V2 Chapter 5-
Within Serpent Falls-
A silhouette nimbly climbed the huge thorny vines around the waterfall swiftly making it's way up jumping from branch to branch. His golden hair fluttering behind him like a serpent as he climbed higher and higher, wrapped around his wrist an emerald serpent enjoying the wind in it's face, naturally this person was Sol'ixus Hyperius and the passenger was little greenie.
As he got on top of a particular waterfall, he noticed two familiar green slithering silhouettes and made his way towards them.
[Little greenie, your parents are here. Go to them] -Sol
Sol rubbed the little guy's head who turned to look at the incoming familiar green S-Rank serpents. Upon seeing it's parents, the little green guy had a look of disdain in his eyes. The parents upon seeing this became enraged, and sped towards him; the little green guy immediately flapped his wings and flew off in fear leaving his wingless parents to watch him in anger.
Sol sighed and gave a bitter smile to the parents along with an apologetic look, they shook their heads as if saying "No! You've tried your best! That damned thing is too arrogant!". Afterward the parents chased after the little green guy to surely teach him a lesson once he ran out of energy from flying.
Sol laughed at this comical family, then shifted his gaze toward Old Black's waterfall and in a flash disappeared from the vine he was standing on. He cast a fleeting glance at the river below and the huge water fall with a bit of curiosity as he noticed he hadn't seen Glowy in a few days and found it was strange.
After a few nimble leaps, he quickly appeared on top of Old Black's waterfall. A black fog greeted him on the way up but seemed to become lighter as it sensed Sol's presence. Old Black had long sensed Sol coming and opened it's green murky eyes when it saw the familiar figure.
[Oh...little one, you came back..you seem a lot stronger today, how was the hunt?] -Old Black
Sol quickly bowed as the gentle voice entered his mind; and replied excitedly-
[Yes Matriach, I hunted a few S-Ranks today, the most difficult prey today was a Centaur Mantis. I even got ambushed by a Peak S-Rank Flaming Eagle, It seems those guys can't be taken lightly] -Sol
[Haha..Indeed little one, peak S-Ranks are no joke and are the step before God-phase. They are worlds apart from a usual S-Rank. I'm guessing you're poison did the trick?] -Old Black
Sol showed a confused expression which Old black picked up on and smiled inwardly.
[Actually I would like to talk about that, well certainly the poison scared it to some extent...but I could feel as though he was lingering around in the air somewhere. The trace of killing intent lingered for quite sometime as I hunted and I knew for sure he was probably watching me from somewhere, then when I fed little greenie; the killing intent disappeared.
At first I thought it was strange but I didn't pay any attention to it, then after that, we encountered a pack of Rabid Wind Wolves. Then like before, when the leader and the pack noticed little greenie they ran away peeing themselves. I noticed that whenever little greenie is around and visible, enemies would stay away and it would be unusually quiet.
Matriach....this can't be a coincidence can it? I mean the little guy acts arrogant but...somehow I feel he has the qualifications] -Sol

Sol upon saying this sounded a bit embarrassed, but this is what his instincts told him; and they haven't been wrong since.
[Hahaha!...Oh so you've finally noticed huh!] -Old Black
Old Black let out a joyous laugh that thundered in Sol's mind. Old Black's gaze became mysterious as she stared at Sol and then spoke once more; her expression clearly enjoying Sol's reaction and wanting to see what face he would show next.
[Little one, do you believe in beings that are born as powerful as Gods?] -Old Black
Sol hearing this became awestruck, and looked at Old Black with a blank look. The figure of the tiny arrogant emerald-colored serpent flashed in Sol's mind.
[Born as powerful as Gods you say...?] -Sol
Old Black nodded and revealed eyes filled with the wisdom of ages-
[There are creatures born to be Gods, that little guy is one. He's different from the rest though, he has no combat abilities and he won't grow bigger than that but believe me when I say his poison even at his current level will make even an early stage God go mad with pain!!!] -Old Black
Sol hearing this became stupid! He looked at Old Black and finally understood why all those guys ran away!
[He's called a Dark Emerald Naga, one of the most dangerous existences alive. They are born with the ability to explode a poison fog from it's body, this poison fog is ranked in the top 10 most dangerous kinds among the poison using beasts.
It eradicates everything it comes into contact with and rather than a poison fog it should be called a death fog. Even bones do not remain under this sort of poison. I have a friend who is a Dark Emerald Naga, he's a God-Ranked and no creature ever dares enter his territories aside from me, Glowy and a few others.
