"You got a name?" Jet asked the woman cackling as she watched Carion leap out the window.

"Who me? I go by Glass." Glass gave a wicked smile.

'Man, Jet, why do you attract so many crazy people?' Alex leaped out of his body.

Jet was about to reply when he blinked, and Glass was right before him. Then she smiled and stepped back. Jet let out a groan of pain as she pulled a long piece of glass out of his stomach. He couldn't understand how she had stabbed him so easily or moved so fast. "How?"

Glass seemed to reappear back where she had been standing. Then, she raised the glass to her mouth and licked the blood. "You haven't fought another Time Walker, have you?"

"I didn't see her move at all." Alex moved closer to Jet. "How bad is the wound?" She whispered.

"Oh, don't worry about him. I like to play before I kill." Glass chuckled.

"Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you?" Alex eyed her quizzically.

"This is quite enough." Jet was sick of being stabbed. The world slowed for him so he could keep an eye on her. But even with the world moving slower. She instantly moved next to him. A piece of glass in her hand nearly struck him. But with everything moving so slowly, he could dodge this time, and just like that, she stood back in her original spot.

"You dodged. You have quite the reflexes." Glass smiled and prepared to move again.

This time, Jet went into overdrive and used his magic sense to watch her. She took a step and vanished yet again. Jet, however, did see a ripple of magic form in front of him. Without thinking, he created a fireball in his hand as she appeared near him. When she noticed the flame, she disappeared again. Jet tried to keep an eye out for where she would reappear. But this time, he felt the glass stabbing into his back. He moved as fast as his body would allow so the cut was shallow. Glass returned to standing where she started with a frown this time.

"Jet, leak your magic out of your body," Almark shouted as he entered the room. "It will block us from being able to walk out of time around you."

Jet had a look on his face like how do I do that. That was something he had meant to learn, but he hadn't had the time. Well, now was as good as any time to learn. He forced his magic out of his body and tried not to lose any. That wasn't happening. He used five percent of his magic and lost half right off.

"The almighty Almark has arrived. I was hoping not to meet you again. No wonder I got locked down here." Glass complained.

"Britney, oh crap." Almark went pale when he saw the woman.

"That's all you have to say. After all this time. No apology for what you have done." Glass's hands clinched the glass in her hand, cutting into her flesh.

"You know this woman?" Alex eyed Almark.

"Yes, I may have gotten her stuck somewhere." Almark trailed off.

"Yes, why don't you tell them how you abandoned me? How you left me to die," Glass growled out.

"In all fairness, you made your choice. You chose to stay in the time ripple to save your family. Even as strong as I was at the time. I couldn't save them." Almark shook his head sadly. "Britney, why did it have to be you."

"I am no longer that weak girl. My name is Glass now." Every window in the room shattered. Glass sent everything at them.

Jet created a barrier of wind around them. "Well, you know her. What kind of weakness does she have?"

"Uhm, thing is, I haven't seen her in a few ish years. She could not control glass last time I checked. We do not get magic like others. We generally move through pockets of time when we fight." Almark explained quickly.

Jet looked at all the shattering glass around them. "Do we have a plan?"

"For starters, make sure to keep a magic field around us." Almark looked around for Glass but couldn't find her.

"That isn't very easy." Jet growled out, trying to keep all the glass out. It had started to spin around his barrier, pushing it inward.

Almark had a puzzled look on his face. Then, He looked Jet up and down. "I forgot how young you were in this time, sorry. It's basically the same as what you are doing now, using your magic as a wind barrier. You can easily control your magic outside your body to a point. Time Walkers like me cannot move through time in someone else's magic. That's why Britney can't get in here."

"Glass." Alex corrected.

Jet hadn't thought about his magic that way. But Almark did bring up a good point. Why couldn't he? He spread his magic outward, and the wind barrier took that magic, which made it expand outward at a frightening rate. The next thing he heard was screams as Glass got blown out of the building.

"I need her alive." Almark ran over to look out of the window hole. To find Glass, well skating on glass back his way. "What the hell, how did she get this magic?"

Jet walked up beside Almark. "Sorry, didn't mean to knock her out of the building." When he saw Glass, his eyes widened. "That is a lot of glass."

"A lot is an understatement." Alex looked at the river of glass heading their way.

"What is Britney doing here? Also, how is she able to manipulate glass?" Lily decided that was a good time to show.

"She doesn't like that name. She goes by Glass now." Alex explained.

"I can see why. Now, what is the plan here?" Lily looked at the wall of glass.

"I'll try not to kill her." Jet raised his hand and waved. A wall of fire formed in front of all the glass. It felt like it jumped thirty degrees instantly. The buildings caught fire around them as the temperature rose. The flames moved to block the glass that was missed.

"Hope you two have a plan for when Jet is finished. Because that show burned away half his magic." Alex eyed the others.

