But Huyen Di assigned someone to deliver her nutritious meals . Huyen Di wasn’t an easy man to befriend, but he was straight forward and a disciplined man .

Su Xiao Ya was cleaning the tables in the cafeteria . She noticed a beautiful young girl was smiling at her . The girl’s face looked familiar .

A woman approached Su Xiao Ya and obstructed Su Xiao Ya’s view of the girl .

‘Are you Su Xiao Ya?’ Zi Lan asked .

‘Yes,’ Su Xiao Ya said .

‘Can we talk in private?’ Zi Lan asked .

‘My work shift is almost over,’ Su Xiao Ya said . ‘We can talk in the lobby . ’

‘I’ll wait for you there,’ Zi Lan said .

The smiling girl was Yue Ni . Yue Ni heard about Huyen Di’s girlfriend, and she was curious to meet Huyen Di’s girlfriend in person . She investigated Su Xiao Ya’s background so she recognised Zi Lan was Su Xiao Ya’s ex-husband’s fiance .

In the lobby, Yue Ni called Huyen Di .

‘Hello,’ Huyen Di greeted .

‘Uncle Huyen, do you know where I am?’ Yue Ni asked .

Huyen Di hung up the phone .

Yue Ni pouted her lips, and she called Huyen Di again .

‘Uncle Huyen, listen to me before you hang up otherwise you’ll have something to regret,’ Yue Ni said . ‘I’m at the future Mrs Huyen’s second workplace . Guess who I saw?’

‘Who?’ Huyen Di asked .

‘Uncle Huyen, I need your help with the mission assigned to me for next week,’ Yue Ni negotiated .

‘I’ll do it,’ Huyen Di said .

‘Zi Lan is the fiance of the future Mrs Huyen’s ex-husband,’ Yue Ni said .

‘Get to the point,’ Huyen Di said .

‘Fine,’ Yue Ni said . ‘Zi Lan is here because she thinks the future Mrs Huyen is easy to bully . ’

‘Young mistress, I’ll help you with your missions for the next month if you watch over her for me,’ Huyen Di said .

‘Uncle Huyen, leave it up to me,’ Yue Ni said . ‘I won’t let anything happen to the future Mrs Huyen . ’

After Su Xiao Ya’s work shift was over, she changed out of her uniform into a simple black dress and talked privately with Zi Lan .

Zi Lan couldn’t believe Li Cheng married an ugly country bumpkin like Su Xiao Ya .

‘Miss Su, I’m Zi Lan,’ Zi Lan said . ‘I’m Li Cheng’s fiance . I don’t want you to interfere in my relationship with Li Cheng . Li Tu told me you’ve been disturbing everyone in the Li Household to beg for money . I don’t care how generous Li Cheng was in the past . Zi Lan wouldn’t accept her husband having a mistress, even if it was his ex-wife .

Yue Ni signalled the security guards to bring the sign to her .

Yue Ni gave Zi Lan a Yue’s law firm’s business card .

Zi Lan was confident Li Cheng wouldn’t divorce her . Li Cheng was married to Su Xiao Ya for five years, but Li Cheng didn’t stop loving Zi Lan . She stood, held her chin high and walked out of the building .

‘Aunt Huyen, I’m Yue Ni,’ Yue Ni said . ‘My big brother is Zhen Wu . It’s my pleasure to meet aunt Huyen . ’

‘Hello,’ Su Xiao Ya greeted .

Su Xiao Ya couldn’t believe Yue Ni was her CEO’s little sister .

She was going to give Su Xiao Ya a makeover to knock Huyen Di’s socks off at the celebration party after the press conference announcing Zhen Wu as the CEO of Yue’s company . Then Huyen Di would gratefully take on her missions for six months . The party was in two days, it gave her plenty of time to give Su Xiao Ya a makeover .

‘Aunt Huyen, do you want me to help you take revenge on the Li Household?’ Yue Ni asked .

Yue Ni checked out Su Xiao Ya’s body figure . Underneath the frumpy black dress was a model’s body .

‘I only want them to leave me and my little sister, Xiao Min alone,’ Su Xiao Ya said . ‘Li Cheng even went to my little sister’s school to look for me . ’

For the next two days, Yue Ni’s family members were curious why she mysteriously disappeared . When they called Yue Ni, she told them she was busy with a secret mission .

Yue Ni instructed the best hairstylist in the city to straighten and cut Su Xiao Ya’s hair to suit Su Xiao Ya’s facial structure . Then Yue Ni brought Su Xiao Ya to a dress boutique, and she bought Su Xiao Ya a short designer cocktail dress that flattered Su Xiao Ya’s model body . Finally Yue Ni booked a makeup artist to apply makeup on Su Xiao Ya’s face, Yue Ni specifically asked the makeup artist to accentuate Su Xiao Ya’s beautiful eyes .

‘Aunt Huyen, what do you think?’ Yue Ni asked .