His lands are barren!! Not a corpse or a tree in sight!! What's even more fearsome is that these Dark Emerald Nagas have fangs that can pierce Peak S-Rank armor easily from the moment they are born. The poisoned fog is indeed very dangerous, but in comparison to the poison in it's fangs; it's simply a joke. The poison in their fangs causes one immense agony and pain, like being slowly eaten from the inside out. It would only last an hour at most, but that hour is enough to make one regret living] -Old Black
[Not only that, but the poison permanently drains your life force, even if you survive the poison somehow; chances are you will still remain at death's door and other creatures wouldn't dare try to eat you. Tell me, why wouldn't they run? Did you know that there is an attribute specially reserved for some of us beasts that humans don't have?] -Old Black
Sol was surprised but after thinking for a while..he slowly muttered as if questioning his own words.
[Poison..attribute?] -Sol
Old Black nodded with pleasure as a great look of pride filled her eyes.
[The beings that possess poison attributes are one of the most dangerous kinds of existences, this tiny Dark Emerald Naga is also one] -Old Black
Sol nodded and agreed, beasts reacted on instincts strongly even though they had intelligence and that was rightly so for S-Ranks who only slightly possessed some intelligence. God-Ranks and some Peak S-Ranks were different and were capable of setting aside urges to make proper decisions. The evidence that little greenie was feared by them so greatly couldn't be a misjudgement. Old Black then hesitated for a bit and then spoke-

[I can see he favors you greatly, one day when you leave here to go on your journey, he will most likely tag along] -Old Black
Sol was surprised and looked at Old Black with confusion-
[What about his parents?..Shouldn't he stay here and protect Serpent Falls? Having him around here will be a good thing. In the future--] -Sol
*Psh*
Old Black interrupted Sol, and pushed him off the waterfall gently with her tongue.
[When that time comes, I'll be counting on you to take care of the little green one] -Old Black
Her voice sounded out in Sol's mind and before he could voice any objections; he fell towards the water.
*Splash*
When Sol resurfaced, he noticed Old Black was gone, which was very rare.
**
The next day, Sol woke up and looked towards Old Black's waterfall, he noticed Glowy was up there and she looked rather wounded, Old Black was also up there but was unharmed as usual.
Sol called out the twins, he could see Hydreas wanted to go hunt and as usual she knew the rules and quickly disappeared in the thick forest. Hydrian remained in her usual spot around Sol's neck and accompanied him to Old Black's waterfall.
He quickly hopped up the vines and made his way on top, there he saw both Guardians and a few S-Ranks he were familiar with. These particular S-Ranks were the patrols that moved through Serpent Falls and around it's borders. These guys were all peak S-Ranks and they carried a deadly aura, they noticed Sol and a few nodded their heads as they were quite familiar with them and Sol looked after some of their children.
Little greenie's parents were there and they were a species called Green Veined Naga, they actually grew big in size and were much bigger than little greenie and their combat statistics were absurdly balanced. Poison, combat, strength, speed and intelligence were above average but not overly overbearing and were considered the most balanced type of serpent.
Even though they were considered balanced, they were anything but; how could a common existence give birth to little greenie? Their balanced traits was exactly what made them extremely dangerous, adding to the fact that they possessed poison affinity there were few who could ignore their existences. However, this was not enough to consider them a leading power within Serpent Falls, they owed that reason to something else entirely.
Though they weren't peak S-Ranks, they possessed a rare combination technique that made them on par with any Peak S-Rank or maybe even surpassed them. They acquired a trait called Affinity fusing, a trait which beasts could display once they have complete compatibility with one another. This sort of trait were only restricted to particular beasts with special element affinities that were capable of fusing their body structure, such as: Poison, Light and Darkness elements.
Very few beasts were capable of this, however little greenie's parents were one of those rare existences. Together they could ravage any peak S-Ranks above their grade with incredible ease.
Also, there was a Flood-Dragon who was dark blue in color and he also lived within the river with Glowy. This guy had two massive claws that gleamed with an intense light, a muscular serpentine body riddled with fins that were as sharp as blades which only added to his vicious like dragon appearance. His control of the water element magic was absolutely superb and fighting him near water was indeed a terrible choice.
Among them was also a variant species called Dread-scaled Basilisk, these were a rare serpentine beast that possessed 4 legs. Their bodies were extremely hard and durable, with scales cloaked in darkness and truly did not lose out amongst it's peers in attack power or viciousness. Aside from their tough steel-like scales, they also had spikes on their backs that were laced with paralytic poison and gleamed like the sowing needle of a God.
