The demonic emperors and Wu Jun did not pass up on the opportunity while the corpse puppet was attacking Wu Yu. They continued to barrage it with attacks.

The disparity between them and the beast corpse puppet seemed insurmountable. The only advantage they had was numbers, and numbers they would use. 

When the beast corpse puppet attacked one person, the rest would press the attack. Even if they were unable to damage it for the moment, if they kept it up they might be able to penetrate its defenses.

"So this is the power of an eternal immortal emperor!" Wu Yu ducked another blast of violet wind, feeling a prickle of fear at the back of his neck. He had almost been unable to make the last somersault.

If he was swept up in the purple wind, he was dead without question. It had even warped the void itself, let alone a measly little Great Void Immortal Realm cultivator.

Although Wu Yu was as strong as other cultivators at the peak of the Great Void Immortal Realm, but the difference between a 9-heavens immortal king and an eternal immortal emperor was extremely huge.

As he ducked and weaved, the others peppered the beast corpse puppet. It suddenly changed targets, heading for Olden Golden Mountain. The purple winds screamed forth, and swept up Olden Golden Mountain in a flash.

"Lodestone heavenly rule!"

Olden Golden Mountain used a defensive technique, summoning up lodestone heavenly rule from within him. The magnetic field formed an electrical web that shielded him within.

This lodestone heavenly rule would probably not break even under Wu Yu's Submerged Cloud Seal, and perhaps just shake a little.

But the beast corpse puppet's purple wind came howling down against it, and shred the electric web to bits before breezing past to Olden Golden Mountain's body!

A tortured scream came from Olden Golden Mountain. The purple wind was twisting his entire body, the heavenly rule running amok inside him. He was in pure agony.

Olden Golden Mountain was a mountain turned demon. Ever since he had gained sentience, he had never experienced such damage before. It felt like the entirety of his mountain body was disintegrating.

Luckily, he was resilient by nature. He was a mountain, not just any ordinary beast. It was difficult for him to die. And as long as his consciousness was not wiped, and his golden mountain body even slightly intact, there was a chance to recover.

The purple gusts raged on within his body, shredding it to bits and continuing to erode his body, even churning up the void there.

Wu Yu watched with trepidation, even while he attacked the beast corpse puppet. He saw that as the purple wind gradually waned, Olden Golden Mountain began to recover!

Although he was seriously injured, he still did not die. This mountain-turned-demon was quite something indeed. And his golden mountain body seemed even stronger than Wu Yu's Invincible Vajra Body.

Of course, after this encounter, his mountainous body was heavily injured. He would need hundreds of thousands of years to recuperate. This was the disadvantage.

While he might have hardy vitality, but once injured, he would need much more time than others in order to heal.

However, just staying alive was an achievement at this point.

Olden Golden Mountain was not dead, and even managed a counterattack once the wind died down. Lodestone heavenly rule formed a terrifying arch of lightning that crackled out towards the beast corpse puppet.

Lodestone heavenly rule was Olden Golden Mountain's strongest move. The metal in his body harnessed a formidable strength that could even damage the beast corpse puppet's scales. They charred under the intense lightning.

At this time, the beast corpse puppet had already turned to someone else. Perhaps it assumed that one blast of purple wind would be enough to deal with Olden Golden Mountain.

Yet, the counter by Olden Golden Mountain's Lodestone heavenly rule was the most effective attack to date, the rest causing seemingly nothing more than an itch-worthy smear on the scales.

The beast corpse puppet returned its attention to Olden Golden Mountain, who immediately retracted all of his energy. Lodestone heavenly rule died in the air as he fled far away.

He could not fight the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet head-on, and could only plink and run.

Even if the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet had no sentience, but it had a battle instinct that responded to its heavenly rule power. It could identify the greatest threat.

It continued to pursue Olden Golden Mountain, sending purple winds his way again!

"Olden Demonic Emperor cannot die!"

Whether Wu Yu or the other demonic emperors, everyone knew that. They sent forth another barrage of assorted heavenly rule powers that overwhelmed the Violet-Eyed Emperor's purple winds!

The wind had been brewing in its mouth, and about to be sent flying towards Olden Golden Mountain, when the jumble of attacks disrupted it. It blew up at the point of release with a terrific explosion. The void at that point was warped, and everything in that area disintegrated.

The absolute force almost wiped out the void there entirely, but the attack directed at Olden Golden Mountain was finally stopped by their concerted efforts.

"Doppelganger heavenly rule!"

Wu Yu did not pause a beat. After ensuring Olden Golden Mountain's safety, he sent out his 1 million doppelgangers.

These 1 million doppelgangers had just been destroyed by the corpse puppet, but they had returned to his body as monkey hairs. Now they appeared again. This was a huge strain on Wu Yu. If they were destroyed again, he would be unable to call on them for a while.

However, doppelganger heavenly rule was able to fire out from all 1 million doppelgangers for now. It formed an incredible beam of heavenly rule that blasted the corpse puppet.

Wu Yu still kept crusader heavenly rule and sanctified flesh heavenly rule active. These two heavenly rule powers ensured that his strength was always at a peak. The coordinated blast landed squarely on the area previously charred.

With a follow-up attack on the already charred scales, they gave way. It was only a small patch of scales, but this was a game-changing step. Now there was a hope of defeating this creature.

A few scales had been completely smashed, and the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet roared hysterically.

This was an eternal demon emperor turned corpse puppet. It had lost the power of speech, and even its memory and sentience. All it remembered was 

Its scream activated its purple light, which rushed outwards. It bathed the entire hall, and all of the demonic emperors, Wu Yu and Wu Jun were caught in it! 

Wu Jun felt like his head was splitting from the pain. As a Primordial Immortal Dragon, he had many layers of innate protection, but they were being stripped away one by one by this purple sonic heavenly rule.

The purple sonic heavenly rule was echoing over and over in his head, scattering his awareness.

Wu Yu was experiencing the same thing. The purple light caught him and then began to go to work in his brain. His head hurt very badly, and he could feel an invasive power working within him.

"That's...... my doppelganger heavenly rule!"

Very quickly, he was able to work alongside the pain. Within his body, he discovered that the purple light had surrounded his doppelganger heavenly rule power.

This purple light had penetrated his body with the purple sonic heavenly rule, sealing his doppelganger heavenly rule. Wu Yu found that it had been lobotomized.

The others were in the same boat. Purple sonic heavenly rule carried purple light within them, and then the humming wrought havoc on their minds.

Of course, Perpetual World Tree, Dignified Lava Beast, Celestial Meteor, and Olden Golden Mountain had no brains in their true forms. However, they still had their heavenly rule powers sealed away.

The purple light was still expanding within their bodies. If it spread to their entire body, they were definitely doomed.

Before that, they had to defeat the corpse puppet!

"No less than what I expected from an eternal immortal emperor...... This is a terrifying technique! There's no defense against it!"

Wu Yu gritted his teeth. With his doppelganger heavenly rule disabled, he still had many other techniques, but he had to defeat the beast corpse puppet, stat.

This unprecedented crisis renewed their sense of unity and urgency. All of them worked together and redoubled their attacks. One less person, and they might be unable to win.

A rare bond was formed between them.

Although the beast corpse puppet had a sharp battle instinct, but they still had the numbers advantage. By taking turns to attack, it was difficult to pin any one of them down.

Their constant heavenly rule power attacks chipped away at more of the black scales. And without the scales, its defensive abilities were heavily discounted, and victory seemed a possibility.
