A landscape that only nature can make

A waterfall, a clear blue lake

Lush trees of green soft leaves

The greatest treasure a planet weaves

Under the trees, full of untamed creatures

Not a single spot is left without lively features

But not everything is as it seems

As the air is disturbed with human screams

A dragon has marked in its sight, a prey

A princess with no flaws to say

Before the girl knew,

Straight at her, the dragon suddenly flew

A knight who witnessed the sight

Ran back to the castle, preparing for a fight

Together with those who have the same duty

Only to see a forever sleeping beauty

The king, enraged with this information

Struggled to accept his damnation

He ordered the knights to kill the beast|

The one who dares treat his daughter as a feast

Not long later, not far away

Beyond the trees, a cave gives way

Two dragons, feasting on their prey

Behind them, three eggs peacefully lay

One perked up, sensing great danger

As the cave entrance suddenly shows a stranger

The human, with a shield and a sword

Started shouting to the others a few words

As more of them came, an army formed

The dragons they saw, they recklessly stormed

Each of the dragons only as tall as a 6-foot lance

Against an army, they stand no chance

It was a short battle and a decisive one indeed

The eggs are slaughtered in the knights' creed

But only two had their lives bereft

The last one accidentally kicked into hiding was left

It looked indeed quite intact

But that is not the truest fact

A crack formed on the almost-circle