Another of the attendants was a Peak S-Rank 5 headed Hydra, it's body was white in color and it's heads looked extremely dreadful and had streaks of different colors on them. Rows of teeth that shined and glistened at all times, the fact that it had golden-colored eyes was proof of it's Light affinity and it absolutely did not look like an easy beast to deal with. Hydras naturally possessed high regenerative abilities and this fearsome beast possessed Light affinity as well which only served to make him a more terrifying existence.
Hydras were fierce and savage creatures and were extremely territorial, obsessively so. If someone intruded, they would rush in rage regardless of the strength difference. Using their regenerative properties and saliva that could well be called acid, It would be an incredibly bloody battle just to bring an end to a creature such as them.
Sol knew the capabilites of this beast at first glance because he could already picture it, All he needed to do was picture a five headed Hydrian, unless it was destroyed into dust it probably wouldn't die so easily. However at this very moment even this powerful guy had a tense atmosphere around him that did not escape Sol's eyes.
Sol noticed this weird atmosphere and didn't speak but instead looked worriedly at the group as he sensed the disturbance.
[Sol..you're here, good; come over here] -Glowy
Glowy immediately called Sol over towards him.
[Lady Matriach, what's happening? and why are you wounded so badly?] -Sol
Sol quickly made his way over to her and started chewing a few herbs and rubbing it along the wounds on her body. Seeing the worried look in Sol's eyes, Glowy felt warm in her heart and looked at him with a gentle gaze. She remembered the time this human came stumbling down a water way and was scared at every action she made, how much she liked seeing those terrified expressions on his handsome face.
Now his handsome face possess unrivaled fierceness and a sense of reliability.
Suddenly Glowy constricted her body, wrapping Sol up like a helpless little animal. A huge flash of light quickly covered her body and when Sol re-opened his eyes. A beautiful woman about 25 years of age appeared before him, long red-hair and red fierce eyes. A light red veil covered her red body, and her arms were currently wrapped around Sol.
Sol was surprised and his jaw dropped, not because she was beautiful but because she looked extremely similar to Zee.
[Hahaha! I wanted to see that expression!! That's the one I wanted to see!! Ahaha!] -Glowy
A beautiful laughter like silver bells rung out in Sol's eyes as a beautiful fragrance filled his nostrils. His face became red hot as he stared surprised and embarrassed at the beautiful human-like appearance of Glowy hugging him.
[Hmm..I told you not to tease him too much, what if he falls in love with you..Zeshala wouldn't like that you know. A soul beast trying to steal its master's mate, how rude] -Old Black
As Glowy was torturing the innocent-minded Sol, a black clothed woman about 25 years of age whose black dress clutched her body and walked over. She had long black hair and was covered in a slight layer of darkness, her deep dull green eyes would make anyone shiver but it gave her a different kind of sharper beauty.
Sol immediately understood this was Old Black from the familiar tone, however he didn't think she should be called Old Black at all.
Her appearance did not lose out at all to Glowy and was remarkably beautiful, She walked with an air of confidence that made others want to bow before her. Sol understood this was the God-aura, and the two women in front of him gave off the feeling of immense power along with a terrifying aura.
[Fall in love with me? Hahaha can't you see how red his face is? It's already happened!] -Glowy
As Glowy spoke, she suddenly tightened her grip on Sol and rubbed her body along his. Seeing this Old black lost her patience and send a wave of darkness rippling towards her.
(This thieving little snake...) -Old Black
[Ahh!! Okay Okay!! I'm done!] -Glowy
Glowy quickly released Sol whose brain was currently releasing several different types of steam and unable to think clearly. After Sol calmed down, the Matriachs both looked towards him and he could sense the air of seriousness and regained his bearing.
[Sol, I'm guessing you can already sense the changes in Serpent Falls right?] -Old Black
Sol nodded immediately and Glowy continued.
[Remember the Storm Wind Ape King I killed? Right...well It's Familia intends to come back for revenge. Along with them, they made an alliance with some of our old foes called the Iron Stone Apes. Very soon they will descend on Serpent Falls] -Glowy
As Glowy said this she couldn't help but release a terrible killing intent, it was at times like these that Sol remembered she was a ruthless killer when need be.
