'General Manager, even though what you said is true and people have been coming to make a fuss in the office these few days, you might scare her away if you are so forthcoming.'

Li and Chief Zhang locked gazes with each other. Their eyes were filled with worry.

Meanwhile, Zhao Youlin did not think she was wrong for saying so. It was better to take precautionary measures now as it would be too late if and when things went wrong. 

Before Zhao Youlin joined Zhao Enterprise, she had already predicted that she would not have peaceful days in the future. 

In truth, it turned out that what Zhao Youlin had thought was right. Ever since she joined the company, she had always been bothered with troubles.

The first person was Zhao Yifei, and the second was Zhao Youxi. Finally, even Sun Fengzi and others came to cause her trouble. All of them were very annoying.

Most importantly, these people would definitely continue to provoke and cause her trouble in the future. As such, Zhao Youlin wanted to look for another secretary.

At least, when Xiao Jingyao was not around, someone could block these people outside and allow her to have more time to prepare herself.

Zhao Youlin had initially thought that the human resource department would recruit a male secretary for her after stating the requirements to them. A male secretary could protect the defenseless Li at the very least.

Little did she know that the human resource department ended up recruiting a female. Besides, this girl looked like she could fall down easily with a single push!

However, against everyone's expectations, the girl did not seem to be intimidated by Zhao Youlin's words. Instead, she looked calm and raised her eyebrows. She smiled faintly and said, "General Manager, considering the request you've stated, I'm afraid it might not be convincing if I don't bring out my skills to you on the spot."

The girl's eyes sparkled. The smile remained on her cute face. Yet, it gave off an unusual air due to her full confidence and a touch of pride.

The way Zhao Youlin looked at the girl changed slightly. The corners of her lips unwittingly curled upward. "So… how do you want to prove yourself?"

The girl smiled. She cast a glance at the only guy on the spot discreetly, which was Chief Zhang from the human resource department. Her intention was naturally understood from her gesture. 

Zhao Youlin crossed her arms. A hint of interest appeared in her eyes. "Are you able to subdue him?"

Li, who was standing behind Zhao Youlin and the other party involved, were stunned.

Li was the first to react to this. She looked at Chief Zhang; he was almost twice the size of the girl. She waved her hand and shouted, "How is that possible? Ms. Su is so skinny. How can she subdue Chief Zhang?! No way, no way. She might get injured by accident."

Zhao Youlin did not respond to her. She fixed her gaze on the girl and asked, "What do you think?"

The girl smiled coyly. "How will I know if I don't give it a try?"

Zhao Youlin had expected this answer from her, and she smiled. She raised her chin at Chief Zhang, gesturing him to walk up to the girl. "If so, let's give it a try. Chief Zhang, don't show mercy just because she is a girl."

Chief Zhang frowned as he looked at the girl before him. He could not figure out how things had turned out like this. He was only here to send her over to them!

Regardless of how hesitant Chief Zhang was, under Zhao Youlin's eerie gaze, he had to bite the bullet anyway. He whispered the word "sorry". Then, he closed his eyes and swung his fist at the girl. 

"Ah....!" Li shrieked loudly in shock and reached out to cover her mouth.

To everyone's surprise, the young lady did not cry out in pain, which was what they had expected. Instead, it had been replaced by the sound of a dull thud as well as Chief Zhang groaning in pain. 

Li was dumbfounded when she saw everything that laid before her. Without knowing when and how, the tall and robust Chief Zhang was knocked down to the ground by the girl. 

The girl acted so fast that Li was not able to see clearly how she struck him. Chief Zhang was held down on the floor while the girl was uninjured!

Chief Zhang was upset too. When he had closed his eyes and struck her, he did not strike anything. Instead, he felt his head spinning around. 

When he instinctively opened his eyes to look at the situation, he was floating mid-air. 

Flying… Indeed, he was flying! All his life, this was Chief Zhang's first time experiencing this sensation of weightlessly flying in the air! 

Before he could figure out what was going on, his back hit the floor so hard that even a big guy like him nearly cried out in tears! 

The only person who saw the girl's movement clearly was Zhao Youlin. She had been quietly watching all this at the side.

Zhao Youlin's eyes sparkled. When Chief Zhang swung his fist at the girl, Zhao Youlin saw clearly how the girl had quickly moved her leg forward. Then, she moved sideways to dodge his fist. Her right hand was as flexible as a water snake as she wrapped it around Chief Zhang's outstretched hand. After that, she moved slightly in place, and her petite body quickly leaned to his front.

She kicked Chief Zhang's leg with her right leg. While he was losing his balance, she used ingenious movements to send him flying.

Was this… a shoulder throw? She did the over-the-shoulder slam very swiftly and with great strength.

Zhao Youlin's eyes carried a hint of admiration. It looked like she had judged the book by its cover. This girl did have some skills.

On the other hand, the girl did not think that she had done anything marvelous. She straightened her body, turned around, and looked at the onlookers, Zhao Youlin and Li. She smiled sweetly. "I forgot to tell you guys that I used to be a national champion of the judo junior group. It happened a few years ago. Luckily, my skills aren't rusty." 

The dumbstruck Li thought to herself. 'My eyes must be deceiving me. I thought I finally saw a girl who can really be classified as sweet and innocent, but now, I've learned that this girl is a tiger in disguise! This is totally absurd!'

The miserable Chief Zhang thought to himself. 'Are the young girls nowadays so fierce? She's amazing!'

Clap. 

While some were smiling and some were stunned, clapping sounds were heard by the side and broke the bizarre atmosphere in the office.

All eyes were on Zhao Youlin. Chief Zhang hastily got himself to his feet in a flurry of motion. He cradled his aching back and asked tentatively, "General Manager, what do you think of the new secretary…?"

Chief Zhang looked embarrassed. After all, he was a big guy, and yet, he had easily been defeated by a young lady. How shameful was that?

Zhao Youlin smiled faintly as she looked at the young girl. She nodded. "I've underestimated you. Introduce yourself to us. In the future, we'll be seeing each other very frequently. We can't keep referring to you as Ms. Su."

'Does that mean I've proven myself?' A glimpse of glee flashed across the girl's sparkling eyes. She looked up at Zhao Youlin and smiled. "Hi, everyone. My name is Su He. Nice to meet all of you."
