《Tower of Arnold: A Somnus Story》Epilogue

Twenty-five years later.
Arnold sat back in his immaculate office chair, with his feet on the desk and his dick out because he no longer cared about wearing pants. In fact, he hadn’t worn any clothes inside his office in years, just because there was nobody in the world who had the ability to stop him.
After Arnold became the CEO of GroCorp, he essentially held all power in the entire Midwest. He rewrote the laws regarding public nudity and made broad exceptions that allowed him to do whatever the hell he wanted and get away with it.
He smoked a cigar and puffed it all around the room. Tobacco used to be illegal to smoke in the office, but he changed that the same day he rescinded the regulation on how many Tower of Somnus subscriptions could be given out. It was supposed to be an exclusive club for the best of the best, but he decided it was much better to simply give access to every single person on the planet.
Arnold’s personal chef, Michelle Donnst, came into the office (also naked, as all his direct employees were) and delivered him his lunch--roasted meat from the belly of a Chinese giant salamander. There were only a few left, but they were very tasty.
He turned his desk around to the window, where he looked outside the arcology and viewed the massive city around him. There were dozens of massive arcologies all around, but none of them as big as the one Arnold took residence in. The one he built after ten years of grueling labor by all the street samurais who were rounded up and enslaved for construction work.
Officially, they named this massive structure the Peter Meijer Memorial Trade Center, but there was only one real name the place went by for those who lived in it, for those whose lives were improved by it: the Tower of Arnold.

Eventually, one of his (naked) secretaries came into his office to give him his daily meditation, and he thought about just how much his life changed after he realized he was a bad person. All it took was that realization, and everything improved from there. He annulled his consort contract with Anna (but kept the surname), then took Anna as his official wife. Kat, too. And Michelle, and even Kat’s mom. He and Dorrik were married inside the MMO, even if that legally didn’t count, and all of his life problems were completely gone. All thanks to the mercy Jasper Haupt gave him.
It was sad that he had to kill Jasper Haupt in his path to becoming CEO, but he hoped Jasper didn’t hold a grudge from beyond the grave--it was only business, after all.
He finished his meditation and decided to take a nap on his dark leather sofa.
What a nice guy Arnold was. What a hero. He gave that trademark smile to himself and drifted off to sleep.

Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves.