[All of the young ones of Serpent Falls will be in danger very soon, that's how deep our enmity with them goes. Although we are a direct branch of the Lamia race, we only use their name because of our master Zeshala to give another layer of protection to our young ones. In reality we are only one of the areas under the dominion of Lamias and as attacks like these are carried out on quite a few Serpent Familia nests they naturally won't prioritize us, especially since we are considered one of the weaker nests.
Were it not for our master Zeshala who allowed us to build this sanctuary and use her name to deter other more powerful beasts, this place would have long become desolate. Also, we are an independent Familia and we are exempt from Lamia rule so naturally we can't expect the Lamias to stand behind us on every battle and so sometimes we must risk our lives in battle to protect our home. Very soon battle will come and our young ones will be in grave danger] -Old Black
Old Black upon saying this, then looked at Sol's eyes to see his reaction and was surprised to see the beast-like coldness lurking inside. Sol had raised most of the young serpents during his time here, he fed them poison remnants and looked after them and even hunted for them. A lot of the times, he would take out his horned instrument and play music for them to fall asleep and they would sometimes sleep in his cave for days.
His pupils contracted like a serpent's as a deep fire burned within them, the twins came out from his arms and seemed to be snapping their jaws in anger as they felt Sol's emotions.
Soul beasts were always quite sensitive to their master's emotions, they could feel the slightest of changes; naturally stronger emotions were also transmitted. Sol's Soulbeasts were also different and shared a much more deeper bond and so they already knew his mind state.
Suddenly a tiny silhouette came gliding towards Sol, an emerald colored little guy with tiny bony wings that just seemed to be blown with the wind. Naturally this was little greenie. Sol picked him up and then
[Good..Good..I have quite a few poisons I wanted to try out, little greenie we have work to do. We will see if I can make Gods Fall] -Sol
A cold and detached voiced issued out along with a terribly sinister smile that made even Glowy shiver appeared on Sol's face, Glowy quickly became elated after as she glanced at Sol.
(He's Indeed how I thought he would be after he grew up, ruthless and cruel when he needs to be, forgiving and kind to those he likes....Unfortunately master has her eyes on him..Still..) -Glowy
Old Black as if understanding Glowy's thoughts gave a chilly glare, Glowy looked to the side and whistled an unsuspecting tune. Old Black then shifted her gaze towards Sol and then to little greenie and spoke.
[Sol, actually we wanted you to take this little guy and leave before the battle...] -Old Black
Sol was astonished and looked at Old Black with confusion in his eyes. Old Black then continued-
[Actually, this is the most important mission. In case something bad happens, this little guy can replace us if things go bad but so long as he is alive and well. That's why we need you to take care of him until after the battle] -Old Black
[But I want to help--] -Sol
Old Black walked over to the seated Sol, rubbed his head gently and then looked at him warmly.
[You've done so much here and you're part of the Familia now, that's why we can entrust you with the most important task of protecting our young. You won't just be taking little greenie but all of the young ones with you, besides don't worry do you think Glowy and I are that weak?] -Old Black.
Glowy fumed upon hearing the name.
[Don't call me Glowy!! Call me Big Red like everyone else!!] -Glowy
Sol seeing this looked at them and then looked at little greenie solemnly with clear struggle in his eyes, a terrible unwillingness emerged in his heart. How could he not know what they were trying to do? How could he not know that he was still too weak? How could he not know they were actually caring for him?
The Matriachs knew his feelings, and the other S-Ranks could see it clearly, they themselves never believed they would actually feel such a way about human before. Through time and observation, they noticed his sincerity and how he could live at peace in the wild and not be as greedy as the human folk they've heard about.
Little greenie looked in Sol's eyes and seeing his distress it wanted to cheer him up, suddenly a smirk appeared on it's face as if saying "You really think we'll just abandon them? Let's play along for now"
Sol was surprised but then laughed inwardly, he suddenly felt a lot better. Indeed, he would never run. If he needed to leave Hydrian and Hydreas to protect the young ones and find a good spot for them to hide, he would do so; he would never run.
Sol then looked up at Old Black with a mysterious gaze.
[Okay I will go, I will take them and I will return] -Sol
Old Black seemed to be surprised, but she had a bad feeling and she didn't believe he would accept so easily. Sol then immediately backed away while carrying little greenie and then made a fake sorrowful face, which could easily be seen through as his mind was too fuddled thinking about herbs to notice.
[Then I will go prepare for bat-, *clears throat* to retreat and I have no plans of returning until after the battle] -Sol
Sol suspiciously disappeared while mumbling something about herbs.
Old Black, Glowy and the rest of S-Ranks stood there dumb-founded.
