Well, I'd hoped I would never have to write one of those again.

For those who weren't there last time, a chapter titled 'notice' is an important announcement, usually pertaining to why I won't be posting a chapter this week. As with the previous one, this announcement will be deleted next week.

Alright, so, where do I begin...some of you might have noticed it in the last chapter's top author's notes, or in the comments, but I have had absolutely atrocious holidays. There are too many factors to name, but in short that and my insomnia meant that my time where I was able to write was massively reduced, and my ability and willingness to do so dropped to effectively 0. The problem with this story ? The problem is that to meet deadlines, and get the christmas chapter out, I pushed myself past that to write anyway.

It was a horrible mistake.

After stepping back and analyzing things for a bit, I realized that I had been less and less writing for this story for fun, and more and more to meet deadlines as IRL event after IRL even continued collapsing ontop of me, with my appartment flooding, the spree of breaking and entering in my building, ect.

This Christmas essentially drove me to my breaking point.

In short, I've basically gotten burnt out over this story. Even now, when I've started taking sleep medication to tackle my insomnia and gotten much more free time I haven't been able to write a single word for this story.

So, to avoid a complete and total burnout, which might outright kill my willingness to ever write for this story again, I am stepping away from this story for a week, possibly two. I won't be posting a chapter this week, and quite possible the week afterwards, to give myself breathing space and time to regenerate a bit. Instead of chapters I will be posting lore files I've had on the backburned for a bit, like The Great Archives (Nations) file tomorrow. So there will still be content, but no chapters proper.

In retrospect I should have done this months ago, or at least done a small hiatus for the holidays, but I'd never experienced that kind of burnout before, and had simply too much stuff to deal with to take a step back and analyze what was happening.

Sorry if this was a bit rambling, I'm writing this late at night, and I'm still a bit knocked out from the lack of sleep.
