Sam stood up and made a motion to grab Chips arm as he immediately jerked back. "Hey," she said, "I think he's doing his rounds because he just disappeared." "Well I guess, are you going to help me find out his name?" Chip said, stepping out from the corner to see he was gone. "Okay Merchant apprentice-" Chip said. "Sam!" "Okay, Sam, uhhh maybe we could go to your shop first? Do you have a good vantage point from there?" Chip looked around for a shop that matched the aestetic of her apron. Sam pointed to the nearby stand which she'd climbed down from. On the opposing wall, inlaid shelving of various spices went right up to chips eye level from the ground, and sauces dotted the lower shelves. "She used to be a tree, until one of my dads carved her out, it's been something that the coalition let us use frqeuently," Sam said. "Going around the other side of the tree, it looks like you've got all kinds of sauces," Chip said, eyeing the display of the sweet isekai sauce. "Now I could 'give' you a free sample," she said, "But I would also need a favor from you." Chip blinked. Was she trying to get one over on him? "Is this some sort of 'deal'?" He asked, pulling his whiskers back as he raised exactly one eyebrow. "It's a great offer," Sam replied. "Am I top understand the extent of my part of the deal?" "Well, Chip, I want the first crack at the guard," she said. Without even thinking it, Chip put a paw out. "Done. I don't even care about him right now. I have a contest to win. Now let me taste your sauces." Sam embraced his paw. "Well, it doesn't take much for yuo to give up your dream," she said, smirking. "That boy is day dream, but I've got goals, Sam, trying and keep up." Sam grabbed a spoon. "Now, this first one, is going to make you feel like you've woken up in a new world." "I know we're joking about that hot guard, but this isn't going to knock me out or something?" She dipped the spoon into the sauce jar. "Close your eyes and open your mouth, fish daddy."

Theo clamped his hands down on my shoulders and spun me around, his dark hair falling over his green eyes as he panted. I could feel a smirk break out on my face as he huffed."Whatever. Just next time tell me you're going to start running so I can win. You made me look silly." He rolled his eyes like a child and I snorted, peppering his reddened cheeks with kisses to which he softened up by."I'm sorry." I said in a teasing tone and before I knew it, he was lifting up my chin with his finger and planting a firm but tender kiss down onto my lips. "I love you."
