced in his mind as a trace of killing intent flickered in his eyes.
(No matter what, today every single living thing in this battlefield must die or I can no longer be a King) -Storm Wind Ape King
He came up with a devious plan right on the spot and whispered to the Iron Stone Ape King. After a while, the both Kings immediately threw their gazes at the Fire Titan Ape King and spoke quietly to themselves.
The Iron Stone Ape King seemed completely unaware of the Storm Wind Ape King's intentions and seemed to be discussing something else entirely as they threw occasional glances the Fire Titan Gorilla.
The Fire Titan Ape King suddenly had a bad feeling and looked at them suspiciously, finally the Storm Wind Ape King called out to him.
[Little brother, we have an important task for you] -Storm Wind Ape King
Hearing this cold tone with a hint of mockery, a sense of dread emerged in his heart and the bad feeling increased greatly.
[What could this powerless little brother possibly do for big brother?] -Fire Titan Ape King
The Fire Titan Ape King lost all of his previous haughtiness and spoke like a weakling, the other two Kings laughed coldly in their hearts. He had wanted to play them just now, now he was going to get played and his true cowardly nature was exposed.
[We need little brother to keep that thing and his Naga occupied for a bit so we big brothers can take care of the real problems] -Storm Wind Ape King
The Storm Wind Ape King coldly spoke but acted sincerely towards the Fire Titan Ape King, however the Fire Titan Ape King was extremely enraged in his heart but said nothing and his smile remained.
How could he not know what they were thinking? They wanted him to go and attack the Naga and make it use it's poison fog with his life on the line. The Naga was only dangerous as long as it had it's fog, so basically he was being chosen to be sacrificed for this job.
[This little brother absolutely cannot hold off a Dark Emerald Naga, big brothers, please rethink this. Perhaps it would be better to do a joint attack with our strongest Peak S-Ranks] -Fire Titan Ape King
He cursed in his heart as he looked at the other Ape Kings and smiled warmly at them,
[What do you mean little brother? Surely you know Peak S-Ranks couldn't possibly withstand a Dark Emerald Naga, but little brother is a God-Ranked. Hmm...Could it be? Little brother wants rewards but no risks?] -Iron Stone Ape King
The Iron Stone Ape King had no intention of defending him, but rather pushed him under the guillotine.
[How can you call us big brothers when you are a coward? I don't want to be the big brother of a coward! Hmph! If you don't want to go, then fine. We will kill you right here for trying to use us] -Storm Wind Ape King
In the beginning he had loved the flattery and praise, but now he had used those words to implicate the Fire Titan Ape King who could only curse in his heart. What's more was that the Storm Wind Ape King had just turned tail and tried to flee and was forced to remain here because his wing was damaged! How could the Fire Titan Ape King forget that? How could the Storm Wind Ape King be so shameless and say something like that after doing it himself?
Would the Fire Titan Ape King reveal his hypocrisy? Clearly not, but he still tried to stay alive and opened his mouth.
[When big brother invited me, he said that this would be as easy as a walk, now that things are not so, this little brother cannot be blamed. Please big brothers, see reason] -Fire Titan Ape King
[Hmph! Enough! GO OR DIE!] -Iron Stone Ape King
The Iron Stone Ape King finally got fed up of this facade, showed his true colors and coldly barked orders at the Fire Titan Ape King. Feeling this level of killing intent made the Fire Titan Ape King hatefully move with his group towards Sol's group slowly and reluctantly as the Dark Emerald Naga came closer and closer into view. What's more terrifying, was that the Dark Emerald Naga was slowly advancing towards him as well.
The Fire Titan Ape King truly wanted to curse the heavens, and burn every living thing alive. He had nowhere to flee within the poison, not that he feared the poison in particular; but he knew that Glowy was looking out for him. He believed the second he came close to the fog, she would attack.
He absolutely was not wrong, since the fog erupted Glowy had been circling the fog waiting for an opportunity as per the plan. The Fire Titan Gorilla King wasn't stupid, after seeing how the plan unfolded he could only silently curse in his heart.
(Whoever came up with this plan is despicable! They have no morals! Disgusting slithering worms!! They have no honor!! How is this a warrior's death!) -Fire Titan Gorilla King
He gnashed his teeth in agony as his cause of death kept approaching. Seeing nothing left, he decided to send all his subordinates to attack Sol before making any movements himself. He used the same options the Iron Stone Ape King gave him to them-
[Go or die!] -Fire Titan Ape King
The Fire Titan Gorillas charged at Sol with tears in their eyes , in utter hatred and despair as they knew they were going to their deaths. They didn't take their eyes off of the Dark Emerald Naga for a single second, after all he would certainly be their deaths.
However what happened next nearly made them jump to the heavens in joy!
[Vritra...go] -Sol
Sol spoke in a low tone towards "Little" Greenie who had earned the new name "Vritra". Vritra immediately floated towards the poisoned fog encirclement. This made the Fire Titan Gorilla King extremely elated, he looked towards Sol as if he were prey and gave a bastard of a smile. He thought Sol was sacrificing himself to save the Serpent Familia by sending Vritra over to assist the Glowy and Old Black.
