Maxwell was entering the castle, carrying the unconscious Ivy in his arms and holding the golden dagger in his right hand. He was smiling triumphantly because his plan works just the way he envisioned it to be.

He looked at Ivy's beautiful face. "Welcome back inside the castle, my love!" he said grinning. He feels elated that she's finally back in his domain. He will never let her go again. He will never allow any guy to touch her body again. Ivy is only his, exclusively. He almost lost her, but now she's back on his side. He knows how powerful her blood is. She can be of many uses to him. Therefore she is valuable to him.

The old servant looked at him, his eyes widened in shock. "Huh? My Lord? W-hen d-did you able to exit the castle? Why are you not burning to ashes? And who is that lady you are carrying in your arms?"

Maxwell grinned and erupted into peals of laughter. "Hurry, ring the bell, Damazo! I want my brother to see me!" he said and entered the gate. He proceeds to the waiting room to wait for his brothers.

Damazo was still in shock, so Maxwell placed Ivy on the sofa and pressed the ring button on the wall.

A few minutes later, Lothaire and Xenon rushed into the room, their eyes widened in shock upon seeing their brother sitting on the sofa together with Ivy. Yet they can't get closer because they can no longer exit the borderline, if they do, they will burn to ashes.

"Brother, how come you are outside? I mean how did you exited the blazing barrier? How did you do it?" Xenon asked excitedly.

Lothaire was speechless for a few seconds. They'd been waiting for this moment! To see their brother able to escape the castle unharmed blows his mind away.

Maxwell grinned. "I plan everything well. Wait... let me get inside so that I can tell you everything," he said. He picked up the unconscious Ivy and was about to enter the borderline when his brother speak.

"Wait...brother. Why are you coming back inside? You are already outside, make the best out of it!" Lothaire told his brother.

Maxwell grinned. "It's okay, from now on, we can leave and enter the castle anytime we like, as long we have Ivy and the dagger!" he broke the good news to them.

"Really -?" asked Xenon.

"Yes! I can demonstrate it to you guys!" Maxwell said happily and he stepped into the dangerous line allowing him to enter the forsaken castle once again.

Once he entered the room, he put Ivy on the sofa, holds the dagger in front of his siblings, and cut Ivy's right arm with the dagger. Then the dagger produced a blinding light and turned into a sword. Then he used the sword to slice the blazing barrier inside the house creating a square gap big enough for two persons to go through.

Lothaire and Xenon was shocked. They never expected that their wildest dream will finally come true! It's happening...!

Maxwell looked at his brother's shocked faces. "What are you waiting for? Get out of the castle and explore the world! Freedom is ours! Just come back when you are done with your adventures outside!" he told them.

"W-what about you?" asked Xenon.

"Don't worry about me, as long I have Ivy and this dagger in my hands I can leave this castle anytime," he said.

Lothaire and Xenon grinned and zoomed out of the gap opening excitedly, then it started to shut off again.

"Now! Go and hunt those escapees outside the castle! I think they're still outside!" Maxwell commanded.

"Alright, let's go!" Xenon said to Lothaire in glee.

Maxwell was smiling happily, he feels proud of his achievements. He picked up Ivy again and brought her to the secret chamber to imprisoned her. He gently deposited her in the bed.

He left the secret room, going to his room to hide the dagger in a secured place. There's no need to hurry going outside now since he can always exit the castle anytime he wishes. He just wants his brothers to enjoy the outside world.

Even though he saw many of his dark armies perished in the battle, but it's so worth it! He has no regrets.

He lies in the bed closing his eyes and recalling what happened before he was able to exit the blazing barrier. He pretended as one of the elves in the later part. In the beginning, he was able to secure one of the leaves and manipulated it with his black magic, and joined the rest in the cave, undetected. His spirit occupies the leaf while he hid his body somewhere.

It was a perfect plan, he was able to enter and leave the cave without being suspected.

And the best thing about it, he was able to kill that guy whom Ivy falls in love with. He doesn't deserve to live! He deserves to die for taking away his beloved woman.