[....He's not going anywhere is he?..Bwahahaha That's how a snake should be!] -Hydra
The Hydra let out a boisterous laugh and little greenie's parents seemed to understand that Sol would never go anywhere. The Flood Dragon simply shook his head.
[You should have predicted this...Now that this child has access to even more powerful venom thanks to that naga, he will certainly plot something. I'm curious to see what it will be next..] -Flood Dragon
The Flood Dragon seemed to be pleased and the Hydra laughed savagely, seeing this the other S-Ranks had a warm feeling within their hearts towards Sol. Old Black and Glowy watched Sol's fading back into his cave and sighed. Old Black then shifted her gaze to little greenie's parents.
[Well you saw for yourself, You two will have to lead the young ones out to safety as planned] -Old Black
Little greenie's parents nodded as they expected as such, they were indeed expecting Sol to stay. They knew his capabilities and his temperament all too well and if it became too dangerous for him, they already placed several escape plans in motion to protect him.
While all this was going a red shadow, seemed to be lurking behind a tree, her red hair flew into the wind and revealed a beautiful face filled with worry. Naturally this was Zee, she didn't want to stop him because she knew he would probably forever hate her if disaster fell on Serpent Falls.
Though she was stronger and regained a bit of her blood essence she was still weak, not only that but she had been summoned to the Lamia's nest and couldn't be here for the battle otherwise she was sure she could deter the both Ape Familias with simply her presence. This area was governed and created by her, and as such was her responsibility but she had been weakened from the mark and wouldn't be able to scare them away.
There were so many territories under the Lamias control, they wouldn't be able to track down every enemy, nor was it their duty. As long as one of theirs wasn't hurt they wouldn't step into the affairs of lesser beasts, but Zee had been summoned and this was what tore her apart. She had no choice but to leave-
**
Meanwhile a few hours later, Back in Sol's cave-
A deep green glint flickered within his eyes, as he extracted venom from little greenie extremely carefully. A wet cloth around his face and making swift actions surrounded by herbs. Sol lifted his head away from little greenie and stared at the doorway as he sensed Hydrian's presence, she seemed to be carrying something in her mouth and was in a smaller form.
Seeing this, Sol's eyes lit up and couldn't help but ask impatiently.
[Did you get it?] -Sol
Hydrian hearing Sol's excited face, showed a proud expression as she spat out a deep green herb from her mouth. Her expression was quite pale as she brought the herb, and a few dark green veins ran throughout her white body making her look pale. Sol quickly fed her a few herbs and the dark veins faded with the help of her light element.
The herb gave off a terrible aura, for a while now Sol had seen it, but because of where it was located he was unable to acquire it. It even had a nest of poison insects that were capable of killing S-Ranks Sol wanted absolutely nothing to do with it, these little guys were too deadly and the only person capable of retrieving the herb was Hydrian.
He would have never sent Hydrian on such a risky mission if the circumstances were different, but Hydrian wanted to help Sol badly and urged to go. Naturally after hearing quite a few rules to keep her safe was she allowed to go and excitedly ran off, Zee saw this laughed and followed Hydrian to make sure she was safe, Sol truly treated them like children and was always a funny sight to see.
**
As Hydreas returned and spat the dark green herb in front of Sol, Zee appeared from the doorway and made her presence known.
[Finally you show up, though hiding behind a tree does suit you...it scares me] -Sol
Sol spoke without changing his glance from the vial before him as it was too dangerous to do, even talking was risking his life.
[Hmph! Well I have to check up every now and then to make sure you're not a corpse] -Zee
Zee's irritated voice reached Sol's ears, the cold and emotionless sound of it was like music to his ears and made his lips curve upward
[Why? So you can have your way with me and then abandon me?] -Sol
Sol laughed out loud which angered the Red-haired Lamia and made her approach Sol fiercely, seeing this Sol cried out in alarm and quickly covered the lid of the vial in fear it may fall on him or her.
[Okay, Okay!! Haha!! I promise, I won't say anything rude again] -Sol
Zee looked at him viciously and paused her advance, she folded her arms on her chest subconsciously emphasizing her upper body which made Sol stupid for a second, the vial slipped from his hand and hit little greenie on his head. The little green serpent immediately became angered and seemed to make a range of expressions at Sol expressing his displeasure.