Su Xiao Ya stared at herself in the mirror . She couldn’t believe the beautiful woman in the mirror was her . Yue Ni bought her a short silver dress with silver kitty heels, because Yue Ni didn’t want her to injure herself while pregnant .

Yue Ni walked a circle around Su Xiao Ya .

‘Aunt Huyen, you’re missing one thing,’ Yue Ni said . ‘Confidence . It’ll make you look even more beautiful . ’

‘Xiao Ni, thank you,’ Su Xiao Ya said . ‘But you can stop teasing me by calling me aunt Huyen all day long . ’

‘Aunt Huyen it doesn’t matter if I stop calling you aunt Huyen,’ Yue Ni said . ‘You’ll still become my aunt Huyen soon, and a beautiful woman inside and out . Later let’s go into the banquet hall, and show how blind the Li Household are to overlook my beautiful aunt Huyen . ’

‘Young mistress, here are the jewellery you asked us to prepare,’ a Ni Sheng gang member said .

Yue Ni took out the diamond necklace and diamond earring and she helped Su Xiao Ya wear them .

‘Aunt Huyen, don’t worry,’ Yue Ni said . ‘I sent the invoices to uncle Huyen, and he’ll reimburse me . Besides, I designed these diamond jewellery for aunt Huyen . If you don’t wear them then it means you hate my designs . ’

‘Xiao Ni, I love your designs,’ Su Xiao Ya said .

Su Xiao Ya thought the mischievous Yue Ni was a loveable girl .

‘Uncle Huyen, what took you so long?’ Yue Ni asked .

‘I was busy with someone’s mission,’ Huyen Di said .

Huyen Di stepped in front of Su Xiao Ya, and he linked arms with her .

‘Everything looks good on you,’ Huyen Di said .

Su Xiao Ya realised the main reason she agreed to the makeover was because she wanted to impress Huyen Di instead of making Li Cheng regretful .

Yue Ni patted Huyen Di’s stiff shoulder .

‘Uncle Huyen, if you think aunt Huyen looks beautiful then say so,’ Yue Ni said . ‘Aunt Huyen ignore uncle Huyen . Uncle Huyen watched me grow up, and not once have I heard him praise someone . ’

Su Xiao Ya agreed with Yue Ni . Huyen Di was someone who didn’t like to flatter people, he was a straight forward man but that made him endearing to her .

Huyen Di escorted Su Xiao Ya into the banquet hall . Wo Ta Tian brought his pregnant wife to attend the celebration . Zhen Wu the guest of honor was missing . The other guests didn’t recognise Su Xiao Ya, they thought she was Huyen Di’s girlfriend .

Huyen Di led Su Xiao Ya to where Cheng Yi, Bai Yu Tian and Chu Gian were chatting while the other guests were admiring them .

‘My fiance, Su Xiao Ya,’ Huyen Di said .

The four of them were taken back by Huyen Di’s words . Chu Gian was the first to recover .

‘Congratulations,’ Chu Gian said .

‘Old man Huyen Di, if you’re getting hitched too then I’m the only bachelor left,’ Cheng Yi said .

Chu Gian patted Cheng Yi’s shoulder .

‘Cheng Yi, do your best,’ Chu Gian said .

Bai Yu Tian and Cheng Yi followed Chu Gian to the buffet table to give Huyen Di and Su Xiao Ya privacy .

‘Why did you say I’m your fiance?’ Su Xiao Ya asked .

‘Don’t you like me?’ Huyen Di asked .

‘I… are you being serious?’ Su Xiao Ya asked .

‘Do I look like I’m joking?’ Huyen Di asked .

‘No,’ Su Xiao Ya said .

‘Boss Huyen,’ a Ni Sheng gang member called .

‘We’ll discuss this later,’ Huyen Di said . ‘I have to go take care of something . ’

Su Xiao Ya went to get a glass of juice, and she bumped into a man .

‘Yes, I’m Su Xiao Ya,’ Su Xiao Ya . ‘I can dress however I want to . We are strangers . ’

‘Are you acting like you don’t know me because you want to be with Huyen Di?’ Li Cheng asked . ‘Does he know you’re my ex-wife, and second hand goods?’

Li Cheng didn’t know why he said cruel words to Su Xiao Ya . He was jealous Su Xiao Ya dressed plainly when she was married to him, but turned into a different woman for Huyen Di .

Su Xiao Ya was used to insults from members of the Li Household .

‘Huyen Di knows who I am,’ Su Xiao Ya said . ‘He said he doesn’t care because he loves me . He’s my fiance . Mr Li, leave me and my fiance alone . Go and spend time with your fiance . ’

‘Li Cheng, what’s wrong?’ Zi Lan asked .

‘Nothing,’ Li Cheng said .

‘Su Xiao Ya?’ Zi Lan asked .

After Su Xiao Ya met Huyen Di, she realised she didn’t love Li Cheng . If Zi Lan wanted to be with a pathetic man like Li Cheng then that was Zi Lan’s mistake to make .
