Age Of Islands: I Can See Through All Things Chapter 6

After the shield blocked the Gold Swordsman's sword skill, the speed of the island finally increased.
The huge island was like a sharp sword, instantly breaking the calmness of the sea and the endless waves!
Anything that stood in its way was mercilessly smashed into pieces!
Fortunately, there was a shield. Otherwise, with such a terrifying speed, the foundation of the island would not be able to withstand it. The entire island would probably disintegrate after moving for a while.
Nobody on the island would have any chance of survival at all!
The people on the island felt that the Goddess of Luck was watching over them. Many of them even knelt on the ground and prayed sincerely, praying that the Goddess would continue to protect the shield and not disappear.
When the people on the dock saw this, their eyes nearly popped out!
Forget the ordinary people, many of them had never seen this scene before.
However, even the nobles had never encountered such a strange scene, be it in their books and personal experience of island expeditions!
"Oh God, what in the world happened?" Harlen could not help but exclaim.
"Impossible. The family records can't be wrong. How can the speed of the island be so fast? I'm afraid most flying magical beasts don't have such speed!" James could not help but add on.
"Damn it, this damn Jack, how did he do it!" Raffles roared angrily.
"Unbelievable! This is simply a miracle, a miracle from God. Could it be that Jack really is supported by God?" Harlen was a little flustered at this time.
He thought of the strange things Jack had, and what he had always said.
Previously, he had always thought of Jack's words as those from a rebellious maniac.
Unexpectedly, what Jack said was true. Perhaps, there really was God behind all of this!
"No matter what it is, or how he escaped, the existence of this thing will definitely change the entire situation in the sea. I must have him!" James' eyes lit up.

James saw a terrifying possibility behind Jack's divine power!
That's right. Once he got hold of this magical item, it would be enough to change the situation of this world.
And he, James, must get this thing and push the worth of his family to the highest!
"Jack, no matter where you are, I have to find you and skin you alive!" Raffles gritted his teeth.
...
Aaron, who was standing at the side, watched the scene with a complicated look.
This Jack was not simple. He regretted his last action of raising the price!
Especially when he did not manage to kill Jack earlier, it made him even more flustered.
"Master, what do we do now?" The Golden Swordsman beside Aaron could not help but ask.
Aaron shook his head and did not speak!
Even now, his face was still filled with shock!
In the slave business, almost all the island owners had to purchase slaves from him before they left.
Therefore, he had seen too many islands set sail!
He was already used to it.
But today's scene directly overturned all his knowledge.
No island could achieve such terrifying speed, be it the chronicles of the Noah Continent or the events he had experienced.
If he had to explain this, Aaron could only attribute it to a miracle!
That's right, only the omnipresent and omnipotent God could make such a huge piece of land reach such a terrifying speed!
A few young nobles saw Aaron and knew that he was knowledgeable. They came over and one of them asked, "Aaron, is this speed normal?"
Hearing the young noble's question, everyone could not help but tilt their heads and listen.
Aaron shook his head and said respectfully, "Noble young masters, I have never seen or heard of such speed before. Not only that, I'm afraid that no island has half the speed of this island."

"Could it be that there are mythological beasts pulling the island?" Raffles asked through gritted teeth.
"A mythological beast?" Hearing this, Aaron could not help but shake his head, "Young Master Raffles, let's not talk about whether or not such a huge island can be pulled to reach such a speed. If there is, it's at least a level-five rare magical beast. I think no one here can stop it!"
"Then why? Is it a miracle of God?" Harlen asked with reverence.
"Maybe, that's the only possibility." Aaron nodded, "Speed is only part of it. Have you ever wondered why the entire island isn't even covered in mud at such a terrifying speed?"
A Gold Swordsman who had been chasing Jack interrupted: "Is it because of the shield?"
"That's right! This shield is too terrifying. The current speed of Jack's island is already close to the speed of the Holy Light Dragon. With such a fast speed, the wind pressure produced would probably be able to easily dismember even a Platinum Swordsman!" Aaron said.
Gasp!
Everyone gasped at Aaron's words.
Even Raffles, who had given orders to kill Jack, was stunned.
He was the son of an Earl, and he had extremely high authority in this place, but that did not mean he was stupid.
What was a Platinum Swordsman?
That was practically the trump card of a huge noble family!
It was enough to stabilize the status of a clan for a hundred years!
Each one had a higher status than the son of the Earl!
The wind pressure generated by Jack's island could actually kill a Platinum Swordsman at will, which meant that Jack was not someone they could match!
The people at the side were also stunned.
Platinum Swordsman!
They could not help but look at the Golden Swordsman standing high above them.
There were also the arrogant Silver Swordsmen.
These were existences that low-level citizens did not dare to think about or provoke!
"Gasp, this is too terrifying. What kind of existence is this Jack?"
"It's a good thing that we didn't make him our enemy. Otherwise, if we were to really fight, we probably wouldn't be able to last a second!"
"Hmph, does he think he can move the island on land? Besides, we have so many Gold Swordsmen and Silver Swordsmen. Jack has no chance to turn the tables here!"
"Hehe, is your brain filled with feces? Didn't you hear from Master Aaron that even a Platinum Swordsman can't block it?"
"Hehe, what I can't figure out the most is why he chose to leave this place with such a terrifying weapon. If it were me, I would have definitely looted the entire town and left in a carefree manner!"
"F*ck, what you're thinking is very dangerous. Aren't you afraid that the noble lords will find trouble with you? Of course, you can't take the risk. Let me help you. When the time comes, I'll give you half of the daughters and wives of the nobles!"
...
No one knew that Jack's item could only be used once.
Otherwise, given his personality, he might have left in such a manner!
One had to know that this island was not small. It could house a thousand people without any significant burden.
The more people there were, the better the development of the island would be!
Unfortunately, this was Jack's limit!
However, no matter what the people at the pier thought, everything here would be recorded in the annals of Noah Continent!

Queen of the Hill
Howdy there, partner. I'm so glad you've stumbled upon this story of mine. It's a bit of an experiment I've always wanted to try: writing a female protagonist people would enjoy reading. Of course, my amazing writing skills and epic prose won't be enough to convince you, so I've composed a list that'll prove just how much you'll love Daphne: 1. She has that good ol' Southern hospitality 2. She knows a lot of Southern Slang 3. SHE'S A MOTHER TRUCKIN' DRAGON I dunno about you, but I'd like to read a story where a young, Southern woman gets reincarnated as a hill dragon and has to fight vicious fairies, handsome dwarves, and plants that make you sneeze assisted by only her wits and a very passive-aggressive system that sends her weird emoticons. But hey. That's just me. Give it a chance! Tarnation Station is coming and there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it! So why don't you hop on and enjoy the ride?

Through Mist, Veil, and Summer
Anna Lawrence is a quiet girl who'd rather sit and write poetry than bustle about with her peers. After an incident resulting in a panic attack and a trip to the hospital, Anna's foster mother sends her to stay with her aunt and uncle for the summer. Upon arriving in the small mountain town of Glenwood, Anna finds herself caught in the machinations of another world on the other side of the fog: warring witches, animal-headed skypirates, and the boldest, bravest, most interesting girl Anna has ever met. THROUGH MIST, VEIL, AND SUMMER is my homage to Studio Ghibli films. It's a fantasy romance with a dash of adventure and a sprinkling of self-contemplation. It's a story that moves a little slower, a little quieter. It is my fourth novel, written between October 1, 2017 and January 6, 2019.
