Chapter 40: The first audition.

Chen Huan walked around to a corner and pushed through a door that leads into the room 801.

He saw a group of people busying themselves and they were all acquaintance he saw during that day where they all drank together in the small noodle shop.

Shi Liyou lifted his head and saw Chen Huan before he said while shrugging his shoulder, “Hey, our master supervisor is here!”

“Hello Brother Li, Hello Brother Ding, Hello Everybody!” Chen Huan greeted them with a smile.

“Don’t listen to his grumbling.” Ding Lun said as he came over and patted his shoulder, “Take a look, what do you think of this arrangement?”

Room 801 was a small conference hall that was around 100 meters square meters and now the hall was mostly empty.

It would be inappropriate to say that it was completely empty.

Because they had already prepared two scene.

The first was a simulated snow area of around ten square meters covered in white foam that looked like snow at first glance.

There was a camera hung vertically above the fake snow that captured the snowfield on a large screen nearby.

Chen Huan recalled those classic scenes from his memory and smiled as he exclaimed, “It’s well done.”

“That’s good, I was worried we wouldn’t able to bring the script’s emotion.” Ding Lun breath out a sigh of relief, “Sister Mei said that you have the highest understanding of the script if we exclude Teacher Chu and it was even above hers. I feel that these two arrangements are well thought by you and can test the actors’ fit.”

At this time, Ding Lun and Shi Liyou had already read ‘Love Letter’ and they were relatively familiar with plots and scenes in it.

Zhu Mei definitely didn’t tell them that Chen Huan was Teacher Chu Liuxiang but she changed it a little bit by saying that Chu Liuxiang even praised this child understanding of the script so asked him to help for audition was a good help.

“Nihui, our audition is very simple. Do you see the fake snow over there?” Zhu Mei said with a smile, “Your act is to lie on the snow and hold your breath for half a minute before standing up and move your body around.”

“Okay.”

Cao Nihui digested her word for a moment before walking toward the fake snow.

Everyone who came here knew the general plot of the movie but they only read a part of their own role and didn’t receive the full script yet. This step was the opening scene of ‘Love Letter’ and also the cover of the movie but Cao Nihui didn’t know about it.

In fact when Miho Nakayama performed this scene, she just wanted to feel the feeling of losing her breath and also the feeling of losing one’s fiancée at that moment.

Confusion and calmness appeared at the same time in her eyes, showing contradicting feeling.

But Zhu Mei didn’t tell Cao Nihui about those inner feeling and let her perform with her own understanding.

Chen Huan kept staring at the screen without turning his eyes away until Cao Nihui’s performance ended.

“How is it?” Zhu Mei softly asked.

“She looks very pretty and her age fit alright but unfortunately, she still have that girlish atmosphere on her.” Chen Huan bluntly stated.

“Let’s look at the next one.” Zhu Mei nodded her head.

Then she smiled and waved her hand at Cao Nihui before saying, “Thank you Nihui and for you to come here. I’ll contact you later.”

Cao Nihui smiled slightly and showed her beauty as she said, “Okay, thank you for your hard work too!”

After saying that, she took another deep look at Chen Huan before turning around and left.

Chen Huan looked at her perfect swaying back and thought was very charming and beautiful even though he had admired countless beauties before.

“You saw it.” He didn’t when but Shi Liyou stood next to Chen Huan and whispered, “This is top beauty! Don’t look down at her for not being a movie Empresses. She is even more beautiful than some of them!”

“I also think so.” Chen Huan replied with a smile.

Amongst the four movie empresses, Ye Xiaoyu and Han Zhu could only be said to be pretty and even Ning Yiqiu’s appearance was a little worse than Cao Nihui. Only Dong Shu had the unparalleled acting skills and beauty. She deserved well her no.1 spot of the movie empress.

However, the small five beauties of the movie industry appearance weren’t worse than Cao Nihui. They all had they own good looks and were all very pretty.

For example, let’s take Bu Yiyi who was just outside. Her face was absolutely pretty!

Ordinary people who stared at her wouldn’t blink their eyes.