The Iron Stone Ape King and the Storm Wind Ape King had unsightly expressions as Vritra moved slowly toward them with a cold smile. Sol gave Vritra strict orders not to use his fog unless absolutely necessary, he learned the thought of the Dark Emerald Nag's poisoned fog was much more terrifying that actually deploying it. The fear of the poisoned fog in and of itself was a weapon to be used. Vritra had a special mission, he was given the task of damage control by Sol and where ever serpent beasts were being suppressed, he would show up and implant terror in the ape soldiers saving a lot of lives.
[Hahahah! Human you would willingly give up your life? How foolish, or did you a 2nd Order warrior think you stand a chance against me, a God-Ranked?] -Fire Titan Gorilla King
Sol looked at this blood-furred gorilla and smirked as a hint of ridicule emerged in his eyes. The Fire Titan Gorilla King did not miss that, his pride flared up in all it's arrogance and he pointed toward Sol viciously with glaring eyes.
[You! I will give you one chance, bow before me and accept me as your King and I may make use of you. A Mutant human is a rare pet, there is still some use in you living] -Fire Titan Gorilla
[Haha....Hahahahahahahaha....what a good man....what a good man..hahahaha] -Sol
Sol laughed out loud as he clenched his stomach, naturally this immediately made the Fire Titan Gorilla King outraged; but before he could speak and voice his arrogance a terrifying killing intent burst out from Sol as his expression of humor changed greatly into a fiery anger!
[You trespass into our dwelling place! Threaten the lives of my kin and their young with death! You bring promises of slavery and genocide! You slaughter the parents of the children I've personally raised and make them orphans, now you ask me to bow down before you?! Hahah....Haha! Oh dear little monkey, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! If I don't skin your fur today, I will never be able to look at my own reflection again!!] -Sol
As Sol's cold voice thundered out in the battlefield, this voice contained venomous hatred, incredible fury and a terrible natural savagery. This voice was distorted in complete and utter malevolence, as he spoke, his canines immediately grew out slowly with a frightening sound like bones scratching together.
Seeing this the Fire Titan Gorilla King became pale as the baleful aura erupted by Sol suppressed the incoming Peak S-Ranks in his personal combat force.
(How is this the aura of a 2nd Order Warrior!!!) -Fire Titan Gorilla King
Sol opened his mouth, made a few hand symbols and the poisoned fog encirclement immediately cleared up and went speeding towards Sol! Everyone seeing this became extremely dumb-founded, Sol swallowed the poison fog! They all knew how dangerous the fog was, even the serpents who took the antidotes dared not breathe too much of it and Sol had just casually consumed it in front of their very eyes.
*BOOM*
His aura erupted and he became covered in a dense emerald soul-like green, Sol advanced on foot slowly toward the Fire Titan Gorilla King and where ever he stepped, the plants would dry up, decay and then burn into cinders. Was it fire or poison? No one could tell.
[Unholy aura!] -Sol
The emerald aura was both fire, poison, as well as light. One of Sol's Combination Affinity techniques and it was called "Unholy aura". Sol lifted his Heavy Sword with a single hand and pointed it towards the Fire Titan Gorilla King.
[Come!] -Sol
Being ordered around immediately angered the Flaming King, who stretched out his hands toward his subordinates and ordered coldly.
[GO! Whoever kills him will be awarded 100 Flame Soul herbs!!] -Fire Titan Gorilla King
Hearing this, the Peak S-Ranks immediately became aggressive; Flame Soul herbs greatly helped cultivation and many of these guys had dreamed of becoming God-Ranks. They looked at Sol coldly and then instantly charged!
They didn't hesitate for a single second and all wanted to be the person to strike down this human, even though they thought he was powerful; they didn't believe he was capable of killing so many Peak S-Ranks even if his power was a bit abnormal. To these Fire Titan Gorillas who had remained at Peak S-Rank for quite some time, this was an attractive deal; not that they could refuse anyway.
**ROAR**
Two roars in unison rung out as two silhouettes immediately rushed out from the emerald fog behind Sol which accompanied him to the battlefield! The sheer speed was enough to terrify the Peak S-Ranks to halt their charge as they gazed at these two formidable enemies
Golden-Emerald scales, huge muscular serpentine bodies, one had a vicious look and green soul-colored fire leaked from it's mouth. The other looked eerily calm but it's eyes betrayed it's enraged attitude, green drops leaked from this one and it burned holes into the earth.
Hydrian and Hydreas immediately dove into the crowd of Peak S-Ranks!
*BANG*
One sprayed terrible green fire, the other sprayed terrible armor-eating acid and constantly slaughtered the Peak S-Ranks and normal S-Ranks who were numbered roughly 100 in number! Everywhere Hydreas went, trails of fire followed after her as she ruthlessly burned her enemies and ripped them to shreds in an unforgivable manner!
