《The Traveler Initiative》A quick update

Hello, my dear Readers.
It's been way too long since I've actually had time to write. If you've seen my last update on Patreon, you know why. But the long and short of it is the heavy workload due to people being out sick and stuff. Well, this has now calmed down somewhat and as of the start of March, things have returned mostly to normal. But, well, there's another issue now.
During this whole thing at work, opportunity came a-knockin'. And, while I originally planned to pass up the opportunity in favor of my already cemented career plans, I couldn't quite get it out of my head. In the end, I caved and organized a meeting, and what I heard there, I liked. A lot.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
So, barring any unfortunate accidents, I will soon receive a sideways promotion. But, since I'm going to be working in a different field, this comes with training. Quite a lot of training, tests, and periods of time where I'll have to stay in hotels for those training periods. NGL, the benefits of that new position are too great to pass up. But well, early projections estimate that I'll be at it for about half a year before I'm fully trained and passed all of the necessary tests, and attained all of the certifications I need.
As you may know, writing is just a hobby for me, but writing a long story like this takes time. Each chapter I publish has several hours of work behind it, and I don't always have time to write. It's been pretty bad last month, and due to this new opportunity, I probably won't have too much, if any, time to write. I have paused my Patreon for now, since I anticipate that I won't be releasing a lot of chapters in the near future. I will still look for some opportunities to continue writing, but for the next few months, there most likely won't be a lot of activity. I'm looking forward to picking the pace back up again once this has all blown over, later this year.

When the sigil-keeper, known to his friends as Wren, finds himself in possession of ancient, dangerous magic, he and his companions are drawn into a web of intrigue and violence as every faction on the face of Selenia vies for control of the knowledge contained within his head. But with great power, great corruption follows... "Son of the Sigil" is a fantasy-adventure novel about bad men doing bad things and hopefully getting away with it. Magic, blood, war, corruption, slavery, suicide and a whole lot more. If you like good anti-heroes, you'll probably like this. No more spoilers. It's going to be a long, brutal adventure for these lads. This is the first story I've ever written, and I really hope you enjoy it. It is still early days but I feel good about it so far. I am looking for criticism in order to improve, not to be coddled, so please, don't go easy on me. The main thing is that you enjoy my work, so if you do, please consider supporting me in any capacity, even a like, and definitely follow me on Twitter, so that I can continue to grow as a writer. And thank you so much! https://twitter.com/3nglish1nfidel