Almark and Lily looked at Alex and then back at the moving wall of flames. They both couldn't believe that Jet was capable of this with only a year of practice. Lily leaned over to whisper in Almark's ear. "Can you go through with destroying her soul?"

Almark closed his eyes. "I will do as I must." Even if he had to use himself.

Jet finished up and felt sick. "I've never controlled that much magic at once. I don't feel too well."

Alex cocked her head. "You've used more magic than that at once before."

"Yeah, but he probably didn't control it and let it go," Lily explained.

"Die," Glass screamed from behind them.

Lily made several illusionary knights to hold off Glass's attack. She wasn't too sure how the woman had found more glass. Then shoved the thought aside, Remembering they were in a city. At least her illusions didn't shatter like when Lord Joy attacked them. "You know, I hate capture missions."

"Why?" Jet asked.

"Seriously, it's easier to kill than capture. You have to be careful when trying not to kill someone. This is something you told me." Almark eyed Jet.

Jet cringed inwardly at that. Now, he wasn't a saint, but to tell someone something like that. Though it did make sense, he looked back when he heard several buildings collapsing. Some big red monster was destroying the city. "What is that?"

Almark turned to look. "That would be your grandson going out of control. We should focus on our problems."

"It looks like Lily has everything under control." Jet tried to help anyway. But the floor was made of metal and wood. Neither of them was he ab manipulate. They wanted her alive, so fire was out of the question. Honestly, he could see why he would have told Almark that killing was easier. "What can you do to help?"

Almark pulled out an older version of Fate. "While I have time locked down here, I'm basically a normal person with a magical gun. That is also a bow. If we had some arrows, that would be better to use right now. Using Fate will kill her." Almark put the gun away.

Jet heard a lot of glass shattering and frowned. "Looks like she found more ammunition." The glass was doing something odd. Glass wasn't bringing it into the building. But it spun around the building at a rapid rate. He almost realized what she was up to too late. "Almark, grab Lily quick. Alex, get inside of me now." The building seemed to groan suddenly, and Glass was already flying out. He leaped forward as Almark grabbed onto Lily. Now they had touched each other, Jet grabbed Almark and teleported to the roof. The roof they were standing on fell out from under them. As the floor they were on collapsed. So they ended up falling fifteen feet.

"Crap, that hurt." Lily landed on her face with Almark on top of her.

Jet landed on his feet, he was used to the teleporting around now. "I've fallen from too many heights now to be thrown off by them."

"That isn't the problem. Your teleporting needs some work." Almark got to his feet, looking around for Glass. "She is back. Does she look irritated that we didn't die?" Glass most definitely did look pissed and Glass being Glass. There was a ton of glass flying around them, ready to strike.

Jet didn't think and created a firewall around them again to burn all the glass away. What he hadn't noticed was the shards that were on the ground around his feet. Alex leaped out to protect Jet a moment too late. Shards of glass pierced Jet's body. Alex had taken some of the shards of glass. She did not get out quickly enough, and the damage was done. Glass, after the flames died, laughed as hard as she could. Lily covered her mouth in shock, and Almark was the only one who had the sense to grab Jet.

"Jetsford, don't you dare die on me." Almark checked him for a pulse. But as he did, the glass in his body shifted and fell. Then he could smell burning flesh.

"That hurt." Jet huffed out.

Lily turned to Glass and created several archer illusions. They fired as they were being made. Glass managed to dodge, reflect, and take them out individually.

"Almark, I can't see anything." Jet's couldn't remove the glass shards embedded in them. Not that it would matter if he did. "Thought I had a few years before I lost my sight."

"That's the problem with changing time. It tries to fix itself, and you only had a few more months before you lose your sight." Almark helped Jet sit down.

"That makes no sense. Then how can anything be changed?" Jet tried to look around, but everything was black. He used his magic sight, and it wasn't working right as well.

"I'll rephrase that. Time can only be altered to a degree around you." Almark could see the questions on Jet's face. "You will find out later why that is."

"Guys, we need a plan," Lily shouted back at them.

"Your hardly even trying right now." Almark barked back more forcefully than intended.

"If I go all out, she will die." Lily sighed in frustration.

"My magic sight isn't working." Jet complained while they fought.

"Sorry, Jet, this really isn't the time." Almark stepped away.

'Alex, what are you doing?' Jet thought to her, and she did not answer. He felt around for her, finding her body in front of him. When he felt around, there was warm liquid on her small feathers. "Almark, is Alex bleeding?"

Almark turned back around and looked at her. "Yes and no. I didn't know she had started to regrow her body. Try to send her back to your world for now." Almark went back to the fight.

Jet had no clue how to do this. But how hard could it be? She leaps in and out all the time. Plus, he had managed to put his weapons in his inner world. With a thought, Alex returned to that world. "Hey, Lily, why don't you make something big enough to grab Glass? Then shatter her legs." Jet waited a while for an answer, but none came. "What, not a good idea." Jet, unable to see anything, did not know the sky was bright with white flames.
