Next day early in the morning Julian gets up and detach his tent and other camp items as he rides towards the nearest seashore when he reaches there he release all his pokemon to let them train by their own, he releases Gyarados into the water, he calls Elekid and Gengar to train together with him.

Gyarados after being exposed to a large water body swims around on top for a little and after that dives deep underwater as he goes down several pokemon makes a path for him as they just get scared seeing such a big pokemon, Gyarados enjoys swimming freely in the ocean's water as he goes further and further he encounters a Wailord which is 14 meters long, Gyarados becomes excited and challenges the Wailord to a battle, as they battle under the water which causes a storm underwater at last even though the Wailord has more HP it could not be compared to the Raw power of Gyarados and loses, Gyarados like his previous fight with Wailord goes and challenge other powerful pokemon and gain battle experience he rarely met any match but he just found one a Milotic which was above Gyarados level but Gyarados was not a normal Gyarados and way stronger than his peers and as they battled the whole sea floor was blown away creating huge craters every were any pokemon that was in that area fled half a kilometer from the battlefield, after two hours of continues batteling Gyarados finally came on the top, after defeating Milotic he started to go to other places to search for opponents.

Julian, on the other hand, didn't know anything as he was busy training with Elekid and Gengar, back to Gyarados as he was moving forward he was suddenly surrounded by five wild Gyarados and it looked like they didn't like Gyarados due to his color and his power so they thought of ganging him but Gyarados didn't mind as he took it as a challenge.

One of the normal Gyarados attacked by using tackle but our Gyarados easily dodged it and used bite on the wild Gyarados grabbing it by the neck and throwing it back towards the other Gyarados sending other two Gyarados crashing down with it.

Seeing there friends tossed away the other two Gyarados became angry and used hyper beam combined and sent it towards Julian's Gyarados and he also countered them using a fully powered hyper beam of his own which easily broke through the opponents hyper beam and smashed on them creating a huge wave in the water and sending them towards their fallen friends, now as all the wild Gyarados were tangled into a group our Gyarados sent a powerful dragon pulse towards them sending all five of them blasting very far away, Gyarados was now very tired so he decided to go back to Julian.

When Julian saw Gyarados surfacing and he looked tired, he immediately knew that Gyarados was battling other powerful pokemons under the sea.

Julian "Gyarados did you win the battle?"

Gyarados "RAAAWWWRRRRRR" Gyarados roared while nodding his head

Julian understood that he has won, he took out a lot of food specially made for Gyarados so that he can replenish his energy.

Julian 'Looks like he found a really powerful opponent for him to get tired, but still, this is the wild and many pokemon cannot reach the top and those that are at the top are old monsters and won't be found near the shore, the pokemons that are here are all young and still inexperienced to pose a real threat to my Gyarados'

Julian "Eat up all you want so that you can grow more powerful"

Gyarados after eating his full rests Julian, on the other hand, starts to train with Elekid and Gengar again

Julian "Elekid now channel electricity on your hand and try to punch with full power, and Gengar continue practicing sucker punch"

After instructing them he walks towards Monferno and Heatran

Julian instructs them on how to stimulate the move and watches them as they perform the move surprisingly both of them were able to perform the move, seeing that both of them had gained exceptional control over the fire they could learn any fire type move if they want, he then instructs Heatran on how to use stone edge and calls Monferno with him

Julian "Ok Monferno we will now move on with our close combat training, you have already mastered the basic, now its time to move on to intermediate level"

Monferno nods his head and is excited to take the next step to reach new heights in close combat as it is one of his main offensive moves.

Julian starts to display different types of combinations which can be performed on different circumstances, as Monferno studies these moves seriously and memorize them, he practices these moves for a little and next moment he spars with Julian who defeats him miserably by pointing out many flaws in his moments.

Like this all his pokemon spent time training and learning new moves, Pidgeotto has learned steel wing and brave bird, Kabuto has learned bubble beam, mud shot, sand attack, and water gun, Gengar and Elekid have also learned the respected moves which they were practicing, Ivysaur had learned synthesis and Giga Drain.
