After absorbing the energy in the area, everything became normal with Ray still laying on the bed unconscious but his aura has taken a different turn as it is now dense.

"He just made a breakthrough while still unconscious, how in the world is he doing that" said Ellis in amazement.

"It is really strange how he is doing that" added Jenny.

Right after their comment, the spiritual energy begins to gather around Ray once more as they started to go into him. Seeing this really shock the living hell out of the two of them since they thought that will be the end of it all.

"Now he is trying to make another breakthrough into the 9th stage" said Jenny.

"Let's just hope he is not trying to make a breakthrough into the golden core realm, else it is going to be a disaster for us" replies Ellis.

After his body has completely absorbed the energy, more energy begins to rush into the room and went through into his body forcefully while Jenny and Ellis were being pushed back from the outburst. Jenny and Ellis thought that there is going to be a heavenly tribulation but to their surprise, there was none and Ray was still laying on the ground but this time around, there was a golden light radiating from his body.

"That is impossible, no one has ever done something like this in the whole of the lower heaven" said Jenny

"What are you talking about Jenny" asked Ellis when he saw her muttering in shock.

"Take a look at your friend, he was able to break through into the golden core realm without facing heaven punishment which has never been heard of before" replies Jenny as she continues to watch Ray.

"What you mean he actually broke through into the golden core realm" asked Ellis who seem more surprised.

"Actually he is not yet a fully pledge golden core practitioner not until he has successfully form his core and he is not far from that process" replied Jenny.

Just after the word left Jenny's mouth, the light that was radiating from Ray suddenly faces away as they could now feel his aura.

"You were saying" asked Ellis with an awkward smile on his lip as he turned to Jenny.

"I think can't explain how he does it and only those who have seen it happen before could explain this phenomenal" reply Jenny.

After Ray has finally formed his core, he suddenly woke up, and the usual notification from the system usually woke him when he first fused with the body. Not thinking about Ellis and Jenny that were in the room since he could explain himself later. Calling on the system interface, the display he saw really frightens him.

'Looks like my free stats is gone together with the upgrade but why can't I sense the system" thought Ray in fear since the reason why he has come this fear was due to the system intervention and now it feels like it is gone forever.

"So this is the reward I received from completing the quest and it seems like I can still level up my realm with the normal way but how am I supposed to use my technique now that the system won't be assisting me" mutter Ray to himself as he feels his energy.

"What happen to you man, you just fell unconscious on our way back" said Ellis.

Turning around to look at Ellis who had a smile on his face.

"Did I fall unconscious" asked Ray confused.

"What, how can you not know that you went unconscious" said Ellis.

"I don't have any memory about that" reply Ray with a chuckle as he scratched the back of his head.

"Well it is possible that he won't remember what happened, so stop bothering him" said Jenny.

"Right, so have you informed the guard about the guild about our finding" asked Ray as he tries to change the topic.

"No, we were waiting for you to wake up before telling them" replied Ellis.

"Why did you have to do that" asked Ray.

"Because we will be told to abandon the mission if they were to find out that you were unconscious" replies Jenny.

"You should have let them know about the situation here. What if the demon world has already crossed over to our world before they get here" asked Ray in anger.

"Which is why we have to act fast. Ellis do you mind taking out the scroll that was given to you by your vice leader" said Jenny.

"Not a problem" reply Ellis as he took out the mini scroll from his storage ring and place it on the table while spreading it open.

Pulling out a feather and ink from his storage ring, Ellis begins to write down all that has happened since their time in the Azure empire including the wedding that will be taking place before putting the feather down. The moment he drops the feather, the writing begins to fade away.

"Huh, what just happened" asked Ray as it is the first time seeing this occurrence.

"The message has been transferred to the guild, now what is left for us to do is wait for a feedback" replies Jenny.

"So all we have to do is wait until the guild sends a reply and I hope it won't take long" asked Ray.

"It all depends on who received the message" reply Jenny.

They begin to wait for the guild to send a reply and after waiting for about 20 minutes, words begin to appear on the scroll one by one until it stops.

"So you guys were about to find out much within this period of time". These were the words that were written on the scroll.

"Looks like your vice leader was the one that wrote this, knowing how he would out" said Jenny with a frown.

"How come he is the one that saw the message" asked Ray.

"It is only natural that he would since he was the one that gave you the scroll in the first place" replied Jenny.

Ellis was about to pick up the feather and write some words when another message came in.

"Were you able to find any connection between Precidia and the demon's appearance".

"No, we have not caught any trace of her using the key, although Ray slayed a demon in the kingdom a week back but it seems to have come from the demon world" replied Ellis.

"Okay, I want you to continue with your investigations and report back to me if you notice any abnormality" said the vice leader before as the words begin to fade away.

"Why didn't he say anything about the demon world been transferred into our world," asked Ray.

"Maybe they are already discussing about their next move" replied Ellis.

"I doubt that knowing your vice leader he should be outside the guild doing quest or training which means the higher-ups are yet to know about the matter" said Jenny with a smile on her face.

"You mean he rarely stays in the guild" asked Ellis.

Jenny just nodded in reply to Ellis's question which Ellis sighed to before saying.

"Now that he is not in the guild, how are we supposed to know what the next move should be".

"Let's just do as he instructed us to and leave the rest to the guild since we have already provided them with enough information" reply Ray as he went to sit on the bed.

"I think Ray is right, so let's just try and get something from Precidia and at the same time patrol the area for any sign of demon that has come into our world" added Jenny.

"You think there will be more demons coming in" asked Ellis.

"I am very positive that we will be expecting more demons" replied Jenny.

Ellis noticed that Ray has not said anything even right when they are talking about patrolling the area for any sign of a demon which he should be happy about since he will have to fight but instead, he just sat on the bed while looking at the wall.

"Hey, are you alright" asked Ellis as he punched Ray lightly on the shoulder.

"I am okay, I just need a rest that's all" reply Ray with a smile on his face.

"I can tell you are not feeling well, why don't you tell me what the problem is maybe I can help" asked Ellis.

"As I said, I am doing great okay" reply Ray feeling a little annoyed at Ellis.

"Alright if you say so, anyways congratulation on your breakthrough into the golden core realm" said Ellis as he left the bed to do his own thing.
