The ghost shark vanishes, thankfully.
Now you’re laying on the floor of a room piled high with mini marshmallows.

~
They’re stacked in each corner, looking a lot like someone filled a dump truck with mini marshmallows, then had it unload into a corner of the room.
There are thousands of them in the room. Millions. In fact, if they were to be counted out, you would find that there are seven hundred ninety six decilion three hundred ninety two nonillion five hundred ninety six octillion one hundred ninety three setilion eight hundred ninety two sexilion seven hundred ninety six quintilon five hundred ninety four quadrillion three hundred ninety two trillion one hundred ninety one billion two hundred ninety three million four hundred ninety five thousand six hundred ninety seven point eigh hundred ninety nine decilion one hundred ninety three nonillion five hundred ninety seven octillion nine hundred ninety eight setilion six hundred ninety four sexilion two hundred ninety nine quintilon nine hundred ninety nine quadrillion nine hundred ninety nine trillion nine hundred ninety nine billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred ninety nine thousand and nine hundred ninety one of them.
More or less. Give or take. But that should give you an approximation of the amount of mini marshmallows there are in the room.
~
Want me to say that number again? Because I totally can! It would absolutely help my word count out, and I’m slightly falling behind in that regard…
Here, you know what? I’ll repeat it, but I’ll minimize it in case you don’t want to sit through me reading it out again.
Seven hundred ninety six decilion three hundred ninety two nonillion five hundred ninety six octillion one hundred ninety three setilion eight hundred ninety two sexilion seven hundred ninety six quintilon five hundred ninety four quadrillion three hundred ninety two trillion one hundred ninety one billion two hundred ninety three million four hundred ninety five thousand six hundred ninety seven point eigh hundred ninety nine decilion one hundred ninety three nonillion five hundred ninety seven octillion nine hundred ninety eight setilion six hundred ninety four sexilion two hundred ninety nine quintilon nine hundred ninety nine quadrillion nine hundred ninety nine trillion nine hundred ninety nine billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred ninety nine thousand and nine hundred ninety one.
Now, you might think that’s cheating, but there’s no rule specifically against it, and it’s only a hundred twenty four measly words, so why don’t I do it again? It’s not like it’ll be noticed, stuck here in the middle of what will hopefully eventually be fifty five thousand five hundred and fifty five words.
So here I go again! Wheee!
Seven hundred ninety six decilion three hundred ninety two nonillion five hundred ninety six octillion one hundred ninety three setilion eight hundred ninety two sexilion seven hundred ninety six quintilon five hundred ninety four quadrillion three hundred ninety two trillion one hundred ninety one billion two hundred ninety three million four hundred ninety five thousand six hundred ninety seven point eigh hundred ninety nine decilion one hundred ninety three nonillion five hundred ninety seven octillion nine hundred ninety eight setilion six hundred ninety four sexilion two hundred ninety nine quintilon nine hundred ninety nine quadrillion nine hundred ninety nine trillion nine hundred ninety nine billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred ninety nine thousand and nine hundred ninety one.
Anyways, getting on with plot, you get to your feet, dusting yourself off. Not that there’s any dust on you, but it’s a habit.
Marshmallows don’t usually have a very strong smell, but this quantity of them, all

of them, is enough to overpower even the ever-present smell of “Hawaiian Breeze”. They smell pretty good.
You can’t help yourself. You walk up to a pile, grab a few, and pop them into your mouth.
They’re good. Fresh, too. Well, at least not stale.
You eat a few more.
You feel like these would be better in hot chocolate, or roasted over a bonfire.
That done, you kick a few. They bounce satisfyingly. You smile, a plan forming in your mind.
For the next half-hour you work at spreading the mini marshmallows evenly throughout the room. All

of them.
It’s fun! The marshmallows are all soft and squishy, kind of like fresh snow if it weren’t cold.
You can drag your feet through the marshmallows like a snow drift, and are briefly reminded of your childhood.
Unless you grew up somewhere it doesn’t snow, in which case you aren’t reminded of your childhood and probably don’t get the analogy.
Once you’re done, the marshmallows are layered deep enough to reach your knees.
It’s kind of beautiful, in a way.
If you could have one picture to keep as a reminder of your time here, a picture of this would probably be it.
It just makes you happy, somehow. It relaxes you.
You sit down, smiling to yourself. You start to doze off, perfectly content.
You realize the potential of these piles and walk over to one. You turn around and let yourself fall backwards into it.
It feels like collapsing into a giant, extremely fluffy pillow.
The mini marshmallows fall into the hole you created, bouncing slightly when they hit you.
It feels like being walked on by a bunch of smol puppies.
You’re cushioned very well, stopping about a foot off the ground. That was incredibly fun.
~
Unfortunately, the weight of the mini marshmallows is making it slightly hard to breathe.
You struggle to your feet, shedding marshmallows that bounce and scatter across the floor.
There are three more piles.
You head to the next pile and belly-flop into it, giggling. You might say you’re just laughing, but come on dude, it’s a giggle.
The mini marshmallows cover you all the way down to your calves. If possible, that was even more fun than the first time.

