His soul isn’t from this world!

The idea was the most logical one he got, Cthar was not of the magus world but he was of the demon world. Thus making him a stranger, and maybe he used his last bit of power to seal his memories so if someone who is not a magus world born wears the mask they will see the cruelty of the magus.

Adrius’s soul isn’t from the magus world but from another planet in complete another galaxy so Cthar’s memories considered him not a person from the magus world. And maybe he was showing him these memories to make him fear the magus or resent them.

‘It was a good last second plan of Cthar, but it didn’t work’

Adrius was sure that if someone from his world saw this then they would hate the magus for being “Evil”, and would consider themselves as the righteous side. But unfortunately for Cthar it got into Adrius’s hand, and he actually admired Lafaz’s power. Making Cthar’s effort go in vain.

Adrius then sat down on the bed, he was not injured by the fall he took when he wore the mask. His body has become stronger than normal humans so simple fall can’t hurt him anymore. He then started to analyse the things he got from the memories of Cthar:’ So it seems war was coming for the magus world, but according to the records in the last 2000 years there has not been a big war that can threaten the existence of the magus world. The last war that had such a threat was the great war. Maybe it hasn’t happened until now?’ Adrius didn’t think about the upcoming war so much, because even if war came he can’t do anything he was still weak. Also in such wars between worlds rank 1 are just cannon fodder, and only the rank 2 and above are the real force.

But there has not been such a war since the demon extinction war. Which involved all the magus world against the whole demon world. The war took over 200 years but the magus won at last because they had much stronger power and numbers.

In normal times the magus world’s five regions don't interfere with another, and every region is open to every magus to enter. Like if a rank 4 magus discovered a new planet, if the planet is too strong then them, they will give the coordinates to a stronger magus who has the power to take it. Or if the world doesn’t have a lot of power then they will gather their academy, family, alliance to attack it. And if they succeed then the planet will be theirs to control, but it will still be a part of the magus world.

There are academies, families and alliances that have tens of worlds as their property.

Adrius then stopped thinking about the conversation between Cthar and Lafaz, and he started to prepare himself. It was time for him to break through to rank 2 magus apprentice. But first he had to sleep.

Time passed and after hours Adrius was ready, he sat down on his bed and started to meditate while absorbing magic into the area on top of his belly button. It absorbed magic like a black hole, and after 5 hours of continuous absorbing Adrius felt his magic power get stronger, that means he has reached 20 points.

‘ Now it's the important part’ Thought Adrius to himself

He started to follow the instructions he got from Croft and started to gather the magic and press it into the shape of a little dot. Adrius has become very good at manipulating magic, but he still found it hard to control the magic that was pressed into the dot. By pressing the magic on itself and then creating the dantian, he is making himself stronger. Because all that unused magic will get turned into magic power and thus making his magic points higher.

Good thing the magus world was filled with magic, because if this operation happened on a planet that doesn’t have enough magic then it will probably fail and the blackish will kill the person doing it.

After hours Adrius was still sitting on his bed with sweat dripping from his face, he was at the last step. Creating the dantian!

The dot was in front of him, it was stable now, and didn't need to be controlled. It was the size of a grape, with dark light shining around it. It was floating in above his hand. Adrius cultivated the darkness element as the main element. And that made him draw darkness element magic particles more than other elements.

He then got the last step which is to make it his. He took out a knife and cut open his finger. He then got the blood that was coming out in a tube and started to pour it over the incomplete dantian while speaking in Xyron.

“ By this blood you are connected to me, and by these words you shall obey me and only me!” Said Adrius in Xyron, his voice was rough and sounded like a demon from hell.

The dantian started to glow with dark light after Adrius was done, Adrius then took it and put it over the belly button. It sank in the flesh and disappeared into Adrius’s body.

Adrius then looked with his conscience into the dantian. The dantian has become a phantom, you can see it but it isn’t there at the same time, also it doesn’t take a place in the body.

Adrius then entered the dantian, it looked very big. It looked empty but it had magic in it, because magic has no physical appearance.

Adrius was satisfied, he then got out and checked himself. His body has become stronger again, he estimated that he can break bones with his bare hands now. Of course he had a very strong body when he came to the academy but the cultivation took it away from him.

He has really now started to show he is not a human anymore. Because if you think about it, at rank 1 magus apprentice he was no different than a normal human except he can use magic. But now he is stronger than humans and can make a lot of things they can’t do.

‘ Now I only have two ranks to pass and then I can become an official magus’ Hyped Adrius himself, he knew it won’t be easy but he wanted to believe it is for his own sake.