Despite his jealousy and anger... he still rejoices in the fact that he got Ivy back and the powerful dagger. He got three big accomplishment today! That's worth a celebration! Later when Ivy finally awakened he will celebrate with her and make love to her. No need to maintain her virginity because he no longer has any plans to resurrect his father.

He's been holding himself for too long when it comes to getting intimate with Ivy.

Now there's no need for holding himself back! He will get her whether she likes it or not!

Outside the castle.

Lothaire and Xenon were hovering all around the castle and the neighboring areas, yet they can't see a single escapee loitering around the base of the hill. They must have already left the vicinity of the castle and already gone far away.

They have seen the fresh blood on the grassy ground but not a soul was nowhere to be seen.

"I can't see anyone..." said Lothaire.

"Me too! Let's go to the nearest town and explore the places there. I haven't seen the outside world for a long time," Xenon said excitedly.

"Alright, let's go!" Lothaire replied.

The vampire siblings hovered in the air like giant birds, their black cloak flowing behind them. They were heading in the direction of the east, wanting to have a good time in the next town.

Back inside the castle.

Ivy opened her eyes slowly and looked at the room...she scrambled in the bed in shock after seeing that she was back in her prison room inside the castle!

Oh no!

Why she's back here!?

The last thing she remembered...she was locked in an embrace with Zemeth and then the thick black smoke appeared and enveloped everyone... then she loses consciousness all of a sudden. But why the hell she's back in the castle? Inside her prison room!?

What's going on?

Oh no! Maxwell must have waited for them outside the castle! But how did he get out of the castle?

He must have escape together with them? How? Why she didn't see him? It's impossible not to notice him among the crowd!

Unless...

That's right! Unless...he pretended to be one of the elves. If he transforms himself into one of the elves then she will never notice him at all.

This is not good!

What happened to Zemeth? To the rest who already escape? She just hopes they already left the area of the castle, or else, the vampire brothers might send men to hunt them, all their efforts will be wasted.

She sat on the edge of the bed as tears were falling from her eyes. She broke into pitiful sobs. Her excitement already evaporated, her happiness was short-lived. Her heart died.

Now that she's back inside the castle and imprisoned in the secret room. Maxwell will never let her go. Just when she finally meets the love of her life, Zemeth, she was back in Maxwell's dungeon again, plunged in darkness for days to come.

It breaks her heart that she might no longer be able to see Zemeth again.

She continues crying, her body trembled badly due to sadness and misery. The happiness she felt after escaping the castle was replaced with grief and fear.

She was terrified of what Maxwell will do to her. What punishment he will do to her? She was sure this time he will be angry since he must have seen her in a locked embrace with another guy.

The tears never stop falling from her eyes.

Suddenly the door opened and Maxwell entered the room holding a tray of wine and glass and put it in the bed.

He smiled broadly at Ivy's tear stricken eyes. "Welcome back, my dear Ivy! You have no idea... how I miss you so much! Now that your back in my arms again, I'm so happy! Let's mark this occasion and celebrate your come back!" he said, smirking.

He picked up the bottle of wine and poured the liquid into the glass and handed one to her. "Let's drink!" he said.

Ivy continues sobbing, she ignored the glass. She was not in the mood to celebrate. She was sad and suffering inside, she was not happy being captured again! Can't he see that?

"Accept the glass, Ivy! Don't annoy me! You haven't seen me angry at you! You wouldn't like it!" he threatened her. His angry voice vibrated around the room carrying venom.

Ivy raised her head and accepted the glass and drink the wine in one go. Then she went coughing for a few seconds not liking the bitter taste of the wine.

Maxwell was grinning wickedly, lusting at her form. "Good girl!" he said and drink his wine. He placed the tray in the table in the corner and began taking off his clothes in front of her.

Ivy's eyes widened in fear and shock. "W-what a...are y...you d...doing!?" she asked in a trembling voice.

"What do you think?" he said, smirking, looking into her eyes with unconcealed lust and longing.
