Loving A STRANGER Chapter 374

However, the woman in the old photo...
Stephen took a picture of the photo, then closed the safe.
After returning to the clinic, Stephen snapped his fingers again by Adolph's ear, and he woke up at once.
"What happened..." He shook his head, feeling a little dizzy.
"You said you felt a little dizzy just then, and you've lain here for a while. Do you feel better now?" Stephen asked with great respect. "Do you want to have a check? You're in the clinic now anyway."
"No need." Adolph waved his hand. "Let's go home now!" "No problem. Let me take my car key."

In a restaurant.
Kylie ordered many dishes.
"Wow, your appetite is so good!" Dinah was surprised looking at the dishes on the table, then said to Kylie, "How come you don't gain any weight at all!"
Kylie laughed, then approached Dinah's ear. "Of course, I've gained some. 36D now, ha-ha."
Dinah looked down at her 34B boobs.
"Don't worry. They'll be bigger too in the future." Kylie had a bite of a slice of pizza. "How is everything going now?"
Dinah sighed, supporting her jaw with her hands. "Agnes didn't tell Stephen I'm pregnant, but Stephen didn't pay much attention to me even though Agnes treated me unusually kind. My boobs didn't get bigger, but my waist did!"
"Your mother-in-law treats you quite well!" Kylie ate another piece of pizza, then blinked at Dinah. "As long as you sleep with Star, it'll be the truth sooner or later."
Thinking of that, Dinah felt sadder.
"Stop talking about me. How about you? How is your film?"
"Um, not bad." Kylie wiped her mouth. "Lord Ethan is so generous that he bought tickets for the staff in the Century Group to watch the film for free."

"Wow." When Dinah just took a knife and fork, Ethan pushed the door of the private room open, walking inside.
"How does it taste?" the man asked Kylie.
"Quite good!" Kylie pulled a chair next to her out and gave Ethan a slice of pizza when he was seated.
Ethan wasn't a vegetarian, but he disliked high-calorie food.
However, the pizza Kylie ordered was covered by a thick layer of cheese, and the barbecue sauce was even dropping.
"I'm not hungry." He leaned backward to escape Kylie's hand.
Dinah sat across the table, watching them with interest.
"Really?" Kylie looked at him.
"Enjoy it yourself." Ethan poured a glass of juice for her.
Kylie nodded. Since he hated fast food, she would enjoy it herself. She took a large bite of the pizza and even licked the barbecue sauce on her finger.
Dinah noticed Ethan, who was a neat freak frowning.
The next second, Ethan took a wipe and cleaned Kylie's hand.
Kylie was quiet and moved near to let him clean her hand. However, once Ethan finished, she abruptly grabbed his neck.
Ethan was surprised. When he just turned, Kylie approached him with barbecue sauce all around her mouth.
There was an evil smile on her lips, and more barbecue sauce came out from her mouth.
Ethan was displeased, but Kylie didn't afraid of him at all. She kissed him right before Dinah's face and pushed the pizza into his mouth by her tongue.
The man caught her hands in case she would stain his clothes, and Kylie raised her head, enjoying Ethan's kiss.
When she ate it herself, she thought it was so delicious with creamy sauce. However, when Ethan pushed the pizza back into her mouth, she felt so disgusting.
She felt like throwing up and pushed the man's chest wanting to escape.

Ethan, of course, wouldn't let her go!
When Kylie swallowed the pizza, the man finally let her go. "Not bad," he said, then took another tissue to clean Kylie's mouth.
Seeing that, Dinah felt so envious. She really hoped Stephen could spoil her like that too.
Right at this moment, Stephen walked into the private room.
His sight fell on Ethan first, then on Kylie before he sat down next to Dinah.
Seeing he wouldn't give her a glance, Dinah was mad and had a large bite of pizza.
Stephen frowned, and finally looked at her. "You're getting disgusting."
"People all eat pizza in this way!" Dinah said and had another bite. "Do you think they're all disgusting?"
Stephen gave her a side glance, then unfold a napkin on his legs. "No one eats pizza the way as you do."
Dinah disagreed. Kylie just had eaten pizza in a more disgusting way, but Ethan didn't mind at all. He even shared it with her! Dinah thought she should share a slice of pizza with Stephen too.
Seeing that, Kylie pushed the plate of pizza to the front of Dinah.
Dinah pulled a slice out, but the sauce was splashed out by accident.
Before Stephen could avoid it, there were three dark stains left on her white suit.
"Oops, sorry," Dinah said at once.
Stephen seemed to be in a bad mood, but he didn't say anything, probably because Ethan and Kylie were here.
He used a wipe to clean her suit, like nothing had happened, and ignored Dinah.
"Is Sally awake?" Sally asked Kylie.
"Not yet when I left." Kylie laid her hand on Ethan's leg, looking at Stephen. "Are you familiar with Sally's boyfriend?"
When she asked that, Kylie felt Ethan's big palm covering her hand, and he tapped on the back of her hand.
Was it a hint for her?
"Not really," Stephen said with a smile. "His family turned to me for help once before, but I didn't agree."
"Oh." Kylie nodded, then changed the topic. "I heard you're very famous in the medical industry, which is quite surprising."
"He?" Dinah suddenly joined their talk. "He's a talented doctor, but..."
Dinah suddenly noticed Stephen's displeased look and stopped at once. "Well, I just heard of it too."
Kylie understood Stephen must be hiding something from her.
She held Ethan's hand with their fingers interlaced under the table.
Stephen couldn't see what was going on under the table, but he could imagine what just had happened from the sauce on Ethan's lips.
He didn't look at Kylie, but asked her, "You're eating a lot recently. Don't you need to keep your figure?"

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
