John woke up in a new town with no idea how he got there. He looked around and saw that he was in a small room with a bed, a table, and a chair. He got up and walked to the window. He looked outside and saw that he was in the middle of nowhere. There were no buildings or people around.John was confused and scared. He didn't know how he got there or why he was there. He tried to remember what happened before he woke up, but he couldn't. He felt like he was in a dream. He decided to explore the town and find out where he was. He walked out of the room and into the street. The town was small and quiet. There were only a few houses and shops.John walked around for hours but couldn't find anyone. He started to feel like he was the only person in the town. He wondered if he was going crazy. As the sun started to set, John saw a light in the distance. He walked towards it and found a small bar. He walked inside and saw a few people sitting at the bar."Hey," John said to the bartender. "Can I get a drink?"The bartender looked at him and smiled. "Sure thing," he said.John sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. He took a sip and looked around the bar."Where am I?" John asked."You're in Limbo," the bartender said.John didn't know what to say. "Limbo?" he asked."Yeah," the bartender said. "It's a place between heaven and hell."John didn't believe him. "That's not possible," he said. The bartender shrugged. "Believe what you want," he said.John finished his beer and ordered another one."What am I doing here?" John asked."You have unfinished business on Earth," the bartender said."What kind of business?" John asked."That's for you to figure out," the bartender said.John finished his second beer and left the bar. He knew that he had to figure out what his unfinished business was if he ever wanted to leave Limbo. He walked around for hours until he found an apple tree in an abandoned orchard on the outskirts of town. He picked an apple from the tree and ate it.As soon as he took a bite, he felt different. He felt like he had more energy and clarity of thought than ever before. On his way back to town, John met Sarah who was walking her dog. They started talking, and John told her about his situation.Sarah listened intently and offered to help him figure out what his mission was.Together, they spent the next three days trying to figure out what John's mission was. They talked to people in the town and explored every inch of it, but they couldn't find any answers. On the third day, they heard screams coming from outside of town walls. They ran towards it only to find goblins attacking people from nearby villages who had come for trade purposes.John knew that this was his mission - to save this town from goblins who had been attacking them for years now but no one knew how to stop them.He quickly gathered all able-bodied men from nearby villages who had come for trade purposes along with Sarah who had been helping him all along with this mission. They fought bravely against goblins for hours until they finally defeated them all with their combined efforts. After defeating them, John felt relieved that his mission was complete but as soon as they started walking back towards their homes, one of the goblins who had been hiding behind attacked John with his blade.John fell down on ground with blood oozing out of his wound.Sarah tried her best to save him but it was too late.John died there on that spot. My addition: Sarah killed the goblin, and mourned John's death, then she kept John's sword to remember him by and to continue slaying goblins and other creatures, for she was a warrior.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.

The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!