Sol laughed at him, quickly picked up the vial as such a deadly poison couldn't be allowed to drip on his skin all jokes aside. Sol saw her face became serious and knew what she wanted to say. He interrupted her with a raised hand-
[I'm going to fight] -Sol
Sol's laughing expression became serious and resolute as he said these words and looked at her with eyes filled with vitality. Even anger could be seen hidden deep within those eyes, even a momentary beast-like appearance emerged. Zee momentarily became dazed by this firmness in him and stared off into the distance out of the cave, after a while she then spoke softly.
[Suit yourself...] -Zee
She turned around and then left immediately with a heavy heart although it did not show on her face , Sol watched her lovely slender departing back calmly with warmth in his eyes. How could he not know what she was going to say? Sol thought this girl was extremely loving, just did not act on her emotions and suppressed them.
As Sol was left to his own devices, the once more sinister expression appeared. His lips were smiling but it had yet to reach his eyes. With a slight cut on his wrist, he emptied blood within the vial.
All manners of fogs puffed up from this vial. He took a look at the Dark green herb in front of him, the tiny bits of grass that it sat on completely eroded and dried up of all life. He immediately began cutting it up and grinding parts, he made great use of the roots and increased the toxicity of this poison to a whole new level.
Little greenie sniffed this poison, his head went woozy and fell splat on the ground half dead making Sol go pale with fright. After performing what appeared to be CPR, little greenie blew out a cloud of green vapor from it's mouth with a burp and looked at Sol with an expression as if it had been violated.
The Green poisoned fog lifted up and glowed an emerald color giving it an out-of-the-world type feel. Sol nudged little greenie's head, who opened his mouth and lightly blew, the wind element followed out and gently pushed the vapor cloud towards the exit.
Sol and little greenie dared not attempt to move that vapor cloud themselves, how could he not know what he made? The emerald colored vapor cloud trailed outside and dispersed into the atmosphere, at the same time a flight of birds flew by straight into the diluted poisoned air. What appeared afterward falling from the sky were the skeleton bones of those tiny birds.
Sol intensely looked at the vial, then poured it into a smaller shell, he coated the outside of this smaller shell in Earth-Seeping poison which he used against the Rock Worms and then placed the smaller shell in another slightly larger shell filled with medicinal wine and quickly sealed it.
Sol took out a quill from his runic ring, and began writing on this shell. What Sol wrote on this specific shell was - "Invitation of the Skeleton King". As he gazed at this abomination of a poison, his eyes glittered a slight green and gently placed it in his runic ring wrapped in cloth.
Even little greenie had no idea his poison could create something so devious and a slight fear grew in his eyes. He had never once before ever been afraid of poison and it was the last thing he was scared of...before today.
What made it even more fearful, was the human that handled these poisons. Every time Sol made a poison like this, it wouldn't be a joke to say he was basically walking along death's door each and every single time. Poison even started permanently gathering at his fingertips after soaking his fingers in all manners of poisons, constantly over the months.
Unknown to Sol this exposure to poison started irritating his X-Factor from the Eternity pill. Being under the constant assault of poison slowly each and everyday, from the air he breathed, to the food he ate where poison still lingered on his fingertips; how could the X-factor in his body remain silent? In a rage it latched onto that green vapor inside Sol's body and began consuming it.
The blue strains of weird energy flowed through his bloodstream after being excreted from every single piece of tissue that made up his being. The "Invitation of the Skeleton King" had greatly assaulted Sol's body and made him weeze blood, irritating the X-factor even further, he started coughing up mouthfuls of blood which greatly terrified the twins and little greenie.
Suddenly Sol felt as though he should meditate as he felt a bit sick, he quickly sat down cross-legged and immediately sunk into the depths of a lake inside his conscious. He started revolving the mana inside his Dantian, the mana streams gathered from the surroundings and quickly entered Sol's body, a strand of green lingered from the poison vapor and also entered through Sol's pores unknown to him.
As he exhaled, Sol felt his body becoming more and more sickly. Little greenie all of sudden stared intently at Sol, feeling a change in his body, it all of a sudden became elated and lost it's terrified expression.
Little greenie immediately dived toward Sol's chest, and in a flash of emerald light entered his chest in a green foggy form becoming a green/yellow tattoo of a coiled serpent on Sol's chest. It started glowing, and slowly turning from green/yellow to yellow to red and then back to green and then to multi-colored and remained constantly changing. Throughout this process Sol felt incredible pain in his body, as if it were being eaten away but he bit his lip and endured through this soul-wrenching pain. He looked down at the tattoo and was surprised to find out the tattoo was changing colors rapidly like a rainbow and the pain intensified.
