《The Journey to find the New Golden Emperor》CHAPTER 113 **Matthew’s Punishment**

“Your Highness!”
Matthew woke up to the voice and really didn’t want to get up.
“They are calling you. Tell em to shut up!”
Her voice made him turn to look at her, to see her lazily laying there in his arms.
Tightening his dead arms around her, Matthew chuckled. “Mmm, we should just stay here and sleep!”
“Ok.”
Matthew let out a laugh and put his forehead against hers, “You…I have punishment for you, my dear.”
He saw her eyes open then, and innocently look at him. Putting a hand to her face, he lovingly caressed her cheek, “You naughty girl.”
Surprisingly, she smirked and moved in his arms, climbing up on top of him.
Unable to stop her from doing whatever she wanted, he found himself totally captivated at her current state. She sat up, put her hands on his chest and bit her bottom lip. Her hair wasn’t all that messy, her clothes looked a little rumbled, yet he found her absolutely sensual and beautiful!
Matthew took her hips into his hands and then slowly moved his hands up her clothes, feeling the sexual tension between them already.
“Naughty girl?” She asked, as she stooped lower, closer to his chest and Matthew breathed in, feeling himself grow with desire for her.
Putting his hands down her arms and to her hands, he sat up and found that even though there was a bump between them, it was still quite erotic…
Taking her mouth with his, Matthew found himself his home. He belonged with her, this mouth was his, this body was his…He didn’t want to be anywhere this woman wasn’t!
Pulling away, he frankly stated, “I don’t care why you left, but your punishment is to never leave me behind again!”
Suddenly, she stilled. Matthew felt her stiffen in nearly every area of her entire body and looked at her face.
He watched her blink, then look down, away from him.
“Sahara?”
Silence overwhelmed the tent, and they could hear what was going on outside. It looked like nearly everything was already done, that they were getting to a point that they were waiting on him and his Princess, so that they could start traveling once again…
“Do you hear me, my sweet Princess? We stay together from now on…All of us…”
Putting a hand on her swollen body, Matthew pulled her head back up and stared at her…
Seeing a few tears in her eyes, he melted and wiped them away.
Sahara sniffed and blinked again, “What if I am endangering your life?”
Matthew knew there was more to this, and he did want to ask about it, but right now, he wanted her to understand! “I don’t care, we are together now! Not just you by yourself, or me by myself…Both of us…Do you really think I’m living life without you? Do you think I’d regret being with you…Even if my life is in danger, I want to be with you! Sahara! I don’t want you out of my sight from now on, do you understand!?”
Sahara let out a small sob and nodded.
She wasn’t utterly emotional because she wanted to be, she swore…She blamed it on being pregnant!

“Good!” Matthew said, standing up and taking Sahara with him.
Walking out of the tent, quite a few people saw the dishevelled couple and Matthew quickly said, “Tell the General we can go when he is ready! No…Tell Joshua, when Joshua is ready!”
“Yes, Your Highness!” Someone stated and ran about twenty metres away.
“Your Highness, should I instead look after the lady for you?”
Matthew looked over at the person, who looked like a Slayer, and frowned. “No.”
He couldn’t remember who that person was, making him feel strange, like he’d been living under a rock or in water for the last six months…
“Oh, I should tell Steven where I went.” Sahara said, biting her lip once again. She was still in her man’s arms, but she really didn’t want to be put down. Having him carrying her around like an obsessive freak, wasn’t unsatisfying in the least…But Sahara did remember now…About Steven…
She had completely forgotten! Utterly and completely forgot about the person who had been taking very good care of them!
She was a very bad person!
“Mmm, my dear, since Joshua just said that we are to leave in twenty minutes, I want you to send two letters.”
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Sahara looked up at him curiously, “Two?”
Matthew smiled at her, remembering her ways, and the past, “Yes, one to the emperor that I will write, and you can write one to Steven.”
“Why don’t I just teleport…”
Matthew interrupted her, “Nowhere without me again!”
Sahara frowned, “I was going to say teleport both of us, but no! You can stay here!”
Matthew sighed, as he watched her put her hands over her chest in a stubborn way. Tightening his hold on his most adorable and beautiful woman in the world, he put his forehead against hers, “Fine, I concede. I am sorry for interrupting you.”
Sahara nodded approvingly.
Matthew couldn’t help but think that he was not his own man anymore at all…He was hers…

Both Matthew and Sahara wrote a message, and she sent hers to Steven first, and then waited for Matthew to finish his.
When Sahara got given the letter, she opened it up…
Matthew put his hands out and fretted, “Don’t read it…”
Sahara looked up at him innocently and put another piece of parchment on top of it, with a white pill…
Sighing in relief, Matthew put down his hands and shook his head. As it was, he was embarrassed out of his mind at his letter!
He had written his undying love for his Princess and declared that he will only return if she does. But he had left that till last…Before that, he had written that they were still on their way to Purple Haven. Then…He got to his favorite part of finding his beloved and his child. Yes, he wrote it in, proudly! He was going to be a father! Even though he wanted to keep it a secret not long ago, strangely, he wanted to tell the world about it now…He couldn’t help it…
He wasn’t sure what changed his mind suddenly, but he’d written it in as though it was never a secret at all!