You extract yourself with some difficulty, shake yourself off, and run towards the pile opposite you.
You cannonball into the marshmallows, sending them flying everywhere. Who knew that mini marshmallows could be so fun?
For the last pile you just kinda shove yourself in, burrowing down until only your face is exposed.
You are now one with the marshmallows.
All

of them.
It’s warm in here. It’s comfy. It smells good.
Before you know it, you’re falling asleep.
You walk over to a pile, pick one off, and carefully eat it.
It is a normal mini marshmallow, the type found packaged in any supermarket. It’s hard to say how fresh it is, but it’s certainly not stale.
That decided, you grab a handful and stuff them into your mouth. After all, there are
seven hundred ninety six decilion three hundred ninety two nonillion five hundred ninety six octillion one hundred ninety three setilion eight hundred ninety two sexilion seven hundred ninety six quintilon five hundred ninety four quadrillion three hundred ninety two trillion one hundred ninety one billion two hundred ninety three million four hundred ninety five thousand six hundred ninety seven point eigh hundred ninety nine decilion one hundred ninety three nonillion five hundred ninety seven octillion nine hundred ninety eight setilion six hundred ninety four sexilion two hundred ninety nine quintilon nine hundred ninety nine quadrillion nine hundred ninety nine trillion nine hundred ninety nine billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred ninety nine thousand and nine hundred ninety one
of them, how many would you have to eat before anyone noticed a difference?
They’re delicious. You’re a fan of marshmallows in any form, and these are just… so good…
You shovel handful after handful into your mouth, chewing noisily. It sounds kinda gross, but you’re enjoying yourself.
Eventually you tire yourself out.
The sugar is too much. You collapse head-first into the pile of mini marshmallows and pass out, starting to snore as they cover your entire body.
You huff, turning up your nose at them.
You are on a diet, thank you, and refuse to eat anything so unhealthy.
Either that or you just don’t care for sweet things.
Still… The smell is simply divine.
You go up to a pile, pick one up, and sniiiiiiif.
Yep. It smells amazing. Surely just one wouldn’t hurt…
You pop it into your mouth and chew.
It- it’s delicious.
You swallow.
Maybe- maybe just one more.
You pick one more up and place it carefully on your tongue.
It almost melts in your mouth. It’s perfection.
Somehow half an hour passes by, with you just standing there, putting one mini marshmallow into your mouth at a time.
They’re mini, so they’re not as bad for your health.
A memory surfaces in your mind, a happy memory, involving a very cold day and a cup of hot chocolate. A fun day, a nice day.
You can’t help but notice that the pile of mini marshmallows in front of you now slightly resembles a chair.
Very primly, you turn around and sit down in the pile.

Your eyelids droop.
You’re so calm here. So comfortable.
You fall asleep.

You yawn and stretch, feeling more rested than you have in years.
Who knew that [spoiler] mini marshmallows were such a great thing to take a nap in!
But, it’s time to move on. You climb out of your nap spot and find the button, having to move a few marshmallows out of the way first. You take a last deep breath, knowing that the smell is about to go away.
Oh, quick, let me say that number again!

Dispatches from the Inter-galactic
Dispatches From The Inter-Galactic is a series of loosely related satirical stories which take place in a galaxy full of various interstellar civilizations and numerous space faring species generally described as consentients. This series is set in a galaxy which take place in a similar but not entirely unlike the galaxy in which my series Up in Space takes place While there are numerous themes related to interstellar life, several of the stories directly relate to specific themes such as; The pan-galactic ramifications to the use of supersymetrical energy sources (often drained from intera-located alternate and pocket realities.) the use of which by most interstellar civilizations is steadily increasing the overall amount of Dark Matter. This is increasing the mass of the galaxy and results in the occasional rips in inter-dimensional space as well as an overall increase in supernova activity. It is also speeding up the approach of the galaxy in Andromeda, which is of concern to several long lived civilizations; The Morphoids, a race of shape-changing consentients who are capable of using the space lanes created by the use of supersymetrical sourced energy to spread throughout the galaxy. They are currently viewed as threat number one by many space-faring species; and Xeno and exo-sexuality, as many species try to figure out what sort of enjoyment they can have with many of the species they encounter in space (only some of which are carbon-based, or more rarely, humanoid in appearance). This also relates to the altering of species to make reproduction somewhat easier for those with rather complicated lifestyles. A major force in this area of pursuit is the galactic visiteering industry, which promotes the ‘uplifting’ of more primitive planet-bound near-consentients.

Teaching Heroes of Might and Magic
Xianxia, the dream of many. To be reborn in such a world so that you may make yourself a god amongst gods, so that you may rule your own fate and destiny.Well, welcome to reality, because even if you end up in such a realm, who says you get power? Who says you are the one who gets to rule as a god amongst gods? Those stories you read at home on your phone or laptop? Sadly, it just isn't so. Just like Zev, the protagonist of this novel discovered when he was dropped into a world full of Immortals, Monsters, Gods and other monstrous beings. No other worldly power, no other worldly magic, no treasure trove of knowledge or skills was given to him. He was dropped as a mere human, a slightly stronger than average human, into a world where his goal was to simply teach others upon pain of death.-----Full Name of Story [Teaching Heroes of Might and Magic: Mentor of Main Characters]And for the synopsis, I'll first of all state that I am not good at writing them, and this may not have explained the story very well. So I'll just state what the story includes, and what it doesn't. It includes Immortals, demons, gods, etc, you get the idea. What it doesn't include is an actually powerful main character. The main character has a set of unique skills, which include lying, cheating, faking, and all around poker face to get him in and out of situations.Again, the Synopsis needs to be worked on, but for now, that is what it is.
