Athena says "So many flavors! Ash, thank you! No matter what else may happen, the joy of experiencing food makes it worth it."
Lin says "Ash, if you ever want to leave the ship, I think you will need to make Athena her own food pouch."
"You are just jealous because she can eat anything she wants and doesn't have to worry about it."
Athena says "I can?"
"Yeah, it's not like the ship is going to gain weight!"
Lin says "Alright, maybe I am a little jealous."
"You don't need to be. You can eat anything you want as well."
Lin says "Sure, you say that now, but will you still want me when I am fat?"
"You would have to eat all day everyday and not exercise at all to gain any weight."
Lin says "What? What are you talking about?"
"Remember when I enhanced your body? Well, I also enhanced your metabolism, meaning you burn fat even when you aren't doing anything."
Lin says "What?! Really?! And you waited until now to tell me?!"
"You didn't ask, and I didn't think of it."
Lin kicks me in the shin as she gets up, then she goes and gets herself another plate of desserts. I finish my food, without getting extra, and go back to working out how to make a zipper. Lin eats a third plate of food before she goes back to working on the outfits.
The kids eat too many desserts, go on a sugar rush, and run around until they collapse. I get up, move them to the firepit to sleep, and then clean up the room. Athena says goodnight and leaves, so I go ahead and open the soulscape.
First I recreate the castle for the kids to play in, then I recreate a mall I used to frequent. I would go there fairly often and wander around out of boredom, so my memories are pretty detailed. I remember where all the shops are and mostly what they commonly carried.

The mall is three stories and has tons of shops that Lin should find interesting. Once it is ready I invite all of the kids, Lin, Brightfire, and Myria, everyone shows up within a few minutes. After looking around and spotting it, Lin grabs Brightfire and Myria and drags them towards the mall.
Surprisingly, the kids all follow, it seems they are curious about it since it is new. Instead of following all of them, I sit back, relax, and watch them remotely. I filled the mall with people so that they could get the full feeling as they walk around.
Of course, the people in the mall are fake, so they don't react to a bunch of monsters walking around. The kids only wander around for a while, but the girls are having a lot more fun. Kechara and Asuna come over to join me while the rest of the kids head to the castle to play.
Kechara says "Father, I had something I wanted to ask you about."
"Sure, ask away."
Kechara says "A few days ago, the four of us had this strange thing appear in our vision. No one but us could see it, but all four of us got the same thing."
"Oh, sorry. I should have thought to warn you. A little while ago the goddesses offered me a reward and I chose to have them grant all of you the ability to gain levels."
Kechara says "So that's what happened!"
Asuna says "I told you it had to be something to do with dad."
Kechara says "Yes, you were right. Father, what class have you chosen for me?"
"I haven't. What class you choose is completely up to you."
Kechara says "Really? In that case, I will choose to be a mage. I want stronger magic. Hopefully, strong enough to allow me to have a human form."

Asuna says "Dad, is it alright if I choose to be a warrior? I doubt my ice magic can get much stronger."
"Yes, Asuna, that is fine. Although, if that is what you want I would suggest you wait a bit. Kechara, you want to have a human form?"
Asuna says "Wait for what?"
Kechara says "Yes! I really want to be able to go into a city and interact with people. Shrinking allows us to enter the city, but people are still afraid of us."
"Asuna, wait for us to get back. Brightfire is building an order of knights for the goddesses. A knight is basically a stronger type of warrior. Kechara, I can teach you how to shapeshift right now if you want."
Kechara says "Thank you, father, but shapeshifting in the soulscape doesn't mean much."
Asuna says "Alright, I will wait."
"No, not just in the soulscape. I can teach you how to shapeshift in the real world too."
Kechara says "Really? Yes please!"
Asuna says "Me too! Me too!"
It doesn't take me long to teach the two of them the spell and they immediately try it out. They change into human form and are both completely naked. Luckily, my brain categorizes them as my kids and no bad thoughts pop up.
They are both quite beautiful, so I quickly teach them how to create clothes before my brain changes its mind. Once they have clothes on I let myself take a better look at them, they look similar. In fact, they look enough alike to be real sisters, I wonder if they did that on purpose.
The biggest difference between them is their hair colors, Kechara's hair is multi-color, while Asuna's is pure white. However, the more I look at them, the more I see something familiar in their features. It takes me a couple of minutes to realize that they could both be Lin's sisters.
They don't resemble her as much as each other, but now that I have seen it, I can't unsee it. I wonder if they did it on purpose, or if Lin has just become important to them. Before I can ask them about it, they jump on me, hug me, thank me, and then disappear.
They are probably excited to try it out in the real world, I just hope they stay in the tower. I admit that I am a little worried about them, they are still quite innocent. It also worries me that their human forms were adults, not children or teenagers.
"Myria, can I ask you a favor?"
Myria says "Of course, what's up?"
"I just taught Kechara and Myria how to shapeshift. I am a little worried they will run off to the city without proper preparation. Could you go and keep an eye on them for me? At least, try to keep them from causing any disasters."
Myria says "Sure, I will do my best!"
Myria quickly leaves the soulscape and I go to ask the rest of the kids if they want to learn to shapeshift. However, none of them really seem interested in shapeshifting, at least not yet. It's probably for the best, Ekard, Mulan, and Mushu are too small to shift properly.

Dark Skies
It is a weapon, raised and trained for one purpose: war. Instead, it ends up broken long before the battle, losing what little meaning its life may have held. But that might just mean this weapon has a chance to choose its own fate. How should a broken weapon that knows nothing and can do nothing, live in a world of humans? A few notes: This story uses a hard magic system and is set in a somewhat realistic middle ages time period. Tagged sexual content just in case it comes up later. A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)