The emperor will be very happy, even though, through this, he will see that they had been together before the marriage took place. But…That was why he…
Clearing his throat, Matthew looked away, blushing…
Sahara looked away too but had a cheeky smile on her face…It would have been fine if he hadn’t of done anything, but since he had…She totally wanted to know what he had written now!
“Oh, little woman, this is my little to the emperor.”
Sahara looked up at the General and smiled, “Big man!”
“Yes, yes, I will not fight you while you are with child!” The General stated…
Was that really important…Did she say that she wanted to fight?
“Ok.” Sahara said, quite happy to his words, even though...Honestly, she had slacked off with her Martial Arts a bit and not done it every day. Some of the men from Purple Haven did train with her a few times, but…Nowadays, it was getting a bit…Difficult…So, she was happy she didn’t have to fight…
Sahara took the piece of parchment off him, and it only stated a few words, ‘No enemies, we are safe. Stay well. The General.’
She nodded, trying to hold back her chuckle.
Bundling up the whole lot of parchments up, with the pill inside, Sahara sat down to meditate, and felt very safe…And very conflictedly and confusingly unsafe, at the same time…
“Master!”
Sahara had not talked to the voice in her head all this time, but she could hear it fine once again…But that didn’t mean that she talked back to it…
Focusing on the letter, Sahara teleported it straight into the room at the palace, that she had been to once before. Seeing a few men and the Emperor, Sahara glided the letters to his ‘desk’ and laid it down like feathers.
She didn’t have to add in the affects…But…She did anyway.
Looking around, Sahara saw the people go quiet over the letters, taking a scared step away from them, and the emperor frowned at seeing them. He had not received something like this before and was unsure on how to act, so Sahara lifted up the white pill, to show him that the letters were not harmful.
Straight away, the emperor went wide eyed and quickly took the white pill from the air, then looked at the men surrounding him…
He coughed and quickly hid the pill in his attire, hoping that they won’t bring it up.
Opening up the letters, he saw that the General stated something simple and was pleased. Then…He saw Sahara’s letter…
‘Please forgive my absence, father. But with a white pill and a grandchild on the way, I’m sure I’ll get your forgiveness. Sahara.’
The emperor let out a strange sound and the Ministers and a eunuch close by wanted to see what was written in the letter.
Looking at the men, the emperor hid the letter and tried to hide his smile.
Clearing his throat, and taking a deep breath, he couldn’t help the smile grow…
She was such a strange woman that one!
Seeing Matthew’s letter under it, the emperor also read that, and his smile grew wider towards the middle, then completely lost it at the end…
Slamming Matthew’s letter onto the table, the emperor sighed and put his head into his hands.
“Your Majesty?” He heard someone ask.
Looking up at the men in the room, one by one, the emperor tried to think about what had been written. “They have not gotten to Purple Haven yet, no one has been hurt.”
“This…This is a message from His Highness, the Second Prince?”
The emperor sighed, “Yes.”
“Very good news!” And once one person said something, others chimed in, and the emperor nodded.
Reading the note from Sahara once again, he found the brush from his desk, moving all by itself, and he pushed himself back from his table in fright.
People went deathly quiet, as they saw the brush move and some even thought that they might be attacked.
As a minute went by, the emperor slowly got closer, finding the brush having not harmed him, and read what it had written, ‘Why so mad when you are going to be a grandfather?’
Letting out a huff, the emperor shook his head, “This King is mad because of the Second Prince, not because of that.”
Yes! It looked utterly strange…The Emperor, was talking to himself…No, he was talking…To a brush.
The brush moved once again, and the emperor sat on his normal position, now certain that he did not need to worry if whatever was taking over the brush will hurt him.
Seeing the brush finish, the emperor looked over the words, ‘Is it because we had sex the night before we were supposed to get married?’
Blunt…Absolutely blunt!
Suddenly, the Emperor was coughing and covering his mouth…A female…A female should never admit to such things!
“No! It is because he wants to leave! Just to be with you!” The emperor stated, his face was red with embarrassment. Who refers to that personal information like that so openly!?
The brush moved once again, and the emperor tried to return back to his casual manner, while he waited for his daughter in law to finish, totally forgetting about the other men in the room…
‘Then I will make sure he sees you, look out for the green star! Bye for now, Father, as it looks like we are ready to continue to Purple Haven.’
The emperor showed a strange look at a ‘smiley face’ and after a while nodded. A green star? But this is good, she will send his son back…Good, good!
What a good daughter in law! She is sometimes better than my own son!
Hiding the parchment that she had written on, to burn later, he straightened himself back up once again.
Looking up, he saw a whole heap of strange, confused and questionable faces.
Unable to handle the looks, the emperor could only try to get their minds onto something else, “…The Second Prince has conceived a child with his Princess! Eunuch Chun…Tell Empress Dowager, tell her the Second Prince will finally be a Father!”
Even though it was great news, the emperor was happier with the fact the Ministers had changed their faces to something more preferable. Now it was time to continue!
