《Big Red Button.》Push number 533-ish.

You push the button.
Ding.
You have arrived in a room of doors.
Neat!
You go over to one, the one marked SP17, and try to open it. Sadly, it does not have a handle, so opening it would be rather difficult. You notice that it also lacks hinges. This door seems to be glued to the wall somehow. It is not meant to open.
You move on to the next door, and then the next, looking for handles. You get to the “dobal” doors, and try to open those. One of them has a padlock on it, which is weird. After trying to pull if off and failing, you try to ram your shoulder into the door. It feels extremely solid, refusing to move. You suspect that behind this door is the wall.
The next double door isn’t locked. You open it, and find, yep, the wall. Not even a painted wall, just the wall. The one after that opens outwards, meaning it’s blocked by the wall. It doesn’t open. And the last double door opens to reveal a concrete wall. Amazing.
The next couple of doors don’t have handles, and don’t budge when you push them. Eventually you get to the door marked SP14, and turn the handle. It turns. Expecting it to not open, you push.
To your surprise, it opens out onto a street.
Looks like this is the exit! You can leave now!
I hope you enjoyed your time here, I’m glad you didn’t die, etc, etc.
Bye!
You go back into the center of the room and push the button.
Nothing happens. I’ve disconnected it. This is the last room for you.
It’s testing. Tests.
Like, you know how you go online and can take a test to see what your spirit animal is, or what Disney princess you are? Think of this as a more… involved one of those.

Why not?
Secret tech. I signed an NDA, too. Also I don’t know most of the details, because I’m just paid to do the transcripts.
Nope! None at all. You should remember some of it when you get home and find your NDA.
But to do that, you have to leave. (Hint, hint.)
Hell if I know. That’s something the IT department handles. It’ll be a street in the city you live in, so don’t worry about that.
Unless you live in a super dangerous city, in which case you might want to worry a little bit.
At your house. You were given the jumpsuit there, and brought to this exact same door. Well, the same door on the outside. You’ll remember in a day or so. You were told to not bring any phone or wallet.
Not me personally, but IT can, since they know where you are.
No problem! Out you go!
Bye!
You step out the door, leaving the room and button behind.
I lose sight of you, wishing you well...

Uhhh… It’ll take me a couple minutes to find out where we left them, but I can do that, sure. No worries.

Do you have what we asked?
Excellent. You have done well.
You have been transported back to your home city. It may be near or far from the Facility.

First you must let us know where you are. We can see you, but nothing else. Blink once for A, twice for B, thrice for C, etc. When you reach your desired letter, touch your nose. When you have spelled out the name of the city, touch your nose twice.
…
Thank you. Researching your city now.
…
There is a street called Main. On a corner of that street a person will be waiting. A person wearing an orange mask, brass knuckles, and a Superman hoodie. Find this person, and give them the item. In return, this person will give you a “debit card” with five million euros on it. The PIN code will be 6060.
We will analyze it to find its place of origin. As the flower grew in the Room, rather than having been placed there, it will help us determine the location of the Facility.
Our objective is to find the Rooms. Our objective is to find the Observers.
What we do when we find them will be none of your concern. Your concern will be finding appropriate means of spending five million euros.
That is of no value to us, as it was placed in the Room, and not grown there.
Also, anything of value on it has probably been washed off during its stay in your mouth.
Feel free to keep it.
Go. Find the person.
Do not dawdle.
That is a… shame.
Know this: we can see you. We do not know where you are, but we will watch you until we figure it out.
We will find you.
When we do, we will have to analyze you. We would have analyzed a crystal or flower, but no matter. Your time in the Facility may have left enough clues as to its location.
The analyzation process will not be enjoyable for you. For that we apologize.
We may not find you soon, but worry not.
.
.
.
We WILL find you.
Thank you for offering us a secondary item to analyze.
It will be very useful.
We would not. Seeing as it was not grown in the Room, merely placed there the same as you, it does not hold as much value as a crystal or flower would have. We will have to analyze both you and the tooth.
Be on your way. We have no more business with you for the time being.

Story of a Killer
Damon Jaeger had always known he was different. Yeah, he was more talented than others his age and even older. Yeah, he could learn things and remember them after a few glances. But he knew he was even more different. He was a Killer. He wanted to hurt people. Or at least he wanted to. Damon finally let loose and hurt a group of people who he felt deserved it. And because of that, an Organization found out about his knack for violence and killing, and they wanted to recruit him. Join Damon as he gets trained to become a Killer and tries to stay himself along the arduous journey. (Author Note: Grammar may or may not be quite shit, so please go easy on me. Also, the story may come across as edgy, so sorry about that. Oh and I don't own the cover photo either, I picked it up off of Google~)

(A Blades in the Dark RPG adventure)
8 157The Thaumatist Incident
The towers fell over a century ago, and the Good King united the land. Under his voice the Thaumatists took the knee or took the sword. The University still stands, but for how long? This story is broken up into two parts. Chronologically, the two parts overlap. Part One Emile, a girl with a Talent not seen since the good king's war as she tries to find help to save her beloved father from a cruel accident. Julie, raised in a small farming village on her quest to become someone people will sing about. Part Two Wendel, a recent graduate of the University, an intense school that functions first as a police force to control the use of magic and secondly as an educational institution. Demetrius, a servant at the school who loses his home and his safety. Edits are ongoing. Reviews and comments will only help the editing the process, and I am grateful for any and all input. So, if you have been reading already, Jericho has been removed. It's been brought to my attention that his chapters detract from the flow of the narrative. They still exist, and are still going to be made available at some point in some way shape or form, but for the time being what happens with him and the king in Puissant city will be off camera so to speak.
8 84The Mountains of Mourning
After his rebellion failed, Patrick and his team escaped to another world, thinking to be safe there, and live out what remained of their broken lives in whatever peace they might find. But the world he found wasn't the one he expected, and that remainder of his life threatened to become very short, unless he found a way to survive in this monster-ridden hostile environment. To make matters worse, more refugees started to come in, falling through portals, disturbing the balance. With them they brought tales of war and chaos, the horrors of those who were left behind, and the ravenous hunger for blood of the Tyrant they thought they left behind. Unable to leave the new settlers to their fate, Patrick and his team take on the roles that are pushed onto them, some with enthusiasm, some with reluctance, all striving to build a better world than the one they left behind. They should have realized that portals that open once, can be opened again, and that what they thought they left behind, might one day catch up.
