Chapter 14. The psalm singer

Charlotte put the wicker basket of lobsters she carrying

in the laundry wash tubs. She walked the trellis covered

path through the gardens to the house enjoying the smell

of honeysuckle.

Under the portico at the back of the house she found Vie

reading a letter.