Hydrian sprayed acid and changed her forms to attack with incredible speed very similarly to Old Black, as the sunlight shined on her scales, she used her physical advantages and Light Affinity to merciless rip and shred and even coiled multiple apes and crushed them into bloody meat paste!
Seeing this the Fire Titan Gorilla King's face twitched a bit but he knew he was capable of killing them and just as he was about to take action, he noticed a flash of light from Sol's direction.
A red fireball gathered and compressed in front of Sol's mouth, poison leaked out from his enlarged canines and merged into the fireball changing it's color to a soul-like green! The green fireball then started flickering intensely as an emerald light merged into it from Sol's body! This was another three way affinity combination attack!
[Infernal Acidic Beam!] -Sol
The powerful soul-like green beam shot out from Sol's mouth covering a 90 degree arc as his hair flew wildly into the sky, the light from the beam revealing his animalistic features completely terrified the soldier apes who were caught up in it's atmosphere! It carried the immense heat of a blazing inferno, the speed of light and where ever it passed poison dispersed in the atmosphere decaying everything!
It shot directly towards the Fire Titan Gorilla King who couldn't help but remained where he was to receive it! It was much too fast to dodge! Seeing no other alternative, the Fire Titan Gorilla King immediately let out a roar as fire filled the tip of his Willow Ember Spear and he rotated it with a blazing hot fire and pierced towards the Infernal Acidic Beam like a drill!
*BOOM*
The collision caused a loud explosion that sent shockwaves throughout the battlefield! The Fire Titan Gorilla King astonishingly took a few steps backward as a tiny trickle of blood leaked from his mouth. He took his hand and passed it near his lips and looked at the blood on his fingers.
[Blood...?...How?] -Fire Titan Gorilla King
The Fire Titan Gorilla King looked at Sol with a strange gaze, it seems he had indeed drew the short straw and his face paled.
[You must be really confident in yourself. To turn your back on me and go after my children, I've seen more than enough for today. Look over there, I will show you what despair looks like] -Sol
As Sol coldly spoke, he pointed towards the poison encirclement which had faded after being consumed, inside of it were less than 400 living apes, more than half had already died and the numbers were now approximately even with the Serpent Familia. Glowy and Old Black engaged in a fierce battle with the Iron Stone Ape King and Storm Wind Ape King creating craters of earth and fields of fire as their battles became increasingly dramatic.
The Fire Titan Gorilla looked at this an his expression became ugly, he turned back to look at Sol only to see his eyes emotionlessly looking back at him. There was something about Sol's expression that disturbed him, it seemed to be saying "It's going all according to plan".
[When you decided to come here...did they tell you what you would meet here? When you thought of Serpent Falls, what sort of place did you think it was? Did you have no idea what sort of creatures lurk in the rivers here? Have you ever seen where we live personally? Have you ever entered our forests or drank from our streams? Have you ever personally hunted a creature within our borders?
You know what I think? I think you did none of these things and yet you showed up here, led by the nose with promises of rewards and lies!
I think you've never seen the streams of blood that blankets our rivers, the waterfalls that bleed red and the reflection of the sunlight that warms our valleys with rivers of blood; the thick blood coating the atmosphere in a red murky scent that's almost visible to the eye like a tasty red fog.
I think you've never truly lived amongst predators a single day in your life.
I think you've never stepped a single foot inside our territory because something would have surely viciously bitten at your ankles and taught a puppet fool like you his due lesson.
I think you are a stupid and ignorant being that was manipulated by slightly smarter beings and made into a scapegoat to cover their debts.
However, these things could indeed all be wrong but you know which thought I have absolute confidence in? The one where you don't leave here alive, because that isn't a thought but an irrefutable fact, nothing that enters Serpent Falls ever leaves alive and of that I'm absolutely certain. You...You really have terrible luck] -Sol
The Fire Titan Gorilla king had come to a shocking realization, this was all planned by the human. From the beginning, right up to current phase, they were being manipulated by the 15 year old looking human. From emotion, to actions and everything was within his expectations.
The true battle was about to begin-

This novel was rewritten with the following goals in mind: -A 'human' MC, that struggles underneath the weight of his past emotions and slowly grows as a person as he deals with past trauma and regret. A relatable protagonist whose actions are in line with his motivations, who may be amiable or ruthless depending on the stakes presented. (Caucasian male protagonist, set in the modern world with alien 'induction' into the cultivation world.) - Competent antagonists that have their own goals and ambitions, instead of always targeting the MC for plot convenience. - An original cultivation system. - Interesting and well fleshed out enemy archetypes. - Hell mode challenge right off the bat. - Lots of action and fighting with psychological elements. - My vision of what a cultivation novel should be like. This is the rewrite of the original Enigma's Multiverse, the first version reads more like a skeleton or a first draft as it was my very first work and I've come a long way since then. A lot of things from the original will be tweaked/enhanced, so it might just end up as a completely different work. Cover Credits- Instagram @just_anime_art_things
