《The Voice of the World》Character Sheets: Update One

The character sheets below reflect the party's state just prior to the fight with Seraptis. I have not included the events of the end of last chapter here, since none of the party has had a chance to see the results yet.

Notes
1. Apparently when compiling this, I realized I'd listed Jason's Endurance incorrectly. It's supposed to be 11, and I wrote down 12 in Chapter 2; I'll go back and edit that later. It's not especially important, just has to do with how I'm calculating derived statistics. There is math there, it's not just arbitrary. With 3 full sheets to look at, I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of you can figure it out!

2. If it wasn't clear from chapter 4, Jason still has the second 'half' of the frogoid brain; essentially he got 2 item drops, one for each hemi. Flowers work the same way - One flower might grant 2 [Iparea Petals], where 1 [Iparea Petals] means a small handful of individual petals as a single item drop, which all need to be used together as a single ingredient.
3. Jason's 'Superior Quality Multitool' is the system's way of saying 'Unbranded Steel Swiss Army Knife'
Lumiriel Dun'Val, Spellblade
Basic Statistics Name: Lumiriel Dun'Val Race: Human (Outworlder) Gender: Female Primary Class: Spellblade 1 SP: 160/160 MP: 210/210 Might: 11 Agility: 14 Intellect: 16 Endurance: 15 Charisma: 16 Spirit: 18 Fortitude: 20 Awareness: 17 Appeal: 13 Magic Resistance: 21 Resolve: 16 Luck: 15 Skills and Ranks Basic Armor Use, Rank 1, Class (Suspended).

Rusty Longsword, Crude Frogskin Pack, Crude Frogskin Pack, Crude Frogskin Cup
Notes
1. Lumiriel's Spellblade class only gains XP from spells she casts in ways related to her class' role; namely, combat. Just as Jason doesn't get Alchemist XP from basic crafting, but does get it from harvesting, brewing, and analyzing, Lumiriel's class gains XP from buff spells and using magic in combat, but not daily utility use. As of the point in the story this sheet reflects, she hasn't had a chance to use her [Cantrips] in combat since taking the class, so she's still at 0%.
2. Lumi spent her stat point on Might, for the curious.

3. It hasn't been directly mentioned, but Lumi elected to unequip Knight entirely so she could set Spellblade as her primary, instead of making it secondary or a subclass of Knight.
Kerali Vakar, Beast-Bonded
Basic Statistics Name: Kerali Vakar Race: Human (Outworlder) Gender: Female Primary Class: Beast-Bonded Mage 1 SP: 100/100 MP: 120/120 Might: 9 Agility: 12 Intellect: 14 Endurance: 8 Charisma: 13 Spirit: 10 Fortitude: 8 Awareness: 17 Appeal: 10 Magic Resistance: 14 Resolve: 9 Luck: 20 Skills and Ranks Analyze Beast, Rank 1, Class.

None
Notes
1. Kera's Monster Magic skill cost her a whopping 5 points to purchase, after she'd earned it. That means that by default, a regular [Mage] would have had to spend 10 skill points, a massive 10 levels worth of skillups, to purchase only the first rank. Sometimes its worth it to take strangely eccentric skills, like [Mimicry]. You never know!

The Child of Ebon
Wealth and power, what would you do to gain such possessions as that? Would you murder? Would you steal? Would you scheme? Would you utterly use people in order to get those things? What if you needed wealth and power to save those you hold dear? Your loved ones who can't survive unless you take that single step into oblivion. To be a criminal, a murderer, or a plotter who would do anything to achieve one's own goals. What lies before you is that kind of story; a young man who seeks to climb the fierce ladder to nobility. To ease his loved one's pains, to do what must be done, even if he has to become the most loathed man in his own aching heart. — WARNING: A VERY slow paced story. —
8 105Minglings
Without any previous indication, all the televisions, smartphones, and radios start broadcasting a message recorded by the government leaders of the world. In it, they explain a horrible tragedy that is about to befall us. Our earth will blend with what is considered to be the primary dimension after having been apart for an unknown amount of time. The merger will not only affect the world, but also the beings on it, and humanity must mingle with other species or die out. Everybody will need to determine the other-dimensional race to pick. The world leaders have known of this for many years and have tried preparing people by creating popular fiction, games, and movies. These are nothing more than tutorials of what is about to happen.

8 205Killing Roar: Part 2: Mortal Mewling
Part 2 - Mortal Mewling: Perry's been living his dream in the guard, fighting spike feeders, proving himself to be a valuable member of the community, but his many concerns linger, weighing him down with more questions and regrets. The strange event within the dungeon. The rise of the prey-movement. The critical mass of spike feeders looming around the corner. Things have been going wrong for Titan City, and it feels like they're only going to get worse. Can he help save what he's worked for or will it all fall to ruin? Part 1 - Killing Roar: When Perry was blessed with a platypus beast soul, he thought his chances of joining the village guard were over. No one had every heard of a platypus. It seemed like an obvious prey soul, given it wasn't in the village's records. Only the strongest could be part of the village guard. He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
