A few hours of brooding later I decide to go to sleep. When I wake up I am in a forest in a different world. Hi this is my first story so please dont expect much. Disclaimer - I say hermit in that he lives in a cave in a giant forest with his wife and and master with occasional visits from his parents or other creatures. I do not use hermit in a religious sense or in that he lives entirely alone. The first few chapters are worse than some later chapters. If you can get through to chapter 24 you will find that the quality increases. I will do a rewrite eventually so look forward to that . . . . . if you want.

Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal?
